Showdown matches ended early

I understand that mistakes can be made but you literally waited til the end of the event to cut it short by a full day. Either fix it right away or leave it. We all clearly like playing the game but terrible decision making is making it hard to continue playing.

If you didn’t mean to have the timer as long as you did then so be it but don’t change the timer in the middle of the event it’s not right and should give rewards to everyone who missed the opportunity to get those rewards, it would only make it right

They have to accept his mistakes. We play thinking we have 1 more day of time and we trust and lose the chance

If you plan to change things like this you should give notice of the upcoming change a decent amount (perhaps 8hours minimum) of hours in advance... Otherwise it's the same old scam that benefits only some

where did the showdown event go? When I went to bed it said there was 14 hours left. Woke up and it’s gone?

You might want to look into what false advertising is and how it works before saying things like this.

Overall this leaves a bad taste in people's mouths. While the blog did list the normal end time it wasn't fixed until late and it reset for SOME but not all people. At this point I'm not sure what impact it had on leaderboards but I'm sure it will impact some people. Definitely need compensation.

You can't just change things and leave paying members in the dark it's unfair and unprofessional sort it out and not by just sending up 25 hp that won't wash this time

It's bad enough you screw alot of us players at the 500 spot and then you just change things mid way thru the match. How is this fair? Like I said b4 all you want is our money and don't care how the game runs.

Scopely strikes again. Saying things will be one way and then oops they made a mistake and so they change it and the players have to deal with it. Typical

It's unfortunate that this issue has spoiled a great event for some players.

While I understand that the additional points would have made the event much easier than originally intended, the fact that it was live for around 30 hours means it shouldn't have been altered in my opinion. I appreciate that it may have taken some time to fix the timer, but why wasn't this communicated to players after the event went live? I saw dozens of comments and questions about the timer within the first couple of hours of showdown starting. A simple message (in-game, forum, or, Twitter) confirming the timer would be corrected would have avoided the disappointment and anger later.

The additional 15,000 coins being available to certain players has caused a lot of issues, particularly with the leaderboard. I know a number of players who would have earned a top 100 rank (100 Shards) if they could have gained the extra points, and I'm sure there are people who will get/lose the poster for the top 20 ranks also. I think most players are aware of how long a manual fix for these issues takes, so hopefully a fair 'quick fix' is issued. Possibly sending players rewards for the rank above where they ended might be fair for the majority of players affected.
