Where do purchases/rewards from the portal go in game?

Hello,

This was my first purchase that I made yesterday. Afterwards I launched the game, expecting to find it, but I couldn't. It didn't appear in my game mail, nor was it added to my inventory. Was it simply not sent, or is there a special way to collect it so it does appear? Please let me know, thanks.
