Can't play showdown. Crashes every other game

What exactly is not working?
Showdown tournament. Every other match I go to it just says loading forever

Restart phone. Cleared cache. Use wifi. Use mobile data. Nothing.
Any Screenshots or videos of the issue that help us to understand it better?

Have you tried switching one or both characters you're trying to use in showdown? The last time I heard of this issue it was an asset bundle issue tied to a specific character. Clearing data in addition to cache fixed it or using anybody other than that character.

I will try a whole fresh install if you think that will help. I will report back later. Thank you for the assistance

Hello. This issue is still persisting.
Clearing cache. A fresh install. Still happens.
I also don't see how it can be specific characters. I fact a team twice in a row. It works once then crashes the 2nd time.

Crashed 8 times in a row just now. I'm the fool for playing this game.
I understand your position and I dont mean to disrespect in my rantings. But this is nuts.
It doest matter if it's a bug with my account or what. It's a bug which is now my fault and should be fixed one way or another.
I really should just quit the game. Just constant stuff that doesn't work.
I don't own a personal laptop to play this on to test. I have one for work and anything with wwe is blocked. Idk how else to play it.
I appreciate the help with this, but I really really wished it would just work.

The reason I wanted you to try with the portal is because you seem to be the only one with that issue, it is definitely not something that is general to the playerbase so is likely something specifically on your device, that's what testing on the portal would confirm.

Hypothetically if it's my device, what is the next steps to resolve it?
I apologize if I came off as rude earlier. Just kind of got irritated with the game, nothing personal.

I'm no tech support but usually when the device is in problem if clearing cache, data and reinstalling didn't work the next thing left is usually a factory reset of the phone itself
