New Player Unable to Level Up in League Due to New Showdown System

I can't level up past League 5 because it requires 3 Showdown victories and I don't have enough characters to compete in it.

Is there anyway to change or bypass it? Otherwise, I don't know when I will be able to advance in the game and that's extremely disappointing.

However in this case it’s intended. This allows newer players to build up their roster further before proceeding the the next league where you will face new challenges. Thanks

Well how am I suppose to improve my roster this early in the game without spending money? Can't compete in the Rocky event because Factions are still locked. The weekly claim is usually a different class than the showdown requirements for that given week. Plus, you need two of last week's class before you can even attempt the Showdown mode.

In other words, DK, the only way to advance this early in the game is to pay to unlock stuff. And that is a real shame because you used to be able to unlock superstars on the Road tours. Now, the game is being a whole ton of micotransaction walls, and eventually, I'll get to a point where I can't proceed on the Road, but still can't get past my current league.

Guess I just won't play anymore.

Thanks for the feedback Cody. We will pass this along to the team. It seems maybe you have an older account. Have you tried recovering that one and using it?
