we are learning to enjoy boss battles. One fix that is desperately needed; faction leaders being able to kick AFK players who start a lobby. We have all 10 slots taken up by individuals who started a lobby then left their app.
gotta be a time limit or ability to kick them to open slots

Very laggy so hard to give decent input. Seems like a whale fest mode where only amazing rosters can do great each week. Already it's very hard to complete events on free level butbthisbwill make it much worse. Needing 4 to go with can also be difficult other than super active factions. Getting the points for each person is super hard based on when and how long each can play.
This seems more like a mid week fun mode for bonus faction rewards and not a real event.
Let one the rewards for doing this event are trash.

Overall, I like the new mode. I think it’s a lot of fun. Obviously glitches are going to happen. I think there is a bit of a discrepancy between the early levels vs the harder levels. I like that this mode actually needs a strategy and communicating involved. One issue is the shield, I think there needs to be better communicating on breaking blue gems, but overall I’m liking the new mode

The mode seems good but the event as a whole sux. Sux bad. A whole hell of alot of glitches and endless milestones. Mode seems fun but event definatly needs alot of work before launched again

Absolutely shockingly poor event, spend 10 mins trying to swipe blue gems that aren't appearing just so you can try to cause damage but then the game freezes/crashes before you can complete. 1 min time limit is terrible too, but b the time the game catches up the timer is down to 50-55 seconds and it's almost impossible to get 3 moves off in the time so you run the risk of not being able to maximise the moves and cause critical damage as the game will cut you off, and worst of all I will be losing out on valuable showdown coins for this absolute show, and all the while scopely making the event impossible to max without remortgaging your house, the quicker this event is removed the better we'll all be

Pure lag and non stop glitching. Could potentially be fun if not for that. Also level 9-10 is purely impossible, might want to tweak that. Animations also take too long

sorry but the faction boss contest is the last snot and can be removed again and as far as I am concerned, put in the ShowDown mode today and for it, thank you.

To be honest this isn't a bad mode when it's working. It's quite fun and unique mode to play. The cons are the limitation of superstars on certain like focused, aggressive, chaotic, defensive. Certain classes have weak people in those areas. So gaining points isn't as easy for some as others. I know it's in beta and bugs ect will be fixed going forward. But just hope doesn't stay in the focused, aggressive, chaotic, defensive type of classification. I think Eras or even regular classes would make it more enjoyable for most. Maybe even put in a restriction like sometimes feud perks give. Either way kudos to making a new game mode that brings us out the boring slump that we were in.

Totally immature. In each battle, the game freezes several times. For hours the 10 lobbies are occupied although none of the team plays. Away with it and first create correctly and also not as a substitute for sd or feud but the event can be brought over the week as a side event.

Other than the expected bugs and a few server errors it’s been an enjoyable change of pace. Myself and a lot of my faction have really enjoyed working together to strategise a plan to win.
a few things that may need changing going forward
- Increase the number of lobbies, 10 lobbies of 4 for a 100 member faction means only 40 can play at once.
- Potentially look at health scaling at higher levels. Currently unless you have a few striker Macho mans in the faction you won’t mathematically be able to do enough damage before you’re wiped out by the boss. Macho is currently the only character in the game who can do that kind of damage in 60 seconds.
- Increse the timer from 60 seconds to maybe 90. With move animations taking up time it’s unfair that you lose out on potential damage because your superplex takes 7 seconds longer than an arm drag for example.
obviously this is currently beta so there will be changes and improvements along the way. So far it seems like a solid game mode and refreshing. Will be interesting to see how the boss breakers scale when we can level them up. They could be the difference in being able to beat a level 10 boss without relying on a 5SG striker macho on the squad.

Out of the gate, I really like this. As with most new things, sure there are problems but I like that there's something new, something more interactive, and something else that involves working with your faction mates.
Obviously, the current issues with lobbies is certainly a problem. Since I woke up a few hours ago whenever I check the game my faction is 10/10 on locked lobbies so no one can actually play the game.
Maybe I'm just losing it, but I feel like the breaking the shield isn't going how I would think. Like I was running a round with Drip Drip with the snowfall setup, and despite the fact that I was creating/breaking some 30-odd blue gems, I wasn't seeing that amount being taken away from the shield. I like the idea of having a color to focus on and deplete to keep going but the mechanics behind it seem a little funky.
Also maybe I'm just a masochist, but it would be nice to have some sort of grindable element to incentivize continued playing. I feel like right now it's pretty easy to win one with every archetype at level 7 or 8 or what have you and then you've just kind of hit a wall. Sure, there's the element of continuing to play to help potential other faction mates hit their marks but in theory that's a pretty finite amount. Maybe I'm just mentally used to the Feud warscore boards, but it'd be fun (IMO) to be able to get maybe some sort of credit for winning a match with your faction to keep progressing.
Early on I definitely had some server issues, but I don't see that as being a fault of the game mode or anything like that.
I dunno, I think my main thing is trying to figure out more of the mechanics behind working on breaking the shield and maybe something to keep people playing rather than where I'm at where I feel like I'm almost hit the apex of what I can do with my roster so now I almost just feel like I have a Saturday free. I will say I am very intrigued/exciting at seeing the idea of how boss breaker abilities scale up and can really modify how your teams can operate over time.
I feel like many people are just going to come in and complain about arbitrary things, and while the beta is far from perfect, I personally love the idea of what this is trying to do and certainly wanting to see more.

I think it’s a fantastic concept that could use a little tweaking. One big addition that I would like to see would be the addition of a friends list that goes beyond your faction, and the ability to invite those friends into a battle in the global lobby. I’m sure you are aware that there is tons of community interaction outside of factions and a few of us were disappointed that we couldn’t play together because we were in 4 separate factions.
Other than that I would like to see some changes made that make it a bit more user friendly. A better how to guide would be nice. Even if it is in the form of a blog post; something explaining every aspect of it in detail would be nice.
As for the bugs and lag, it’s Beta, that is literally the purpose of Beta testing, to work out kinks like this, so I don’t have much of an issue with it.
Also going forward, I think that 48 hours is way too long of a time frame to have play open in its current structure. I’m sure that there are changes to that incoming, I just wanted to mention that either the time frame should be shortened or the game play/rewards should be more expansive.
All in all, I really like this concept and am excited to see how it evolves from here

I for actually enjoy the concept and could see it been great fun
So things I would like to see.
In this event (not 2021 but boss battle) blue gems should have an increased chance of spawning, I've gone 3 or 4 swipes without seeing one.
Connection errors when started shouldn't boot your team mates. Me and a team mate had to defeat a level 8 boss becusee the other 2 timed out on start up.
In respect to the event (this will be on topic) make it easier to see where points can be found and mwybe make it so every battle counts other wise people will get there points and not bother to battle.
I love the fact there is no health pack usage as this would have killed the game mode.
Love the team strategy that is needed in levels 6 and above.
Overall I can see this been a success if you build upon a good start

I dont like this new part of the game. 3 or more players vs npc should be nice but not like this way. Maybe more like showdown vs npc. To much lag. All the time reload. Timer run but moves not possible. This should die

Honestly people are being way to harsh on something that is in beta. This was the first big server test for the event. I liked and enjoyed the concept but it was buggy. I had some matches were matching gems of the correct color wouldn’t charge my moves at all and other where I would match three tiles and the computer read it as not a match. Lag was expected and probably mentioned plenty. King macho power gems seem to be an easy mode for doing huge damage in the latter turns. I was disappointed that the event didn’t have some sort of grindable points and incentive to help lower faction mates get points. And learn the ins and outs of the mode. Hopefully after this first run we are able to level up some of the boss breakers. The boss breaker animations were also a little unknown on the time they would take. The countdown gem tick down was nice but gem boost moves would get a wasted turn and an extra pause animation while it ticked twice. I think that’s all I have witnessed on the first night. Keep up the good work.

I'd like to see a ranking system at the end of a boss battle that tells us what each player contributed through the whole battle and rankings first to last.
Also more replay value added by let us grind levels repeatedly and earning rewards, not just beat lvl 6 one time with 4 different classes and move on to lvl 7 rinse and repeat

Like every other time you add something new, it is buggy, glitchy, and doesn’t work properly
How about instead of adding something new… how about working on things players are asking for… like better stability in matches and another round of inventory cleaning

The event concept is solid: takes the team up and beat a boss concept to the next level. I think the biggest issue was team construction it felt like there were only a few superstars who were a must in this version of the game mode.
- having boss breaker abilities was great but needed a better way to get them involved
- the reward system wasn’t great but I assume it’s because it’s a beta
- no HP loss is a big plus and should be kept.
- a LT tour to gain currency to upgrade boss breaker abilities would be nice (I’m sure there are also those who would pay for the currency) again understanding it a beta
- id be interested to see how the event would flow if you locked it so no one could duplicate superstars. So each person would have to be chaotic, defensive etc.
i appreciate new things and making the game less stale thanks for not blowing it

The most fun I have had in this game in a long time, perfect mix of strategy , teamwork , and laughs.
The endless sandbox capabilities of the mode are a big plus. Give me creative control so I can moix the perfect amount of fun and strategy!
Like any Beta there is room for improvements
- Give leader a choice to kick invading faction mates or private invite only lobbies
- - Can we get lobby's for feud?
- Give knocked out teammates something more entertaining to look out
- Show optimal join lobbies based on server location (red yellow green)
I love this mode and my faction had a blast, can't wait for the finished product. Well Done!

I love the concept but glitches have ruined it. A change should be made to where you can't even join a higher level if you haven't completed the lower one first. So basically you have to complete each level in order to progress. So you can't get to level 2 until you've completed level one and so on.

A very monotonous gameplay, it gets boring, rewards difficult to reach if you don't spend money, many bugs in one place. I personally don't like it even if they correct the bugs.

I stayed up hours past my normal bedtime.
I helped faction mates I have never even spoken to before.
I made new friends.
I laughed so much in voice chat it hurt.
Games should be fun and this mode has it in spades.
Is it perfect yet, are there bugs, could it use tweaks, sure but its beta and the core game play is there I'm not here to talk about rewards or other stuff as that has nothing to do with the game mode.
- Better stability
- After match scoring. Info like how many blue gems I broken during the shield or damage done.
- More lobbies
- Private lobbies that are invite only
- Easier access to faction boss for people in lower ranked factions
- crack in the shield currently isn't working
- some moves like countdown gem damage where bypassing shield
- it looks like scoring for the faction mate bonus isn't working if they die and no way of gaining those points after
- Personally Id love to be able to invite non faction mate friends to my lobby just to play with them.
In Summary I LOVE THIS MODE! Please continue to develop it expand it and make it better.
Easily my new favorite mode in the game and the first time since invasion i feel like im actually working with my faction mates on something

This was fun for about an hour, then it got very disappointing.
- Lobby jamming up is terrible
- So many repeated connection issues, clearly problems with the servers
- 60 second time limit per turn is not enough. You're losing 10-20% of that every time just with synch issues
- Rewards tied to the event are terrible.
I get that this is Beta, and I'm sure that once the kinks are worked out it will be a lot better. It's still a terrible experience first time around. Next time don't kill off a stable working weekend event for this. Do it mid week.

I actually liked the breaking up of SD/Feud cycle. That can get monotonous to me. Putting the stability issues and the poor event aside, I can say figuring out strategy and interacting with my faction mates in a different capacity was fun and didn’t get stale. Onwards and upwards to me
