What exactly is not working?

I'm able to load the game but once at the starting screen, I cannot actually play the game at all.

At the main screen of the game, I keep getting a pop up from Google play games that asks if I want to continue my current game progress and I always click on yes, then it completely restarts my game and then the pop up keeps on appearing and I cannot get it to stop appearing so that I can actually play the game.

Where in the game did it happen?

At the very first starting screen of the game once the app loads.

What are the steps to reproduce it?

The steps to reproduce my issue is simply just the initial starting screen of the game once the app loads.

When or since when did it happen?

This has been happening for over a week now.

How often do you experience this issue?

I experience this issue every single time I try to play my game. So multiple times a day, everyday.

What device are you playing on?

I'm playing on Android device.

Which OS and game version?

I am playing the most current updated version of the game.

What have you tried so far to fix it on your side?

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Google play games and also uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times and still am getting the same issue.
