5ss socko only 1-turn bleed rather than two

I am on the latest version of the app and OS for iPhone 8+. I’ve tried in multiple road matches and each time the bleed only lasts for one turn rather than two. When you activate the move it says “2 turns” but when the bleed actually hits it says “1 turn” at the start of the opponents turn.
