    I don't expect Scopely to even read these comments let alone actually do anything to balance their incompetency but it does leave me feeling grateful that I haven't spent anything in this event

    This whole event is trash you should change it to spend to get ali as cause With all the daily claims etc if you are missing one css then you are gonna end up at 33,755,000

    Its a dirty move changing that mile stone especially for the factions that nearly maxed it to have the goals changed, absolute disgrace.

    Subject to changes should be a reasonable last resort change to a major mistake not change as you please.

  • Its literally just lying to us to try to trick us to spend, evil predatory nonsense from an evil predatory company. We need to try to organize a top faction/whale spending strike until all of this is addressed

    5.4 Billion valuation in 2020 for Scopely...guess ol Walter Driver and Javier Ferrera don't have enough money to put food on their tables at home.

    Subject to change should never be a difference of 12.5x...pretty sad.

    Canceling VIP and I'm not spending my weekly 4.99 for the bonus weekly reward that's offered. Was it worth it?

    We understand your frustrations and have passed them along. We have also reached out to the team regarding this matter but are still waiting on an official response, so unfortunately that's all we can do at this time to diffuse the situation.

    In the meantime, please take a moment to review our Community Guidelines as calling for boycotts, moderator abuse, vulgar language etc. are not things that we tolerate on the Forum.

    This is not at all fair to max the faction contest by spending that huge money. It is not at all fair enough and everyone is expected to get some good compensation regarding this. Please look into this scopely.

    Why do the mods defend the company more than the customer base that made the company what is today?

    Hey folks,

    First off, thank you all for your feedback on this matter. We as mods are players of this game too, and we also get affected by these errors, so we understand and share your frustration.

    Secondly, the contest milestone was always intended to be 25m, and the error does in fact stem from the blog post, not the contest itself. We have approached the team about Quality Assurance with regards to blog posts.

    From the team: "If the event turns out to be completely negative even, not just with the faction contest but with the solo contest having Ali in "free" milestones, then it's a design flaw which the team will have to account for in another iteration of such a contest. If it turns out to be a positive, then possibly no changes will be needed in further iterations of such a contest, except for to provide the correct number(s) on the blog."

    Could you explain in non corporate speak what that quote from “the team” means? I’m finding it real difficult to understand what is trying to be conveyed. Thanks in advance.

  • I could see going from 2mil to 3mil as a "subject to change" but the 25mil was blindsided

    Sounds like they think free Ali will make up for the change and all will be happy & if they make $$ then no change in future.

  • If the contest was always intended to be 25 million instead of 2 million, a common courtesy of an in game message to the customer base on Monday morning before the start of the contest would have easily fixed the problem. You have no problem telling your customer base about the upcoming evening twitch broadcast, or a mistake that affects your bottom line. Why wasn't this information relayed to us in a timely matter? Waiting three days to relay the information comes off as bait and switch and disregard for your customer base. Spin it any way you want, but since day one, you have a track record of handling issues in a not so customer friendly manner. Unless you are out of touch, you should be able to understand our frustrations.

    The only way people are going to be satisfied that it qas always meant to be 25m is if we see proof of this.


    Whats to say they decided mid week that this gear was too good to give away at the 2m milestone and then decided to make it impossible to get.


    We currently feel lied and cheated and the only way to fix that is prove it was a mistake.

  • Yes it was to difficult to get it .. Even you said that the Mohammad Ali was for free but it was the last milestone of regular reward of his contest and all required superstar was of primium character it requires spending. So it was also little hard to reach so please make it easy for non spender players or even you not gave that contest superstar star for purchase also just you gave his shards for purchase....

    Basically the team will look at feedback once the event is done and if people still aren't happy or the milestones were too big for the faction contest they'll make adjustments for the future.

    10 hours until the spend event is over, and the top faction is 1/5th of the way to the final milestone. Yeah, the milestones are too big...

    The damage is done once the event has ended.


    Something needs to be done to rectify the situation. There hasnt even been an official apology from scopely. The only acknowledgement of the mistake so far is changing the blog.


    Players are pissed and if something isnt done now it could effect peoples willingness to spend on future events
