Showdown matches ended early

The Showdown scrimmage matches ended very early after the timer was reduced through the night (UK/Euro time) last night, so we have woken up to find that part of the event ended early leaving a lot of us at a disadvantage and missing out on a lot of rewards.

This isn't fair and nor is it OK to change an event timer midway through an event.

It is also not ok to now say it was not intended to last as long as the timer said it should. You'd built the expectation by advertising the timer length, if its an error then you should of honoured that error not suddenly change it without warning and putting a lot of the player base at this disadvantage.

You can’t randomly decide that at event timer is wrong and change it midway through the event. You need to accept your mess ups and not disadvantage the player base. Certain players left some matches unplayed in that SD in the knowledge that it would be up for several more hours. Make this right

Caz 1991 takes the mick the showdown finished early especially in UK time which is ridiculous when I was on the last milestone and now I can't max it

Just woke up for work and tried to play a showdown match before I showered only to find out it was no longer available. If the timer was in fact wrong why wait so long to make the change?

I’m really mad with this showdown scopely cheat us put the reset late in the night and finish the sd just 4 hours later for we can’t play this game make every day more cheating poor service from scopely I’m really disappointment:(

If you screw something up, let’s say a timer, own up to it. Don’t change it midway through a freaking event with no announcement at all. Good job screwing over half your player base.

Same thing diffrent day . They mess up and leave half the people at a disadvantage . But that's OK they will send out some stupid boxes that wouldn't even excite a new player to the game to say sorry . 🙄

I hope Responsible people from Scopely will not reply to the post as it suits them. Never reply to your fault, they will shout and we will not reply. Or we will reply with Sorry we are working on the matter. But dont ever think of your lost rewards because of our Mistakes and inabilities.

Offcourse the timer doesn't reset for me too and I would miss the rewards Or have to put lot of coins and TPs on the superstars of no use.

I was prepared to grind for that extra 15000 showdown points today to give an additional 1.5M for the solo even and earn the last rewards. All timers indicated this would be part of the event. Please reward the additional points and final rewards.

Hope they will let us do the sd nd the tours for another day so everyone has a fair chance to get those rewards. Some have had the reset nd could max that event and a lot couldnt..thats not fair nd totally BS..

Only good thing to do is give everyone the rewards or let them play sd nd tours for another day!

We havent had one single post from Scopely team to say sorry or even say we know there's an issue..

It's beginning to become you can't trust anything you guys do. Everything is changed after the fact. The error is always supposed to go to the customer aka us the players. By in large programming issues fall on our backs when we should get the benefit of the mistake. Everyone has a life and we count on things to be reliable so we can plan. Your constant changes make that impossible. Mistakes happen we all get it but changing the timer 20+ hours into an event is just poor management on your part. The players shouldn't suffer because of your inability to see something isn't right in timely fashion ( aka an hour after the event starts). It's your mistake not ours... You need to own it!

I was left with 2 more showdown scrimmage matches to do with Naomi. And it is not just for UK/Euro times that this effects. It is equally bad for Indian/Asian player base. But do they care? No. They have a very wrong notion that caters a whole lot to US times. This notion needs to change.

Now coming to changing the timer mid-way through an event. I still feel amazed as to how you guys do this without giving it a second thought. Tours broken, showdown resets for few and gives them extra 1.5 million points in the showdown scrimmage solo contest, 90% of the player base at a disadvantage. Yet you try and turn a blind eye to everything and think all that is fine as long as the money keeps pouring in. The game needs to be working normally and uniformly for everyone. How hard is that to happen?

And lastly, do not be like politicians please. If you have done a mistake, own up to it instead of trying to sweep it under the rug. In any case the game has a lot of bugs and glitches which increase with every update you release. We wish that the devs do not add more on top of those with things like this

Frustrated with the event. Why did you stop half way through? Why did some of the community gain an advantage by having it reset and a third lot of 15k coins achieved. This impacts the leaderboard unfairly. Why when it benefits the community does it get stopped straightaway, yet things that don’t benefit seem to lag ie rewards for backlash tour.. appears to be take take take

Same with them everytime you do what you want scopley you don't care about the community only your wallets with your ridiculous loot pulls and stealing from the community, anything that's not advantageous to scopley you quickly take away from the players it's getting real old for the players

I doubt there's anything they will do to make it right knowing their antecedents. But we all deserve a fair chance to replay the showdown event again since some selected few were privileged to play it before reset

Completely disrespectful to the player base then to add to it some people seemingly at random got their SD coins reset and were able to earn another 15k while others werent

This is absolutely unacceptable. I didn't finish my naomi runs as the timer, when I went to bed, had the showdown running until the end of today. Absolutely farcical.

Why are technical issue's favouring players solved mid way in events and the issues players want you to fixe from ages not been fixed till now, my game frozen in last sd matches and in one match evin though i won the match with full hp lost all my hp of hhh....

U put a timer for showdown event then u change it without any notice, this is not good, if there is a problem u should fix it early not we just woke up and surprised with it.

Another thing when u do a reset then should all player get it not some player get 15,000 showdown coins and another didn't get any.

For notice those 15,000 coins should give me last milestone in showdown event and that's many rewords.

U should look into it and make all player play with the same rules.
