Quality Control on Blog Posts

So the blog is wrong, not just for the Faction contest, but the Solo Contest as well.
The Blog initially stated that there would be 16 million solo points, now it says 7.5 million and you never bothered to mention it.
So many players think they'll get Ali for free, by completing the tour and maxing the Showdown contest. And, you didn't bother to mention that to us.

I just invested this money in @Big Poppa Brian and @MattSabre ’s retirement fund instead of this contest. Hope you’re happy!
that investment is subject to change by the way

Send us some free pulls for this will ya!??!

The whole game needs better quality control - blogs, the portal offers (seeing more offers giving incorrect pulls), the game (whether it's glitches in the game, visual bugs, points not adding to contests, etc.) The list goes on.
Players are parting with their hard earned money on this game, we deserve a better quality product. Scopely are lucky that a lot of players play this game for the community aspect and because majority are wrestling fans.

I’m going to quote Randy Orton. Stupid stupid stupid stupid.
i actually called this on Monday when I saw the blog. Not shocked at all. You’ve lost out on a lot of money as I imagine at least 50 factions will have spent to max the original blog posted event. Now I don’t think any faction will bother maxing as the rewards Isn’t anywhere near the money required.
This is a huge L for the Team. But was fully expected since it’s fairly common that the blog is wrong. Probably better off not bothering with them anymore. Causes more hassle when we get subject to changed.

It amazes me how bad some things can be with this game and blog posts. Subject to change should not be for making a contest 12.5x harder. It can be used for small things like superstar requirements and small increases. It’s insane to me how out of touch this company can be at times. This is totally unacceptable. Other games/companies never seem to have the issues but as a player base we constantly have to be on our toes to worry about how something that you put out is going to change and completely change our experience. Having the gear be attainable was really a nice touch heading in to this event. Now, it leaves a sour taste in everyone’s mouth, not that anyone cares. I’ll wait with bated breath for the “blog is subject to change” response that we’ll get in a few hours along with some gifts that don’t help us in any way.

I was planning on helping my faction maté’s to achieve our goal but this is unacceptable . How are we supposed to reach that far of a goal compared to what you guys posted on blog .

I don't know what to say here that hasn't already been said in this thread and 100,000,000 times before. Seriously... I don't know how Scopley's utter disregard for information and execution happens over and over and people wonder why we're outraged.
Many members of our faction were going to do pulls, now most aren't going to spend a single penny.

Totally agree. When you make drastic changes to a event, scopely is looking for the dollar not the player satisfaction. Yes people will spend to get ahead but there is allot of people who just enjoy wrestling and candy crush and our dreams came to life!
I understand you are a business but don't sacrifice our fun for a extra dollar.

Agree with pretty much every comment before mine. It was expected. Every single event has some fairly major screw up recently.

Scopely math strikes again. You need to do some serious quality control. Multiple mistakes per week is getting ridiculous. It's just greed and sloppiness.

Completely unacceptable change but once again mistakes and Scopely go hand in hand. Unfortunately...

Agreed. I spend a crap TON of money on this game already and was looking forward to a reasonably priced effort that could be made by entire faction. Intead we got sorry, it will be a few hundred more each on top of the $500 to get Ali in the last event. Most of us work for a living and this game gives no good return on investment as it is. Coming up with extra money every day is hard on everyone except scopely

Just scopely again, moving these goalposts further and further away, if any faction does max this while it's like this then shame on you, absolute appaling subject to change this one, a new low
We see what you did, make Ali "free" but make the gear that makes him actually worth anything just out of reach...... Or so we thought. It's sad and I for one won't be doing it. Not a whale by any means but they could have had a few dollars from me if it meant us getting the gear, not 200 minimum per every member.
Pure greed, over and over

I'll take my "to preserve fairness" gear now (:

I’m extremely tired of the incorrect information that been given, first to great people like Mherex and Goldie then to the community. Cannot expect people to accept the “subject to change” blanket excuse when faction does plan around the blogs.
At this point, the gear, even though helps a lot, is not at the same level as a rare plate such as the drip plate. So it’s not worth the money to max and definitely does what the event title says, stings like a bee.
I will definitely will rethInk what I spend on this game. Games are supposed to be fun, but shaking us for every dollar is getting tiredsome.

This content has been removed.

I too grow tired of subject to change.
I also grow tired of the blatant disgusting spend events.

I can forgive small errors in the blog, but the milestone being wrong by 12.5 times is just simply unacceptable. People saved money for this to get the gear. Forsaking points they could have gotten in the first contest. Then scopely pulls a fast one and screws them over.
2 -
Im a long time player and a moderated spender but lately it feels like Scopely do not care about us. With every bad decision your are taking the fun out of the game.
1 -
See people are not even surprised anymore just getting real tired off you and how you do these events and change thing all the time this is a massive rise in what you posted on the blog do better
1 -
This stuff is why I'm slowing down on spending. Tired of getting screwed over by you scopley
1 -
I'm not shocked at all. You want folks to play the game but then things like this happen. SUBJECT TO CHANGE SMH. If you don't want folks to continue playing the game you're doing a good job with these ridiculous decisions
1 -
If a company put in print the cost of an item they would have to honor that price not tell you sorry it's over 12 times that amount now.... If a mistake is made you have to own it as a company. You can't take it out on the buyer of your product. Does it change the trajectory of your profits? I don't know but frankly none of us care. If we messed up in our lines of work we'd have to own it and eat crow. You can't put out one thing and then change it after the fact. It's not an ethical way to do business. Someone messed up and the company takes the hit, not the consumers.

Second it! I spend on this game regularly, and when the change is this drastic, there is no way we can keep up. It isn't a good business practice, and puts its community members at disadvantage. Do better!

This is some bull. Ain't gonna spend a dime this time. I've seen this coming from miles away!
0 -
I understand subject to change. But not by this much. This is gonna get some major blow back towards the company. Poor decisions create poor outcomes and poor feedback.
6 -
Time is also a factor in this... Subject to change should be used to correct immediately errors that are clear... So people can still adjust their plans... Now the event is live and the blog still says 2millions... That's more like false advertisement
4 -
This is a bait and switch event, pure and simple.
You should lower the cost of the gear to 7k on the prizewall to make good.
4 -
Scopely doesn't make mistakes...
Everything is calculated right down to the final letter.
Obviously we're playing chess, while they are playing backgammon...
Although it probably won't happen because of their ToS, but I wouldn't hate it if someone tried to bring a CAL against this company for what basically ends up being repeated deceptive business practices...over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
But hey, maybe that part of the ToS can be subject to change as well.
Don't see why not!
