A convoy of eager developers has swept through the ring, cleaned it, polished it, and hung up scent trees so that it appears in new splendor! We’re talking about the recently announced STEEL CAGE RULES!

 will allow only certain equipment like Gears, Moments, Straps, Entourages, Perks, etc., and can have Gem Damage reduced or boosted! (Promoters still provide all their benefits even when Entourages are disabled)

How can your Feedback be constructive and more valuable?

  1. It's all about why you had that experience in the game!
  2. Tell us what you liked and what could be improved.
  3. If you have any suggestions or mitigations, let us know!
  4. Try to split your Feedback into several parts if needed.
  5. Example: A contest consists of many elements, such as the overall idea, milestones, rewards, loot, difficulty, timings, Superstars, etc. 
  6. The more info you provide, the more valuable it is for us.

    After reading the new blog...Are we really going to add these "steel cage rules" to the feuding element now? I don't think that is a good move. Imagine telling your players all the optimizing you did for you characters, all those resources or $$ you invested...yeah we're going make it irrelevant this feud, but hey all the players who gotall those chase characters this month and last? They still got their 99 mp buff, so good luck with thar! Great way to make a competitive mode less competitive.

    I'm all for it in tours, and maybe sd could be interesting, but in a game where staring loaded is essential, and taking away players ability to do so while letting the 99 mp buff stay, does not sound like fun gameplay in the slightest. Maybe im being too critical too soon, but on paper those are my initial concerns.

    Also I love seeing stips addressed quickly, however how is that addressed this quickly, yet IOW tokens and making them available in greater abundance, something we have been begging for for quit some time still not beed addressed. Promoters would make those tours alot more enjoyable as well and easier to get higher star value, but not being able to max a Promoter quickly is detrimental. Currently, I can do what, one evolve or enhance a month, maybe two if I get some good rng in the faction shop or willing to spend some in game cash.

  • I love this new idea, it brings some refreshness In the game. You guys keep up the great work, can’t wait to participate in this event!!

  • The new update is amazing and will bring even more challenging environment among the players. I do have a few feedbacks

    1. You guys can come up with more beneficiary tag links for such type of game mode.
    2. The amount of tp to be given in the game can be increased a bit more as there have been shortage of tp.
    3. There is also an alternative way to reduce the amount of resources needed to upgrade a superstar.
    4. I loved how you guys brought up those medal points in those feud milestones.
    5. You guys can also introduce friendly feud battles which can result in future eSports in this game as well.

    In the end I'd just say "Keep up the great work"

    Great idea introducing this new type of game mode. Can’t wait to play it when it comes out later today😁

    However with a more evolving game the suggestion/feedback I have is the rewards specifically TP and coins we get from completing battles needs to increase for better stability purposes

    Great way to improve the game but some of the tours on hell mode are difficult to beat at times. Need to lower to the same star as the players.

    I like the concept. But, when you factor in the MLCs SD perks/nerfs, it's way too much.

    Consider changing the MLCs SD perks to the way the feud perks work now (only perks and no nerfs) and then Cage Rules would work much better.

  • I’m getting steel cage rules in the TMNT tour, is it supposed to have them ? Other than that I like the SC rules. Fun so far I’m also a fan of SD so I may be biased

  • I think the new mode is a great addition to the game. It makes me alter my strategy in SD. Where I'd usually go nuts with my Powerhouse KO, I've been using Melo and even Tama Tonga bc of the 200% buff to move damage.

    While I appreciate the gem debuffs, I'd rather see it across all gem damage and not just 2 specific types. This way, it would force more players to roll to the move damage, which I think would make the mode even more enjoyable. This way, we could see more character variety instead of the usual suspects like Ozzy, KO, Muta and so on.

    Furthermore, I'd like to see the level gain be a little faster, maybe just with the 16 energy instead of 12. As a player who relies on SD tokens to purchase TP, Coin and HoF tokens, it'd be nice to be able to grind a little more without having to spend actual cash on energy. Even if we could purchase more with coin, that would be much appreciated.

    Pros: New concept

    Cons: Not suitable for SD
    -The Steel Cage rule that we get to "use perks" is negated by the fact that (a) we can't use +MP entourage (b) the +6MP perk is negated by the -6MP perk. So essentially no perks in SD.
    Fix: *Consider allowing MP entourages.

    -You have a significant advantage if you have a +99MP character that's usuable.
    Fix: *Consider allowing MP entourages or +99MP perk.

    -The grind is longer and slower for the same rewards.
    Fix: *Lower milestones or boost rewards.

    My overall issue is the lack of significant MP to enjoy the mode.

  • I like it the fact they give you a chance to mix it up you don't have to lean on your entourage or your belt sometimes so the factor giving us a challenge with a newbies and for the veterans it's pretty nice to see

    please put a steel cage around the ring, makes it more realistic rather than just rule changes to the match

  • The event wasn't that bad it is pretty fun with the gem buffs and seems pretty equal for everyone

  • I am supportive of steel cage if it's in its own mode or in tours occasionally but please don't have it in anymore showdowns nor fued. Make a new set of road tours with it or limited tours.

    Maybe not the worst idea, but I don't think the execution is really all that fair.

    With entourages nerfed, everyone's just using characters with 1 MP moves or new characters with +99. Since Trap gems are buffed, EVERYONE is using Ozzy on defense since a large portion of a community has a 6SG Ozzy for this. And this is after he was already on everyone's defenses in the last Showdown tournament. Ugh!

    I ***REALLY*** don't want to see this implemented on Feuds. The Faction Feuds / Flash Feuds is the event a lot of people specifically focus their roster on. Feuds got thrown into chaos when the new perk system was implemented, we're FINALLY at a point where the negative perks have been taken out for Feuds so we can still always use characters we want to use. One of the whole selling points of the Talent Up event is to bring characters up for the upcoming weekend Flash Feud. How am I supposed to know which characters are going to be good this weekend and which ones are going to get kneecapped by these silly new rules???

  • *Heads Up: I use the word whales to describe players that spend heavily on this game. This term is not me being disrespectful, I am just using the same terminology as the content creators in this community.

    I think having a new gamemode is great especially if we can start adding it into the rotation and we won't be stuck with just showdown, blitz, or extreme rules during the entire WLC. It adds a new way of having to strategize for which characters will be the most effective, however, if you have a CSS character from the previous MLC that is all out of the window. For example, I can use any Ilja and just run his black, green, green finisher combo and sweep through everyone. The reason I can do that is because of the +99 MP.

    This issue can be a blessing and a curse for all players;

    Blessing: if you grinding your butt off in the previous MLC and have unlocked the characters then you gain the advantage for the hard work put in and can use your prize to sweep through the showdown battles.

    Curse: This means the whales will gain an even stronger advantage for unlocking the newest MLC characters asap, however for those that are running fully free to play they will have a harder time pushing them away from the new gamemode. We have seen the community complain about this before when dealing with having to use CSS superstars for an advantage (example: Hall of Fame Blitz during kickoff, and some extreme rules battles especially the health-based ones).

    If we are going to use the steel cage mode the entire week which I agree with Davey D, the rewards are the same but for a slower grind for F2P players, whereas the whales can just blast through. The rewards will need to be reworked to match the level of grind it takes the F2P to get it done. I like to think of it as bottleneck method which is all non-premium milestones should be set up for how the slowest player or F2P player will take. The premium milestones will still require purchase for loot drops or stronger CSS characters, but the fundamental needs to be revisited because this is likely to become a classic gamemode and part of the rotation.

    Overall, should you take away MP trainers then there is no reason to keep the +99 MP during those gamemodes as well as it gives a strong advantage to half (Not sure what percentage of the player base are whales) of your player base. The gamemode rewards will need to be tweaked to match the grind it takes to get the rewards. I know for now its only impacting the Cowabunga Solo Contest (which I think needs way more prize wall medalions available for players, and is currently difficult to climb without dropping a down payment for a car).

    In general, the idea is not even bad. We decided that we liked it in principle. I’ll divide it into what I liked and what I would like to improve.

    I liked it:

    1. The bonus idea is very good. Especially for players with weak rosters, many characters in the same SD even the odds against 6sg characters.
    2. Reducing boosts depending on your level in SD progress (very good idea, change not only the amount of energy but also the requirements)

    Didn't like:

    1. There is no way to use props. (in single player mode there is no such option, maybe this is a bug).
  • I would like for you guys to possibly test things in a real world environment before you roll them out. These factions out here are ruff, for people who work the hours you tend to release tour and new things puts us in a position to be kicked for non participation. It's also an headache to see things crash constantly yet top factions seems to always hit their goals.... there's an issue of trust there if you don't see it.... thank you for your time

  • This new mode is so bad I don't like it to be honest. For example I am using Ozzy in sd offence and if I use all of his moves I hit around 30-40 million turn 1 at 6sg that's okay.

    Problem arises when if my opponent has Ozzy and in defence when he is using only 2 moves I mean both his trap moves he is hitting around 40-50 million

    So I wanna say that when you Playing offence your entourage,skill plates not working but your opponent's working. I can't understand how.

    I am hitting both trap moves and black moves which increases black gem damage by 150% so my Ozzy is only hitting about 30-40 million at 6sg. I know in this Cage match there is 50% black gem reduction but why my opponent is hitting way more like 40-50 million even if he use only 2 trap moves .

    This means opponents black gem reduction is not working. So there is a need of progress in this new mode
