Quality Control on Blog Posts

This is the best game of hide and seek i have ever seen. Scopley is hiding, nowhere to be found.
No faction has maxed the gear event.
No doubt they changed it to make sure players spend a load of money on pulls that ”gives” the gear. Wonder what droprate the gear has. Once every 10000 pull?
The community needs answers.

bait and switch and then the character in question is broken causing server errors. Not sure feedback does anything after the fact.

I am fully in agreement with the rest of the community, you release the blog as a guide for us but the amount of times you have "Moved the goalposts" mid event or just as it has started is frustrating and insulting to us who have put serious time into the game, let alone the newer players. You are constantly asking us for feedback and from the years of surveys and yet the persistent issues exist, Even though you have no problem changing the code for events once it goes live. We have time and time again, well at least I have, suggested that you do testing before you drop any new content. "Subject to change" is the easiest way to hide your blunders, it's akin to "Taken from a test environment"... Just own it! We'd respect you a lot more if you admitted it..

I would say that the Top 5 being this far from maxing tells "the team" everything they need to know.
This event was a rope-a-dope from the blog release. And the response from "the team" is completely unacceptable. Intended to be 25 mil from the start? How did 2 mil get released in the blog?

Hey guys,
Thank you all for your Feedback on our Blog Workflow and how you perceived mistakes or changes in the past. As the #1 WWE Mobile game out there, we want to provide our players with the Information they need to succeed. Whether it's a short tweet or a lengthy announcement on the Blog, everything we do is for the Community and beyond, so they can enjoy the game they love at its fullest.
All this is only possible with a strong team behind this machinery. Live Ops and Community Management work closely to prepare you for changes and events. The downside is that while some Contests are still WIP minutes before the planned launch, the related Information needs to arrive in time so you can prepare for the Contests.
So the caveat with that is sometimes last-minute changes in design AFTER we announce the Contest. So, please don't put it on the Content Creators when they help to spread or read the news. This is where the "subject to change" comes into play. With that, you should be aware of possible changes before the launch, no matter what you saw on the Blog or elsewhere. Sometimes, typos can give you the impression of incorrect Info as well. This is not intended, but it can happen, given our abovementioned goals. Of course, we always try to improve and reduce the errors when we see them.
Nonetheless, a typo or subject-to-change situation does NOT make the full Blog inaccurate. The frequency of those situations is readily understandable, yet, the recent case is unfortunate and did not help with what we committed ourselves to. We will monitor the Feedback and performance of the current events to evaluate potential action items to keep up with the high standards we set in this industry.
We appreciate your dedication to the game and the franchise, and we hope to show you once more that all we strive for is to give you the best experience in-game and outside the game. Acolyte's Scribble
Best,
Firpo

And again....
....I truly hope those that spent $500 the first day to get Ali request a full refund from their bank establishment. False advertising due to an ineffective team.

Lets take out the incorrect max milestone. Lets say 25 mil was the released number. It's still a ridiculous amount. In a full faction it's 125 pulls per person to max.
$100 for 40 pulls.
$300 for 120 pulls. Still leaves us short 5 pulls per person, but I'm keeping it to easy math.
That is $30,000 and that's just from 1 faction maxing (not that any are).
Im not dumb, I understand that it's a business, and I understand that you need to make money, but this valuation for the gear is so so bad. Terrible event even if the blog wasn't wrong.

sorry but copy and paste responses only make the situation worse trying to defend the indefensible.
That the top faction is not even 25% to the top milestone with 5 hrs left says quite a bit abit the contest parameters and the money grab needed.

Going from 2M max milestone to 25M max milestone is not a design flaw. 2M final max milestone was up on the blog 3 days before the event started and stayed up 2 days after the event started until it was mysteriously changed (without an update time stamp - which unlike other Scopely blog updates that reflect an edited date time stamp) on the portal quietly under the cloak of darkness, hoping no one would notice the sly change.
Contests should never be 'works in progress' up until the last minute things are set to go live. No reputable company that deals with research to test to consumer operations would ever operate in such a manner. It's absurd to use that as a justification for the follies that befall your company on a regular basis. "Last minute" should never be an option for consumers and players of this game who spend their own, real, tangible income on a product which they know isn't tangible but expect to get the best value and entertainment for the money spent.
Its your company's lack of focus, quality checks, and attention to detail that put content creators in the unenviable positions they find themselves in all too often. Whether intentional or not, you feed them the information they regurgitate to all of us. We take them at their word because they take you at your word all the while your words more often than not end up being half-truths. If you don't want that burden on your content creators, then create an environment where information is reviewed, proofread, and checked for inconsistencies.
I'll give you credit for something and you're right about this - "a subject to change situation does NOT make the full blog inaccurate". What it does, at least in this case, is make the blog unreliable. It invalidates everything every player was preparing for right down to every last dollar, euro, franc, or whatever currency players had prepared themselves to spend on the solo and faction events. Oh and let's be clear about one thing, this was not a typo or subject to change situation. A typo would be listing the final milestone at 2,500,000 instead of 25,000,000. Subject to change would be replacing one class/era/gender of required superstars for another. This is the clear definition of false advertising and bait & switch. Please review Webster's for the definition on each wording if you and your cohorts are unsure.
If you as a company (and spokesperson for this company) are going to live/die on the "last minute" changes excuse as a reason to justify continued failure to your player base and paying consumer base, I'd assume we would all be okay with contest(s) being delayed just a little bit further just to ensure everything has been double, or even triple checked just to review and validate there are no "design flaws" with the contest format when it actually goes live.
Finally saying you strive (or will strive) to do better are just meaningless words at this point until you as a company actually put some work into doing so. In the past 45 days alone there has been so many gaffes in this game that has either required your company to do rollbacks, send out apologetic in game messages, or allow things to stand as they are without correction. Simply put you've burned us too much as a player base and your words are starting to ring hollow. If you want us to believe you are trying to do better and will do better by us, then start doing it. This cluster of an event would have been the perfect place to start but yet again the chosen option by Scopely has been to sweep all the broken mess under a rug and hope no one notices.

It's same always. You just want money nothing other. This is nothing new as you are a professional and habitual offender of scams in game. Thank you any ways
