Missing HOF Bret shards

This is why so many people have dropped the game, stopped spending or just simply lost faith in the game and reduced play time.

its happening so often that people are already talking about the player appreication boxes we will get, what does that say ? these errors are happening far to often and never get fixed. You can only band aid stuff so long.

If its a problem with who is writing the blog, please consider having someone or even multiple people proof read the blog to make sure its accurate. We are so often told by leaders, community managers and ambassadors to refer to the blog, we do exactly that all to find out its wrong.

edit ( after going back and looking at the blog and even the new one that just dropped, there is clearly a problem. very very simply errors such as spelling mistakes. how can we take things seriously when things are not even typed or spelled right ? You need to add more resources and people to the blog to stop these errors from happening, weather its spelling or shards we earn)

please respect your players and the community and fix this. the blog was clear. its not our fault you didn't add the shards to the tour.

please don't send people boxes with nothing in them. Tomorrow ever one should wake up with shards in their inbox and an apology for the error.

I completely agree every one grinds for it. But yet it was missing stuff from the start of the event.

I don't think there is really much that can be added to what has already been said scopely. You even have your content creators on here telling you this is poor form by you. Subject to change surely doesn't mean you just screw the consumers over because you realised you made a mistake, maybe we the consumers should stop consuming your product if this the treatment we are going to receive from you

Bags and shards alone are two different things bags have chance to get a poster but there they say 375 shards alone and last weekend there were iron shiek shards in tours that were also mentioned in blog. Scopely should compensate imo.

This is a non-response, and shows that you aren't taking feedback seriously in mine and many other players minds. You made a mistake, and rather than rectifying it in a positive manner you chose to cover over your error. No other blog looks like this. Furthermore, changing it after the feuds does nothing to help because now the event is essentially over anyway and there is nothing to be done

How many times does a restaurant botch your order before you stop eating there?

It is obvious to the naked eye what happened here: Employee A wasn't crystal clear to Employee B that "375 shards means in the bags, not IN ADDITION TO the bags." Equally honest and stupid mistake which at this point I expect from the employee in question.

Now let's be real: Bret is not a prime card. This event was structured to put him within reach to people making purchases in the Portal to yield Stamps and get him at 1200 shards - a perfectly reasonable option/"offer" for players to pursue...that is, if the employee hadn't made the mistake he made and left it there for the past three days, which directly impacted how people have chosen to play and spend during this time.

Scopely can make two choices here: mea culpa and fork over the shards for a card that isn't and won't ever be especially valuable or contribute meaningfully to their bottom line, and show a pretty fundamental level of goodwill...or let the employee double down on his mistake.

I see the blog has been updated, so we know the answer.

Seeing as scopely has made their feelings towards their player base known with horrendous edit to the blog, maybe the players should make their feelings known.

We have planned based on the info given on the blog. We wasted a lot of resources due to wrong info and calculation, you have do what you have said and add the shards in the tours or directly give us the shard.

am not in the business of blasting the company. I’ll let others do that. With that being said, the fact that the blog post for HOF Bret says that 375 shards were available on the limited time tour in addition to 3 silver bags and 9 bronze bags, and no shards are on the tours is one of the worst pieces of communication the company has done.

Editing the blog days later and when the event is basically over is the absolute worst way to handle this

I totally agree, have you guys done better ,yes. Just continue to do right by your customers. If shards are missing just put up a way for people to get their missing shards.

100% agree with you danjay56, every time silly silly mistakes you guys do and we will suffer, we all need those missing 375 HOF Brett hart shards
