I’m NOT sorry as this is just a copy and paste from a previous event as my constructive ‘criticism’ covers more than just this ONE event-
This is from one of your prior blog posts: “We’re putting the spotlight back where it belongs: on fun, fairness, and strategic domination. Your feedback drives our decisions.” Why do you keep asking for constructive criticism for every single event? You RARELY listen to the players as all you do is mostly copy and paste the same events (from previous showdowns, faction feuds, boss battles) with their same old bugs and technical issues which the only difference is changing the bonus superstars needed and the name
First of all, this company seriously needs to purge out the QA department as they don’t even know what they are doing… oh wait, this game doesn’t have a QA department as it seems like with every single event, something is broken or not working correctly. This game has got to be the game I’ve seen with the most technical issues EVER!
I know this is a business but please, Please… PLEASE!!!! leave the 100% pay to lose (as I don’t think it’s pay to win as the odds are of getting anything good for any pulls- paid or not are worse than winner the lottery) events OUT of the game!!! If the players want to spend, it should because we want to and not because of Fear Of Missing Out tactics.
Pleases don’t make tasks so massive grinds. sometimes I feel this game can sometimes be a second job, which is the opposite of what a game is supposed to be. A prime examples is Showdown events of deal an over inflated number of damage with a worthless wrestler/faction (50k damage or more) for just ONE point in an event!
For all events- Can you please put something in that a player needs to put some effort into faction events to be able to access milestones in that event. It is annoying that there are countless times that I see people who don’t put any work in and yet they get all the rewards.
Talent Ups- Why are there no points for spending Icons of Wrestlemania or Golden Hall of Fame tokens? Also, you shouldn’t have tasks of increasing Talent of X class/era/faction OUT of other events as that’s draining resources of players and making us having to pick and chose on who to use for Talent Up events.
For feuds: FIX THE F’ING MATCHMAKING!!! I have lost count of how many times I get matched with someone having 3 30k talent opponent when I have 4 22.5k talent people and I can’t do a damn thing because I’m fighting an overpowered opponent due to the flipping crappy matchmaking. Just make it be based on a persons average not but the total sum. Also, provide more than just one opening for 2 players. It gets annoying to be matched with someone with two to three times more talent that just don’t want to wait so I get shafted being teamed up with an overpowered ally and have more options can be choose more on who to team up with instead of praying for someone not going balls to the wall.
Please put a cap (90% maximum) on Gem and Move Offense & Defense from medals and belts on anything player versus player as it gets really annoying seeing setups that can kill AI opponents with ease in tours and blitzes that get EXTREMELY nerfed in Showdown and Feuds because someone’s bloody RNG luck was better. I faced opponents with around 100% up to close to 300%+ gem and move defense and I am losing matches because of that those overpowered defense, HOW IN THE WIDE WORLD OF WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS IS THAT REMOTELY EVEN FAIR!?!?! Oh… and to all those who say “just configure your character better”, I do the best I can with what the game’s RNG does for me and I still get shafted up the glutes so stuck it in your ear with the “get good” comments. It’s not balanced, it’s totally unfair to players who are unlucky like me and to any player I see who has a character in showdowns and fued built with gem/move defense that high, I wish I could message them and say ‘Go F Yourself’. Also, please give the AI random medals in stead of the best stuff because it gets really annoying seeing them with top stuff while I’m dealing with trash due to RNG BS.
For Showdowns- Please make the per battle wins seem more worth the time. Example: the Midweek Showdowns, it doesn’t matter if players are in the NXT Division or the Undisputed Champion Division, a victory is worth JUST 55 evo tokens… kinda lame for those in higher divisions. Also, just 200 showdown coins for a regular showdown win, regardless which division is kinda lame too. Showdown battles in higher divisions take longer so it the rewards should reflect that.
This is for feuds and blitzes- is there anyway to have a ‘Clear Roster’ button as I hate having to do a juggling act of trying to clear out which characters I want to use when a simple button to clear out what I was using so I can redo what I want to use would help immensely.
For Boss Battles- PLEASE disable the move animations in this mode as time is limited per turn and they eat up so much time. Also, please reduce bosses health as battles aren’t supposed to be slogs due to insanely high health on the bosses and janky mechanics… and please give us SOMETHING when players try and fail to beat the boss as nothing irks me more than spending minutes to get NOTHING when the boss defeats the players.
Please lay off the steel cage rules as I swear it’s on every single event and it’s not even creative, it’s just straight up Grade A Laziness! Also, if there’s a limitation for players, PUT IT ON THE AI AS WELL!!! I think it’s complete bs that players can’t use some combination of belts, medals, trainers, or entourage BUT THE AI DOESNT HAVE THE SAME RESTRICTIONS… SERIOUSLY WTMFH?!?!?! I bet the players can come up with something WAY better than your ignorant developers can come up with.
Can you also run recycling opportunities more often as even after the last recycling event, my inventory is still filled with junk that’s from years ago. I would think clearing out all that useless junk would help the game run smoother… but what do I know as I’m not a programmer or developer… or better yet, transform the items after an event is over into coins, tokens, or something that isn’t taking up space in player’s inventories.
How about when someone wants to quit a match, give us the option right away and not when it’s just our turn. I hate it when I’m stuck in a stun lock for over multiple turns and have to wait til I get pinned due to the pin bar taking ages to get there.
Someone please explain to me why when a screwup by your guys that when the player base is benefited by your boneheadedness it gets fixed immediately and anything that helps the company bottom line, it takes slower than a slug sliding through salt?
CAN YOU PLEASE POST THE BLOG POST FOR THE EVENTS ON YOUR BLOG AT THE SAME TIME AS YOU HAVE SOMEONE OVERANALYZING IT AND DRAGGING IT ON FOR AGES ON TWITCH BY TAKE FIVE TIMES AS LONG TO READ THE SAME M’FING THING WHEN I CAN!!!!
Also, please post on the blog for EVERY event as I hate seeing these mid-week events and get NOTHING in the blog saying about them which makes me think it’s just going to be a pay to lose event that is used to line your profits even more
Do I think this will change ANYTHING? Not really as these issues are constantly there and not going. I enjoy most parts of the game but it’s these constant little BS things and Scopely rarely willing to listen to the player base wants that makes me not recommend this game to ANYONE if I was asked.
I would love it for these braindead developers to play one full week with an average roster and realize how much of all these things I am giving constructive criticism about pisses off most of the player base.
Then again, this list hasn’t gotten smaller but keeps on getting bigger… so in my eyes, Scopely is just shining our criticisms nice and good, turn it sideways, and sticking it straight up the players ;) you get the idea

I loved the bracket idea at first but after a few weeks of it here is my input.
1: It does add a little excitement battling folks in a bracket instead of chasing the same 10 people on the leaderboards.
2: Matching does seem pretty on par and they do require some strategy of who you are attacking to get the most points you can.
3: I'm in level 24 and the payout is decent if you win. However, this is very much a battle of wallets to get that moment. Let's not sell it as you are battling your bracket, when in reality, you are battling your brackets wallets.
4: Please adjust the CSS limits for SD. Who really is going to have role model bayley (prev SD) high enough to do the limits quickly and not waste energy doing it. Can't wait for RoadDog and SB Richter to be the damage CSS in the future.
5: Even though I pulled Becky 6* Tuesday, I don't think it was fair, y'all gave people who pulled her 12 extra energy for the bracket moment SD
6: Lower brackets (less than the 23-24) deserve some kind of decent reward for winning their brackets. They only get event points and no pulls at all. Meanwhile the top 5 get pulls in the 23-24 bracket. At least give them something to really play for in the lower brackets. Giving them a third of the 5th place finisher in my bracket, doesnt really seem fair.
Off topic of SD, would it kill y'all to add a remove button to the feud roster so you can remove someone easier than the creative way we have to do now.
The brackets are still fun but they do need a little tweaking to be great.

Showdown has become unbearable. The constant stun loops and 200% gem defense. If you don't 1 turn someone you lose. That simple. Aweful.
It makes it extremely hard to do the tasks like break cross gems. I literally can't because I get I shorted because I have to use superstars that aren't 1 turn monsters.
I may have to start skipping showdown weekend. I am just not having fun.
Like I'm open to adding more difficulty to the game but I just find this mode to be extremely annoying rather than difficult

I like the bracket rewards.
Don’t like:
The rewards weren’t good in prizewall.
Not enough energy to compete.I focused on winning more than finishing task and still came in fifth in bracket and still missed gold reward in contest.
I usually don’t post here but this contest seemed very unfun me and I’ve been playing over nine years.I’m excited for the new things coming but this showdown event worries about the future of showdown as it hasn’t gotten better in a few weekends for me and I’ve used all energy I could earn.

Wow, this Event was next level. On a negative base.
Moment for the top 1, of course you want to sell the energy. But giving a extra tour with energy for only if you have Becky? Wtf? You dont have any Chance to be no 1 without her.
Pricewall. I have 6700 plus 1000 coming from faction event. What can I get? Nothing.
SD tasks. How should anybody come close without spending? I was just missing new Becky (and Mommy) and I was miles away.

hello wwe champions team Showdown game now is good your showdown game changes is dame good now sd is very interesting to play i come back game in 5 months beacouse of your changes. I thought that showdown is about to equal but bcz of some reasons right now not equally. I would like to share those reasons. Bcz of top card leaderboard reward showdown bracket is much good but there have been some mismatches.
1.) Between 8 million roasters players thay have 12-15 million players on their brackets
2.) if energies have been available in store they should not be available in cheapest price .energies should be available in store at expensive price
3.)just bcz of energies availability in cheap price there is clearly everyone can purchase it and easily unbeatable for free to player and minimum spender unable to perform
4.) weekend showdown extra energies only available on weekend showdown tour superstars launch
5.)midweek showdown extra energies should available on tours required premium css to get extra energies in mid week showdown
6.) no energies available in stores at cheap prices then everyone able to complete equally and bracket players must be or same power
7.) notoriety milestones need to be increased common rewards in (3500) notoriety is good but what about 10k 20k 35k there could be something to increase the intrest to get high notoriety
8.)bracket reward and notoriety reward should become more rewarding and interesting
9.)top card leaderboard reward is more interesting if reward is flexibleExample:- some time put moments ,loot coins, affiliation straps, skill plates,tier 6 medals, superstars gears. If company putting on top card leaderboard reward according to leagues
Everytime if top card leaderboard reward is different then showdown is not predictable
I think these changes can make showdown equal,unpredictable,interesting, reward full and every low to high player can get something and compete with their skills
I thought that they changes make showdown next level and fair for spending players and non-spending players and some spending players

The game had been going in a positive direction recently but this weekend event was a bit lacklustre considering the fact that there were too much to do with nothing much to offer in terms of rewards. The medallion rewards are either too overpriced or not really worth the effort.
Secondly, thes showdown individual tasks and the faction tasks were asynchronous which was a bit let down for me. I would assume there should be synergy for the gem destroy for both the individual and faction tasks which would have made it more enjoyable.
Also maybe the top 3 in each pool should have had the evolution moment as opposed to just the top 1 as this would have made it more interesting.

The sd brackets are appealing in the fact that it gives you a Coshocton to do well against a small group instead of global sd. The brackets make more sense if they were based off earning sd energy through tours. Give the chance to earn more energy in sd through milestones. Don't keep making it where the people with less money don't have the chance to do well

I've been playing since the beginning, and unfortunately all your changes seem to be designed to grab money. There is almost no chance of getting the spotlighed superstar. Now I have to buy energy to advance for a minimal chance to win anything. The prize walls are impossible to get the big prizes without making a purchase.
Sofar not impressed with the changes.

The new SD event with those brackets is awesome.
My only negative point is, why having 2 other members of my faction in my bracket, i think there are more than enough player to have only 1 member of each team in a bracket.
And if not then simply make brackets with different number of peoples or size it down.

I like the idea of brackets but for people in Europe the finish time means, unless we don't sleep we will never top our bracket as it finishes 1am. So I missed the last 3 hours as was sleeping. Think you should just let it be for 24hours like showdown use to be.

The bracket idea for showdown has been a great addition overall. The amount of energy this time was overall much better compared to prior showdowns with this new format. The negative of this contest was the prizewall and the amount of medallions that were available for even free to play. I feel like the usual concept of FTP players being able to get something decent on each prize wall if they play everything and hit the max free milestone. This was not the case with this event. The medallions were too far and few between and the prizes on the wall were only good if you spent. This was a sad downgrade overall for these showdowns and hope this changes in the future to some of the prior showdowns that had really good prize wall items and the amount of medallion availablitiy.

I have overall enjoyed the smaller arena for SD, and the various ways to earn points. It's no longer as random, and does very much allow for more strategy play. It also forces us to really think about who we are using, and who we partner them with to utilize all of the abilities/boosts available. Further, the model forces people to think about their stip trainers, and how they move a person up the ranks.
However, to be toward or at the top, it comes down to opening one's wallet to buy energy. I get it, you need to make money on the game; but if I work up everything else, there is still no way one ends up at the top, or even top few, without throwing money at the event. That part is rather disappointing.

First of all I like this new showdown concept we can earn loot coins, contest points and moments with our strategies
Only problem is we need only 24 hours showdown not 27 or 28 hours showdown because in India it's ends at 3:30 am we cannot manage to stay awake and play this at that time please consider this as a problem and try to fix it

The brackets for Showdown, to me, actually give reason to care about Showdown. Before it seemed like and endless loop of playing but never any benefit from it. This at least rewards me and helps me in the contest.
Showdown itself needs some changes. Even with the “upgrades” it feels just like it as always been. Nothing new with straight to 6SG that you can’t beat with any of the lower level contest stars to get points. At least on the weekends you earn energy faster because I normally give up on the CSS and just push for notoriety instead to go up the leaderboard. It shouldn’t be that way though where I give up on css.
The biggest issue lately are the prize walls. Barely and medallions are given out unless you want to spend a bunch of money. That’s not fair to anyone except those who have unlimited wallets. At least offer some older characters at 6SB for lower medallions. I don’t care if it’s the first Rock that came out. It’s at least something.
Lastly, for being a Becky showdown, there wasn’t much of Becky to earn. I know her shards are being earned through the month, but there are other Becky’s in the game we could have earned stuff for. The only other Becky pulled out was the MOtU one which has been locked up forever. The only way you could get her was more medallions that what a free player can earn or getting lucky when spending money on loot. The mess weekends should have a little more of that character it there are multiple versions of it.
please do something that brings excitement back to these contests.0 -
Generally speaking, I like the changes to showdown. The incentive to do well in your bracket is a nice addition.
I think for this Showdown event in particular, I would have given more options for the prize wall. As it was fairly difficult to get a meaningful amount of currency and the options in the store is lacking. I like that there is something to do on Friday even if you don't get the event character. I would like to see more things to do on Fridays and Sundays for events.

2 totally opposite requirements for Faction SD Event. Should we play with SD Points Promoters or SD Coins Promoters. Should we play for Faction tasks that give Solo points or Solo tasks to have Solo wins. Unbalanced fully and gives much advantage to people who would spend a lot of money to get more extra energy cans. Our skills in using Superstars unfortunately are not priority here...

This event felt broken in terms of requirements to get to the gold rewards. I think it was due to a more challenging showdown system.
The showdown system is great, but with T6 strap medals taking move or gem damage down to effectively 0, the game has just become who can score the first pin.0 -
I love the idea of brackets. I think it's great to face off against a small amount of people instead of the entire community where you will never reach the top without spending. That said, even with the brackets, there is no way you will even get to the number 1 spot unless you are willing to spend. Those with unlimited cash will ALWAYS be your winner every SD. I get it, this is a game and business for Scopely but the idea was awesome, the limitations you are at without spending money, not so much. I went to sleep in 1st place and woke up on 5th. The person in 1st place had 20K more points than me and that doesn't happen without spending as the energy wont regenerate fast enough to get that amount of points. You have a loyal fan base, please also consider those that doesn't have endless money to just spend spend spend. Again, I'll end by saying, I LOVE the way the new SD is set up. It just needs some tweaks to keep it fair.

The whole idea of the new format is really good, I love just competing in small groups but the rewards for it and how long it takes to refresh cans is awful, id like to see it where we just face people in the mini leagues we're in so u have better control of the outcome in the small groups, even if you raise the amount of people in each group to 50 to make it more competitive.
Over all the whole weekend feels like a waste knowing that all the hard work of getting to number 1 spot was wiped out by some1 using their credit card to get last minute matches to snatch it away.
The prizewall rewards are as always well out of reach to get anything worth having as more time was spent holding on to the top spot then actually chasing the milestones

Really like the new bracket system and individual rewards for the bracket final positions. Happy for this to continue but don't flood the game with Showdowns. Been there, done that, didn't like it then, won't like it now.
However the contest this weekend suffered from a lack of balance. Asking players to juggle breaking specific gems for the faction contest, breaking different specific gems for the solo contest AND trying to climb the notoriety leaderboard is too much.
The prize wall was bad this weekend - too few medallions were available without spending, what was on the prize wall was far too expensive and not as much choice as previous prize walls. One example was PH Becky - priced way too high for such an old poster.0 -

Just the showdown, but can be more generally applied.
I would like to update trainer and coach system so that I can search trainers and coaches.
It always take too much time to find a trainer/coach needed by scrolling over one by one.
So please make trainers and coaches searchable.
For example, if I need trainers and coaches who are related to “trap gems”,Simple search “trap gem” just like the way when we search a superstar by his/her name, all the trainers and coaches who are related to trap gem would filtered and shown.
It will dramatically shorten equipping trainers and coaches and will surely improve the game Experience.

Love this bracket idea and good for some f2P so he can achieve good rank and increase their roster capabilities but scopely need to fair about the energies so people can do fair sd match and rank should be fair for all bracket player overall sd was good

What i enjoyed.
- I really enjoy the new SD format of only competing against 20-30 others which improves rewards.
- I think the css were a good mix of rare to very rare cards.
- The faction contest rewards and scaling were well thought out.
- The tours were enjoyable and rewarding.
What I disliked
- There is no way to win #1 without spending. I realize this isn't a new thing but remains frustrating.
- The prize wall is weak. As a 13mil roster with 8000 tokens I will just be buying some resources I guess.
- Power balance is way off with the medals. I realize with some new systems coming this may improve but as of now it is another point of contention.
Summary
Great event overall, some things to work on for sure. Would be nice to see some mid tier rewards for us non whale non newbies.

Need to add more "The Road" tours, fix the rewards for stipulation tours/promoters, add more frequent recycling of the unused inventory and unlock characters that are stuck behind pay walls.
"The Road" tours - These are great ways for players to restock on their TP and tokens, new and old. However, once you finish them, you don't look back. We have been waiting for at least a week 2 of the Backlash tour. If they can be updated or add more weeks more often, then it would bring additional fun to the game.
Stipulation tours/promoters - I'm going to lump these together as they kind of coincide with each other. In my opinion, these tours are boring. The rewards are not worth the trouble and they are way too expensive. 10 shards for a character doesn't do anything for anyone, especially when it costs 4 mil tokens to get it. If the rewards were worth it, it would be a welcomed game mode. That brings me to the promoters. It takes way too long to unlock these characters, for all modes, and costs way too much to unlock them. The promoters that are locked behind a paywall for membership is completely not fair ftp players. They help you gain coins faster which would help players but only the rich get richer.
Recycling - This needs to happen a lot more frequently. We all have way too much unused inventory. Would be nice to possibly have a system where we can do this on our own instead of waiting for it to happen.

The event was good happy to see bracket system in Weekend SD. My only concern was solo points given for the weekend were very low

This showdown format is a welcomed change. Different brackets give more players chances at top price and solo points. My only gripe was the weekend prizewall was rather lackluster.

el evento está bien pero la dificultad subió lo que hace q no sea posible alcanzar los hitos como antes y eso hace complicado seguír jugando cuando sabes q no lo alcanzarás solo que gastes una cantidad considerable de dinero para el progreso y eso no está en la posibilidad de la mayoría lo cual es una competencia dispareja y de nota q solo quien pueda gastar sea quien gane los premios lo cuál divide el juego para 2 tipos de jugadores los que gastan y los que no

the event details are hard to comment on. They are overshadowed by the fact that now not only do we have to pay for the regular characters every month but we also now have to pay for all of the “free” characters every month. Starting at tre beginning we have to do $300 in pulls to get the monthly giveaway character at a level we can use throughout the month. And new we have to pay hundreds for the second free character but still not be able to recruit them and it’s all a big slap in the face. So who knows if your event was any good. No one could play it anyway.

The new format of the event is improving a lot, but I found the prizes to be much lower than normal, which makes the event a little demotivating.
