    SScopely only want dollar 💰

If I win please give to someone who needs Becky randomly.

    Feedback time:

Concept for the Showdown with chasing the moment was a tough contest.  It does put whales at an advantage though.  There might be ways to tweak this and put limited energy in the store.

Also, I ran into the issue of buying too many energy. Here is what happened: I purchased the same item over and over again and I was flagged for a potential stolen card. (It was my card). The problem is it asked for a temporary credit amount under $2 to say the exact amount.  My bank won’t show those on the weekend. So I was Out of luck so to speak on any more purchases when if I wanted to make more.

Fix: make more energy level purchases but maybe limit if you want to set limits.

Examples only for energy costs to avoid card feeeze from purchasing same item too many times.

    $5 5

    $10 12

    $20 30

    $50 75

    $100 175

CSS wasn’t too difficult but I felt like the damage of Nia and lyra took a while for some reason. I’m not sure if the math wasn’t calculated but it took about 5 energy each.  Normally 2-3 energy costs to complete the CSS.

I see the 100% health, gem defense and 150% gem damage straps come in handy.  But maybe offer 150% Gem defense, and 150% health straps for stars as well. It would even the playing field for defense.  The health and gem def did help tiffy and Chelsea slow down matches.  Only 1 person had a really strong tiffy.

The matching in the three choices of showdown needs minor correcting.  It was random but even at 1st place I wanted to find someone in top 10 to push down and I couldn’t. So this ultimately made me lose 1st place from overall but I still got 1st place in my league.

I like the brackets in SD, makes it feel more competitive. The css requirements were good for this event. I thought prizewall seemed a bit expensive based on the medallions available. I had some technical issues where it would kick me back to the main screen after matches in any mode over the weekend. My biggest complaint was taking the energy out of the milestones and locking it behind a tour requiring the weekend character.

I've enjoyed the brackets as these have been a good change. They give a chance at a good reward for playing the game.

There is a slight lack of fairness with the ability to purchase energy. These would potentially be better utilised in a format where energy wasn't a factor.

I consistently find it difficult with events where solo contest points are locked in faction contests. My faction are currently 128th in the contest but have only achieved 1 milestone. This is quite demoralising. Spreading out the rewards across all milestones would be more helpful, but ideally there wouldn't be solo points in the faction contest.

Prizewall isn't really offering much of value

regarding the NEW WWE Evolution 2025 Moment Token: it’s frustrating to work up the Leaderboard to the number 1 spot only to have big spenders leapfrog over you in the last few hours. It would be nice to see everyone who gets to the top spot at any point during the showdown to receive the moment like a milestone reward.

Brackets for Showdown are a great improvement overall, just doesn’t yet address parity in play vs pay - might as well just sell the moment.

Reading some of the posts I’m not sure I can add too much but here are my major issues. First of all I’m a free to play player who will spend on occasion. Less that $150 a year. First issue is to add in ways to remove skill plates other than the strap up pass. The second thing is the events where you have multiple challenges (break 200 x break gems etc) give us a bonus for that. It is getting more and more difficult since most of the time if you don’t win turn one then you lose. Third and most frustrating is shards. I don’t think I have had the chance to get acro defensive shards for over two months. Not in boss battle shop, not in the hundreds and hundreds of key pulls. Other shards I have a ridiculous amount of. Maybe balance them out.

This event was bad. Plain and simple. Mind you, this is the opinion of someone who was lucky and stumbled into getting the new character, Becky Lynch, prior to the start of this weekend.

    Leaderboard Rewards
Leaderboard rewards are a horrible idea the way you continuously set them up. They always have been, and they always will be. To only reward the highest scoring player is not providing your users with a fair and just platform. The only thing you created here was a bidding war between your players. I'm sure a lot of players are mad because they've probably spent money to get the extra energy needed just to play, but still didn't get the only reward that mattered this weekend simply because they "didn't spend enough".

    General Play
I have no problem with the event in it's most basic form. You lose my support when you limit the "energy", which limits the amount of times a player can play, which directly effects their competitive ability.

    Bracketing System
If my understanding is correct, these brackets are grouped by league. For general play, that is okay, but for more competitive events like this, I would suggest to group them with even more criteria. This turned into just another case of "whomever spends the most can win", so why not create some sort of spending tier (a whale metric, if you will) in the back end and group players accordingly. This would create more fair brackets wherein spenders compete with other spenders at their level (people who spend hundreds of dollars weekly won't compete against those that only spend tens), and the low/no spend players don't just feel that they're being used as punching bags again.

    Milestone Rewards
Very few chase character shards were made available. There weren't as many medallions as should be offered to the players, either. I like the amount of lower tokens I was able to acquire, but that's not enough to satisfy the need to bring characters to the upper echelon of playability.

    Prizewall Rewards
The new leech plates were the big spotlight on the board, but overall it was a very lackluster offering. Mherex made some good points in his prizewall breakdown video.

The overall consensus that I'm seeing on the board is what I feel, too:
You need to reward your players for playing, not paying. And if you make public statements about how you're going to do so (as you did in your news bulletin recently), you actually need to do it.

    What I Liked:

    • Overall I am a very big fan of the new Showdown "Sub Divisions". Chasing top spots in sub group is definitely beneficial to chasing overall leaderboard spots. The RNG nature of them is annoying but not much that can be done about that overall.

    What I didn't like:

    • New Becky to vital to success for Showdown and for a good weekend. Let me first note that since Becky is achieveable through playing the month, I understand the need to inflate the benefits of having her for her weekends contest. I think a constant theme in all feedback this weekend will be that it was too great a benefit.
      • 12 additional SD Energy
      • Exclusive Rewards in Tune Up Showdown
      • Tour Rewards Friday and Sunday
    • Overall Prizewall wise I felt like I did not earn a meaningful amount to give me quality decisions for the prizewall.
    • MOTU Becky I feel should have been much more accessible and should have been 3,900 prizewall points and not 33,900.
    • I would like to see better synergy across Faction Tasks, Solo Tasks, and Showdown Boosts.
    • Personally I am seeing less than 7k prize wall currency. Did all tour CSS, all reasonable SD bonuses, faction maxed the event. Im going to walk away with 1 ultimate affiliation strap and whatever the remaining currency cashes out for. Pretty lackluster prizes in my opinion.

Personally I saw 3 people in my bracket had the new Becky based on who they were using at various times checking the Leaderboard. This made spending on energy (which I wouldn't have done regardless) a non-factor for me and likely anyone else without Becky in my grouping that paid attention knowing they had such a large headstart. The benefits given to those with new Becky this week were too extreme in my opinion. While I typically don't fault spenders getting bonuses this was a bit much. Also I feel really bad for the 2 people with new Becky in my grouping that missed out on the moment and if they were in a majority of other pairings would have had an easy path to the moment.

    Suggestions:

    • Remove the additional tour energy for the A Tier Character (Becky).
    • Make the moment a part of Tour rewards as well as leaderboard (Bad Luck Protection for your spenders)
    • Offer A Tier (Becky) "Viscera style" -I'm guessing in part spending is down for the A Tier release now that they can be earned through the month. Which may be why we saw such extreme bonuses to having Becky early in this event. Offering a guaranteed path to enjoying her and her bonuses this weekend would have made me feel less discouraged with how the weekend mapped out. Given how rewarding it was to have her maybe I would have made my donation.
    • Re-evaluate the Prizewall Pricing/Currency acquistion. I feel with prizewalls players should always feel like they are walking away with something of value, I don't feel that way following this event.

new format was better but rewards was not even close to those before this. Not enough showdown energy to get the bonus superstars so it was not worth trying to compete for top place. If the rewards were better then it would’ve been worth trying for.

    hello there

I Like this game alot and its fun to play the game and new updated Showdown rewards it's fun to collect but in ranking reward system it bad total bad because of players who can spend money in game get top ranking esely people who not spending money or less spending money can't compete with them

I Have a opinion why don't you make 2 different SD options people cant select which one they wanna join

    1. For those people who spend money can compete with each other for rewards and
    2. For those who play without spending money can compete for ranking reward

I hope you guys can make a little bit balance in game and in SD rankings system. Not everyone can spend lot of money in game .

    Thank you

My experience in this weekend’s event was positive. I enjoy the new, smaller brackets. I never came close to finishing 1st in Showdown before, and it’s fun to have of a chance to do that now. That means lot more people getting a chance to win the moment which was great.

My constructive criticism would be to make the font larger in game. When trying to look at opponents move descriptions the font size can be ridiculously small when there’s a lot of it. See attached example. This is my same complaint for feud when speed is important. Very difficult to read that text some times. Feel like I need to have a magnifying glass like my grandma reading the newspaper!

    IMG_1885.jpeg

Also, when selecting entourage, it won’t always show all a trainer or coach’s ability if they have more than two. Please solve this as it makes it difficult to tell what to choose at times. For example, new Hall of Fame superstars give a gem damage bonus, health bonus, kick out bonus and +2 mp, but when searching for entourage it only shows the gem damage and health ability.

    Cheers!

While change is often good, it had made my favourite game mode a little depressing. While I get there is money to be made, it was easy to spot i had no chance of getting 1st without spending, so ultimately didn't as I knew it wouldn't benefit me.

There needs to be some way to differentiate those spenders from non somehow, this would at least not disappoint when for me timezones also come into play - its definitely a last minute dash to the line which I can't follow and don't want to be disappointed in not getting first.

    Rewards this weekend were poor

Energy being put into Friday tours was daft especially if you didn't have becky for the earlier showdown.

Intrigued with the new hype stuff coming, and have enjoyed the Rewards we could have got frok speed tours (although multiple dupes for this week!)

Been enjoying the new addition of the brackets for Showdown. Definitely brings a bit more strategy into the game and also rewards players who want to spend time in the game with very generous rewards. Curious whether this can somehow be transferred into a feud - where you face people with similar roster sizes as opposed to what people feel like putting up their feud lineups. Unsure if that is possible. Then people might stop complaining about being outmatched even though I know some people outmatches themselves by putting too many characters up in the feud mode…

Also been loving the new additions over the last couple of months - particularly in having these daily speed things. Although I am mainly getting shards - don’t really care cos I just love the opportunity to get new superstars just by playing the game.

Also been loving the artworks of particularly el grande and mccool.

Would love to see the opportunity to gain shards to assist evolve characters we receive in the game. This could be incorporated into the weekly battles in the game from the stars you gain through the month…

Also wondering whether there are plans to gain more tour matches in the future.

For this particular event I found the faction part relied heavily on people in your feud having Becky and as shards for Becky being few and far between it would rely on people spending and getting lucky. Ultimately, definitely prefer faction events which has multiple ways of being successful in achieving as a faction. In saying that, thank you for the weekend

After returning to the game from a long layoff I really enjoyed the bracket aspect of the Showdown leagues, adds some competition to the event although I believe that you should still have unlimited battles rather than having to wait on Showdown energy so you need to properly grind for 1st place rather than buying energy.

The tours and tour requirements were well thought and I was able to complete them with required characters even after a long time away so that was quite fun

Prizewall was very disappointing, pretty much anything worthwhile was out of reach, I would much prefer in future that more things are obtainable on the prizewall, it's useless having so much stuff paywalled on the prizewall.

Overall I thought it was a very good event, prizewall being modified would have been the main thing to make this event better

I love the showdowns the only criticism I have is about how long it takes to refill the energy it takes way to long and I understand you have to make money but maybe shorten the time to refill the energy or give us more energy to start or ways to earn more energy in the tours you don’t have to go overboard but I don’t think. 12 is enough and the. You wait almost a day to get all your energy refilled love the game it is always fun. And you come up with great ideas to keep the game fresh. The only other thing is but it’s off subject but could we please update the chest in the daily rewards give us some fresh shards so we can get new characters we don’t have.

I like bracketed showdowns, I know people have mixed opinions on it but it gives people a fighting chance over the the top 100 global leaderboard. My main gripe from this showdown is that the solo points almost felt meaningless, and with the evolution moment only being for 1st place it almost felt like it's 1st or bust. Can we get more meaningful solo point rewards or some alternative like prizewall medallions? Similar to how the midweek showdown has a range of loot coins for 1st-4th.

Speaking of prizewall medallions, there felt like a distinct lack of these with very little to shoot for for the effort put in. It feels like there needs to be a way to earn more of these even hitting some bonus milestones the best I could get was some trish shards and that's it. Maybe some medallions can come from the showdown in the future?

Aside from that, everything else feels as standard with tours, faction competition etc being fine.

I can echo other sentiments previously posted:

The event was designed as an auction among whales; no reason for the rest of us to bother with low rewards and a lackluster prize wall for anyone with fewer than 15K medallions (which also required copious spending to attain).

The objective was bleeding the whales - anyone else didn’t get much for their time regardless of effort.

Every Showdown defensive team I face is 6G. Not every CSS that I have is 6G. I wish there was a way to either limit the relative power of the team that you are facing depending on the strength of your own units. Otherwise it’s always whoever I have against one of a dozen of the best characters always at 6G.

I realize that this would be an issue with defensive wins and losses but… come on, why do we ever lose points because a 1-turn wonder reduced us to dust (and we were being controlled by the AI, which is its own long-standing issue)? It seems to be an RNG tax, kicking us if a high-powered player chooses us as an opponent and annihilating us before we have a chance to go. I would know - I have a 6G Hip Hop Cena with all the trimmings (125 million round 1 against just about anybody) so I cause an untold amount of lost notoriety without any way to prevent it. Not sure the point of a mechanic with no means of avoiding fail states.

Like everyone else, I suggest the following:

    - make individual milestones, especially those near the end of a reasonable F2P run, contain more / better rewards. I’m not being short-sighted or greedy - the goal should be encouraging play and lousy rewards everywhere but the tippy-top can only have a detrimental impact on general player morale.

    - please determine and implement a way to keep every single showdown I see from being walled off behind top-tier 6G behemoths. Not so fun to smack my head against that wall with CSS (or lose the contest by winning matches with my own titans).

    - I’ll also echo the earlier sentiment: please make less depend on having the chase character or have a way to simply acquire them. I did a few mega pulls because I’m like that and am still a few hundred shards short. If you’re going to make so much ride on them, they should either be easier to attain or simply given away at 2B as others have before - instead of being inactive and frustrated, the players would instead be finding ways to max out her effectiveness while slowly building her up. I know you’re doing something similar with HoF Lex - it’s effective and should be implemented any time there are so many benefits for having a given chase character.

All in all, I used every drop of energy, won a bunch, spent a little, didn’t get first place, and feel that I wasted my effort and money considering all of the little that I have to show for it. Judging from the above (and the sentiments of just about every other player I’ve talked with), the general reaction is one of discouragement and malaise.

This is the kind of deflated response of which to take heed. Narrowed eyes and pursed lips can result in folks sitting on their wallets rather than opening them.

    Milestones:

No PW medallions from milestones 9.5M to 11M is something that probably hasn’t happened in a long time. Typically, getting a good rank in SD leaderboards allowed you to hit the first few bonus milestones containing a fair amount of medallions. But now even if you get Rank 1 in the main SD, the 700k points are not getting you anything besides e-con. Its a fair tradeoff for rank 1 holders since they will be getting a brand new moment but for others, this SD doesn’t do much. The first bonus milestone having any medallions is 11.3M which is roughly 2M ahead of gold chest. First with feuds and now with weekend SDs- seems like an effort is being made to cut back on the economy of weekend medallions.

Also, typically rainbow plates cost more than the specific colour ones because of obvious reasons but this time all of them are priced at 15k. Dont know if this is intended or an oversight but its definitely a strange occurrence.

There’s a minimum of 4,500 prizewall cutback through gameplay. That’s at least a 35% cut from normal. It’s a lot and lends to the fact that there’s a deliberate effort to undermine our grind and give us less and less as each contest goes by.

Energies available in the SD contest milestones as well as in the ingame store that you could buy with coins(3M coins=2 energies) were removed this time around. While not impacting experienced players and top factions, there are plenty of players that would utilise those energies for the completion of solo SD and faction SD tasks. This is probably the one of the lowest faction count for maxing the SD faction contest. Not sure how much of this is impacted by the limitation on energy dispersion, but it certainly does not help that a decision was made to take away energy cans that were always there for us to claim from free milestones.

    The Bracket System:

While being good in theory, it suffers from some defects. The actual brackets are not divided in reasonable ways, teaming a player with 6M roster against those with a 12M one. How is that a “fair fight”(advertised in blog)? There should not be such roster disparities.

    The Prizewall:

This has got to be one of the most disappointing prizewalls i have ever come across. Half of the shard options are A tier posters that most of the active players have. The rest of the options are not great either. Not interested in spending $50 or so for 100 Kamala shards as most of the players are far away from him. It’d be nice if SD walls were as good as feud ones.

    Tours:

Giving 12 extra energies to Becky users is straight up garbage and is a huge turn off. I understand that weekend chase usually yields extra bonuses/rewards, but those have never in the past have had an adverse impact or had an a detrimental effect on those who don’t have the said weekend chase. I don’t mind becky users getting to do her tour and get extra medallions as that does not impact and has no bearing on my medallions or rewards. But giving them 12 extra energies makes it more challenging for us to fairly compete for the #1 spot in our brackets. I know there’s an option to buy more energies, but time and money both are limited resources and if they spend as well, they will retain their +12 cans advantage.

Overall, this was a mixed bag. While the bracket system is far more engaging and fun, your heavily monetised and misleading approach dampens the fun and takes away from player experience.

  • I'm not sure how organized my rant is going to be, but I'll try my best to make it an easy read.

The weekend event as a concept is on par to what we as players expect with weekend Showdowns. The Becky tours are a nice gesture to those who scored her already, and I do not have any issues to critique on this front.

However, these energy based l, aucton on and buy first place in the brackets is yet another division between the spending community and free to play community. I understand that making money is your priority after all these years, but making it impossible for a free to player to take down a tournament and get first place is a slap in the face to the FTP Community. I don't expect buying energy to go away, but with the division keep mindful 9f the players who play to play and not pay to play.

The prizewall needs an overhaul. Maybe have the community VOTE on what prizewalls look like for weekend events?! Again an idea to create a sense of the players getting creative control for what they will eventually be throwing money at . This has been an issue of late, and what better way to reward players that spend by giving them what they want

The tours were par for the course, and the CSS throughout the weekend were fair enough for the entire player base.

Lastly, keep in mind while making these changes with game modes that the player base is very diverse. Not everyone is able to throw wads of money at multiple events, EVERY week. There is a fine line where all players can coexist, and not feel like they're alienated and pay walled. Find that medium.

I first liked the idea of a first place finish to an unique reward. I don’t like how this competition turned into a monetized competition by purchasing more energy. I would like to see this turn into a real competition based on skill of setting up thoughtful lineup and people willing to grind.
