I really hope this wasn't intended.
People spent money, ressources and/or a lot of time grinding feuds to get those missing shards on some of the characters (rocker and out of the blood line feud for example)
If this really was intentional I hope we will a good compensation for that. In my opinion this is a case of false advertising. Get the people to do one of the things I mentioned above and then just need those characters, all 3 are still capable of keeping a 6ss char down turn 1. At the moment it seems like you have nerfed them because those 3 are stronger then you expected and that's the only reason for the nerf them.At least that's the picture I got from all the comments here and a lot of discord servers.
I really look forward to the outcome what the teams decides that is looking into it, please proof us wrong that is just a nerf out of nowhere

I think the biggest issue now at least for me is I have lost my trust in scopely. I have spent money to secure these cards for the advertised damage only to have it nerfed. This shows me and everyone else you can and will at anytime. Trust is important!
As a “spender”, If I cannot trust what I am buying then I will no longer buy. I’m not going to chase only to have its value decreased in the future and rendered worthless. If you were nerfing a free character that would be different, but people here purchased your product and this would be considered a “bait and switch”. Please do right by you players. Learn your lesson for the future, and take care of your players/customers before you lose them.

Looks like I have to stop spending on this shit. I spends almost 1000$ a month to get all characters. But I have to think now before spending "Scopely can nerf this superstar also in future. So why to spend?"
Stop nerfing the superstars already launched. Focus on how the new superstars should be launched.
Spent 300$ to recruit Solo Sikoa. Looks like he will also get nerfed saying it was intended. Juggernaut gems shouldn't do that much damage.

If this is an intended nerf then I simply don't understand it. All 3 guys are premium (pay to play) and the damage can be defended against (70% multiply gem down coach). The moves are not wildly overpowered in that they break the game, they require clever trainer/coach use and tactics.
I will be watching the response closely as it will dictate any further spending or even participation with this game going forward. To not even communicate the change is insulting to the player base.

I don't have these characters, but I have spent money to chase others and now, I just want to leave the game.
I get paid, subscription, characters being changed (champions club) to stay relevant, but "fixing" characters to suit your agenda isn't ethical. You, along with other corporations, feed off our disposable income and I've justified playing after taking a hiatus because I thought the game was better.... it's the same as it was.
We can't have just a fun game with spending elements, we have to give you everything and you make all the rules.

The another thing is if it wasnt intended then why powerhouse sami was made launched and counted the multis? Im pretty sure they meant the multis to work on him that's how he was advertised by gameplay etc etc and even the new moment released indicates that the multis should work this is totally unfair cause people spent real life money to get them and the next morning they stop working? it makes a huge difference it's like a kid who passed his senior year with all that effort just to get back to grade 1?

You guys do realize that people have spent hundreds if not thousands obtaining these characters. These characters were previewed by YOUR content creators with these particular movesets and that’s what drives people to spend the money for a chance to obtain them.
Unless you plan on refunding thousands of dollars and resources (coins, TP, evo tokens, boss battle tokens, moment tokens) to every player that has obtained at least one of these three cards - it’s strongly recommended that you just leave the cards the way they were. They are actually playable in the new 6ss meta and changing the way the multiply gems are counted will cause people to not use the cards at all.
Hell, boss battles are getting harder and harder, you don't expect us to defeat 1.6B health with move damage, do you? You guys were doing great when it came to the community this year, don’t screw it up.

I've been saying this for a long time we need better communications. If these 3 mentioned characters where not working as intended it should have been noted from day 1! You even brought power house Sami out working in the same way making money off of him to later down the line change move the goalposts without any communication! I personally have all 3 character which cost me a fair amount of money to obtain. I wouldn't have spent if i knew these would one day be nerfed into essentially a useless character! Furthermore the resources i spent on them is not a small amount (wasted prizewall currency for special plates too)
These changes need reverting back and if this wasn't the intended way these should be played this should be implemented to any future characters and not these 3!
There are already massive trust issues in the community between the community and the devs! lets not make this worse after some good work thats recently been put into the game.
Revert the changes, apologise and lets all move on.

As players and customers there are certain things we've come to accept. We've accepted that the meta changes from time to time as new rarities are introduced and that characters who once were effective are not as much so in the new meta. We've seen that and expect that each time you introduce a change in rarity.
If this change is indeed intended, this is not that. This is randomly altering the way several high-tier characters perform with no notice and no warning apparently at your own whim. Characters that your customers have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars in some cases to recruit and level based on how the characters were designed and have played for a considerable period of time as promoted by your company and it's representatives. These types of changes need to be communicated and not just randomly made so customers can make informed decisions.
If this change is intended and not corrected after hearing from your customers, I will have no reason to spend going forward as you will have proven yet again that you don't care about product integrity and consumer confidence in what they are purchasing. It's deceitful and a terrible business practice to treat your customers that way, if this was indeed intended.
Please reconsider this change if intended and if not intended please do what you need to do to restore these characters to how they have been functioning since they were introduced, and soon.

I have canceled my vip, which I have had ever since VIP started. And I will not be spending any money on this game until this change is reverted.

Holy damn this change is tone-deaf. You guys really looked at alllllll the issues with the game, and went "These cards do too much damage even though that's how they were advertised, better "fix" that". Even though people spend actual money on them. How are people going to spend on new characters that you release if you might change them in the future?

Will not spend another penny on this game and I’m going to requests some refunds from my bank and see what happens. You literally advertised PH Sami with the mechanics as is with no mention of a possible nerf to them.

I had just purchased the last naka shards I needed last month for 100$. Spent most of my upgrades on him. took him 6ss as soon as I could. Spent money on the resources. And now he is no longer useful. How can it be okay to change characters so drastically? Will this continue rendering any effort and time put into the game wasted? This is a good reason for refund requests and I’d imagine lots of BBB complaints

This mechanic used to work as intended. When you change gem to mutliply gem, you multiply it's value so for example 3x black gem is 3 black gems in 1 spot. For same reason you get more MP for breaking multiply gems. Revert those changes to what it was and focus on fixing actual bugs like trainer/coaches abilities not working at all or as intended or constant connection issues during boss battles

Scopely gentlemen, this change seems disgusting and a scam to me, what are you doing to Nakamura, Shawn Rocker and Zamy, this change is rubbish, we spent a lot of money on these characters for you to download them, you have to reverse this change or else we'll leave let's get together between top factions and we're going to stop spending so they can see what it feels like to lose money, we're going to pay them with the same currency if they don't reverse this change, we're already talking between various factions so that if they don't reverse this change we're going to stop spend and you will also lose money so you can see what it feels like, regards

I can just say the same thing as other players, such a nerf should never happen, especially for a paid character and espacially and also so long after it's release
When a character is released, he is what he is. It is unacceptable to nerf him. It's like a false advertisement when you market a product and after buying it you receive something else. All the CC promoted those card with the buff. If it was not how you wanted to do it you should have changed it before the release. Now, it's like we have been robbed.
Moreover, if you think that this is not how the card should have been played, you should have just released one and not the 2 that followed the first one.
As I said, once a card is release, it should never changed in the bad direction

The changes are ridiculous. Should have never been created that way. These characters have been this way for so long.
I don't even have any of the main ones effect by the nerf. But I have spent a lot trying to obtain the card or shards needed to recruit, especially rocker HBK and SB naka.
There should major compensation for money, time and resources spent for all players. Those who have the cards and those who tried to obtain them.
It's time the player base should use the subject to change card and STOP spending.
The last month we as customers have been hit with the subject to change card multiple times
The state of game has changed a lot in the last 30 days and not for the good.

Going to try and not pile on, but I will just simply add that to have the cards out for so long and never even mention that the mechanics were broken leads the players to believe that everything is playing as intended. Content creators made videos showing off the abilities of the characters and many loots were based off the rarity of those cards. If it was not working as intended then the players should have been notified that it was not working correctly initially. As it is, people spent time, money, and resources to get the cards and build them to the highest levels to be able to play them as they were modeled by sponsored creators. If you do plan to nerf the characters then you should also be ready to offer the entire player base refunds for any pulls made with those characters in the pool. It feels very much bait and switch or just straight up false advertising if you knew they were not playing as intended and nothing was mentioned. The last month was a bad look from a QA perspective and then this is how you start the very next event?

Rocker and Naka have been out for a year and have played the same thebwhole time.
PH Sami was released with a Drip plate build and a contestnfor the plate.
Either this was the intended function of the move OR Scopley took advantage of the "glitch" marketed it for a new card (with a Drip plate to make him better), benefited financially for it and then reversed the function without warning claiming it was not working as intended.
If it wasn't the intended function why were the card a released? Why were 2 of them not updated for a year? Why was no notification sent that A: They were broken and B: that the update was coming? None of these things happened. This is wrong.
Also, still no response from Firpo or anyone else at $copley. Bad form, yet again.

And of course I'll stop spending money for characters they present in a way and then they decide to nerf.
