Health packs being depleted but not working

Playing Flash Feuds on an IOS system. The game asked me to use health packs before I could enter the brawl. I pressed use health packs and it took them, but continued to ask me to use them without healing the characters and letting me brawl. I lost about 132 packs before I realized what it was doing.
