Pretty much the same as standard, not a big fan of it pretty much being changed to a faction grind though

Should remain as a true PvP and solo grind mode

pulls are not good. Constantly getting the same worthless characters. Rock tour is impossible

Happy to get the final boss. I was able to shard recruit a fella. But, there's nothing to do today? Already used the point blitz tickets. I'd be nice to do a mlc tour. I miss those days.

Overall I liked this event. It was relatively unique in that it felt like it had two different chase cards, between Final Boss and Charlotte.

I was fortunate enough to get Final Boss the week before, so I got to do the premium showdown. That was pretty good. The medallion rewards felt a little flimsy but it was nice to get a head start in racking up faction points for the event. The combination of purple and botch gems had not been used before as far as I remember, so it was a good new challenge.

For the “regular” showdown, this felt pretty standard. Not really much to comment on there, but I do think the less restrictive slots and the new cards that have low charge tag moves and 1 MP gem generate moves made it flow a lot quicker. The only thing I might suggest changing is taking off the energy cap. If you think about it, people are sometimes disincentivized from buying large quantities of energy because they won’t benefit from the recharge. I think you could sell more energy packs if you just left everything the same but took off the energy cap. Then people would have more freedom to do tours, claim milestones, and buy energy without worrying how close they were to 16, and that way their energy is still recharging at the same rate all the time.

The tours were pretty good, I always like when they tie to the actual wrestler, so having Austin and Mick Foley for the Rock is nice to see.

The shardless loots are always a turnoff, I’m not going to lie. I think there is middle ground where you can keep the rarest items incredibly rare but still never put players in a situation where they do a large pull and come away with nothing. I know you intended for the Rock shards to be the consolation prize, but when he is essentially presented as being obtainable for free this month anyway, I don’t think that’s enough consolation.

I would also agree with the point that has been made by others that if the faction event ended earlier than the overall event, it would encourage spending on medallions because people would know where they stand.

The blog reveal was pretty good for the event. Shoutout to Brofessor for going in depth on every part of it, it helped make the setup of the event really clear.

Overall a pretty good event. I think showdown has improved a lot from where it had been. Thank you for the better experience.

I’m not sure where to begin with the bow down to the queen contest. My level of caring for this game has been on a downhill slope since probably the last weekend of last month’s MLC.

The showdown event to me was nothing special at all, waiting for energy to help the faction or myself get to the 1.5m milestone (only realistic goal for most). Going up against a wall of HoF Rey or Melo…. Seriously can there be a SD event that ban these two on defense for at least one of these events a month?

Got enough prizewall tokens to get Trickster Bubba Ray, so that’s a plus. Why be stingy on the D’Von or Chelsea Green shards? Would have made it interesting to me if they were more than 15 to 25 shards each. Again, it’s expensive to get anything on the prizewall. Overvaluing things that are not game changers are getting old really fast.

The tours I suppose were all right, made me use zSCSA against a 6ss Final Boss. Good 15 minute waste of time… if I already had the Final Boss, I would have skipped that. Using MEM Rock was not the end of the world, Using red hart props got me through the rough patches easily.

Just threw a $20 at the loot… it’s a waste of money to pull these days with the loot packages being really stingy to the dollar value and no shard packs offered that would have piqued my interest. With the way things are offered and how the new event is laid out, why spend hundreds or thousands on this game anymore? I really wish there was a conversation on how and why this monthly event was radically changed.

Overall, this SD event was a 2/10, which Charlotte is definitely not a 2/10, she’s a 10/10! One of my favorite lady wrestlers ever! I just want the SD coins to get stuff on the prizewall each day at reset and be done. Just another get what you can and run type of weekend.

I enjoyed the tours and showdown this weekend. The rock tour was tough but a welcoming challenge I liked not being able to just blow through the tours. For once I had all the CSS for showdown. With a little spending I was able to get a decent plate. Prizewall had shards at decent cost. The only negative was the rewards for the premium SD friday I thought it could've been a little more rewarding. Overall I though the event was good hopefully this is a sign of good things to come.

The lack of Final boss, Kross, and CM Punk made getting the gold chest unobtainable. Gold chest should be obtainable without such rare ss.

In regards to non weekend events like Talent up or the masters events on non fued weekends can we get Hall of Gold type event back where Gold HOF tokens count towards an event. Also adding IOW tokens into an event for points whether solo or faction events would be nice to see in future updates as well. Or make an IOW event with IOW straps made available.

weekend event was good. Showdown requirements were pretty good. Enjoy knowing who is coming out throughout the month. Gives me a chance to plan things out to do what I need to for the faction or go more if I decide to. Getting shards for the “pay” characters throughout is a bonus instead of having 0 shards for characters. Several faction mates also enjoy the new format.

Feedback for Bow Down to the Queen Showdown

    • Event seems like it's all new Charlotte themed but nothing to do with her as it's a M/M Showdown and Tour, almost feels like Final Boss Rock Event. Not complaining, much rather do Male instead of Female Showdown.
    • With the way Showdown has introduced new superstars with 1 mp to tag out, it's definitely made SD fun again, I guess you would also need to introduce for Female before any Female SD takes place.
    • Tours were ok with one exception of using Blue Chipper against a ridiculously strong HHH. This should have been any Rock instead.
    • I feel like the faction part of SD has changed where it's not just scoring points for yourself but also for the faction so there's a boring grind element to it being introduced. Not sure how long this will keep us entertained as eventually I think this type of mode will fizzle out and people get bored with the endless grind.
    • The amount of shards in store seems like slap in the face and barely much for us to eventually shard recruit our superstars.

The Boss battle was a solid event. and I was able to come away with shards for two posters I still want. Speaking of shards, I think the prize walls need to have more shards available for various posters. it feels like it is always the same, which is fine to a point but would also like to see shards for others, especially trainers with dual mp abilities

I thought this was a good Showdown. The requirements for faction were very reasonable allowing a wide variety of people to contribute if they put in the time. There were a number of options for people to use to get purple gems and botch gems and put up some points. I'm very glad to see this as a scoring method over the old "level a 6s" which I REALLY do not like. I always find myself completely wasting coins on people I'll never use, only because I don't have unlimited resources and have to get the max points by leveling useless people.

I also found the requirements for the solo portion to not require as many rare people as previous showdowns. I was only able to get to the 1.5m milestone. But that is pretty much as far as I usually go.

The tours were a bit tough for me because I only had a 5ss zRock for his tour. I will be VERY happy to hopefully get the Final Boss and have a good a Rock. Other than that the tours were good.

The prize wall did have a lesser amount of shards of people which has been needed for a long time! I hope there's an option like this on every prizewall moving forward.

I am starting to like these events and scoring methods. Forces you to think and use cards you may not normally use. The rewards for finishing top 10 are fine, just wish the odds of the bags were a little better. Only 1 in our faction got the new plate.

I enjoyed it very much. However, with 6SG in game now I think for a little while The 1st slot should be cpped at 6SS to ensure newer or free to play players have shot at winning.

I generally like the showdown contests the best. Because you can really complete it more on your own time. I think there could be more rewards for the higher you get in the showdown. The Rock tour was a good opportunity missed to upgrade some of the older Rock characters to make them more able to complete the tour. I was happy that it was obtainable to get the ingot for the contest. Overall, there seemed to be less hiccups for this event. So, I will take that positive out of this contest. I'm looking forward to seeing how this whole MLC will work out in the end.

I think last week went well though I wish there were more opportunities to get this Charlotte as there have been for the Rock. It just feels like the focus is still on the final boss when it’d be nice to shift it to the other two superstars from this month. I also concur that the start of this week leaves a lot to be desired in terms of tours or lack thereof

MLC are becoming more targeted towards paying players. Events are ising non f2p characters making it extremely difficult to hit milestones in order to get rewards in order to recruit mlc characters. Point in case with the first faction flash feud this weekend. Not many people will be able to fill a card line due to requirements. Not sure how people think they will be finishing a match in the 30min window against op 6*g if your opponent has 7-8 strong characters. I used to achieve 4 feuds per hour, down to 2 i expect on this one. There needs to be a division or equality between f2p and others. Not sure how?

I have spent and gotten some items. I have spent and not gotten items. I do think that if someone is going to spend $99 for pulls, 90-95 percent of those pulls should not be outdated shards. If the game is evolving and changing, the prizes must evolve and change as well. It seems unbalanced at best.

    Showdown event itself was fine.

Only gripe I have is there is no where close to enough Prize Wall Currency available to Free To Play grinders. Ended up with like 7,000. That's not worth my time. Only real reason to play is to not let my Faction down.

The only good Prize Wall we have had in recent memory was last October - Zombie month.

Other than that your Event PW currency is for the birds, every single event.

The only people that need your Bubba and D-Von and Kross shards are the F2P that didn't pay to get those posters previously and you price them where F2P players will not be able to buy any of them anyway. I don't see the logic. Either lower the shard prices, or increase the PW currency for the F2P grinders to the 30,000 range… We are not going to get your new Plates. We are not going to get your new 6sb character. We just want to get a couple 100 shards closer to an old poster.

    Thanks for listening.

Felt that it was a pretty good showdown. Never I. With a change of getting top draw stuff. But can work out my limit and whwn to stop.

Do think that the prize walls are pants now. I never get much to spend and the stuff I can get is pretty pants.

yes i know im late, and thats fine…

the showdown itself. decent event for faction options to grind out the points. the energy timer should be shorter (as it should be in all showdown things) maybe 15 mins even.

there was some glitchy bugs that would freeze things up after using a move and then the board would flash and go wild, say you have used the move but then not done anything and you cant do anything. so you have to force close the game. it does this in every game mode however so its not just a showdown thing.

the prizewall was, well, youve heard plenty of how bad that was so we wont get into that.

the one thing i feel is that there should be more showdown stuff/events. theres just not enough chances/options to get tokens and there should be. the weekly/daily stuff has too long of a cooldown and too low of a payout. even with promoters.

    have a "good" one.

There’s alot of things to talk about ever since we introduced with the new meta. There’s always something sloppy or misconductions happens during implementation but it’s all about maintaining the overall health of the game. I have few valid points which i need to talk bit more and some concerns that have been ignored. So, i’ll assess what is currently occupying in the game.

First things first had to start with the TOURS:- The rock tour (ROCK IS COOK’N) has been a miserably negative impact for those without a premium version of him. The tour requires MEM Rock,NOD Rock and then there’s Rocky Mavia “Blue Chipper”. Tbh it’s just a ridiculous move. Mavia could not even get through Hard mode without using the props. Restricted the tour behind paywall characters and putting as a CSS one(His most outdated version). Who most people wouldn’t even care about. Surely it was a bad idea.

Requiring a rock card to beat a 6S and 6G was a bit rough for half of the community. Considering how tight the points are, making it absolutely hard for FTP players to reach the free gold chest. I myself somehow managed to beat the freak’n 30 mil HP HHH in hell mode with 5G MEM Rock but still, took me a while with loads of props. In my previous input, I did say that the required CSS should be giving out more bonus reward towards the player base but the current situation was just ruthless. I just hope more people get to at least the bonus points from that tour but I know few people who already thrown the towel this weekend. For those who couldn’t made it, as resulted they all missed out on the free gold chest milestone and chance to get the “Rock Ingots” which makes it even worse. I feel like at this point, there is no need to work on the weekend events anymore. This just feels awful.

The rest of the WD tours, I had no issues but you guys need to understand CSS meant to be challenging for those who don’t own a premium poster. You guys could have come up with a better idea. I still think you could definitely adjust it or makes it little bit better in the first place, anyway but all that was such a massive setback.

SHOWDOWN Itself:-it wasn’t all bad tbh, the requirements being open is always a plus point. The major issue come up with the grind where you have to perform certain tasks again and again using the same character. Trust me, its ruins all the fun. People forced to go for slow and boring matches, just to get the more points for their respective faction. I understand that the concept is farily new, but it’s affecting the economy of the game and can be harmed, but you can do something about it. If you replace by a “Deal X amount of dmg with color move/gem” method. Which will still keeps the door open for specific type of gems and rewards speed/damage. Then there’s rare CSS requirements, which slowly becoming to be a dependent contest, just like feud superstar contest. If this trend continues, the FTP players will faded in the dark. showdown has been changed a lot since the introduction of energies come to play. Every weekend should have a grinding element to reward the ones who wants to grind it out, rather than spend.(Another implication that you could do is adding those promoter tokens to the SD shop)

Premium Showdown:-I can’t talked about this since I could not compete in, but for those who played it, I hope the rewards paid out well for them. This was just a copy and paste. I did more than my part for the faction, but it was still far from enjoyable. The event still plays a factor that many claims to be a nice reward structure for those who are willing to spend, or get lucky. Again couldn’t fairly comment on this since, I never got the rock to play it.

Prize wall and Offers:- As far as the weekend store offers, I was already limited on how many medallions i could get.(from the tours and having less CSS) I walked away with whatever I could grab and call it a day. The inconsistency prizewall items like Bubba ray shards, D-von shards and all other pricing is equivalent to poor grade. I also think the prizewall items are way to overpriced for what we can get in return. It’s typically either go high stash or go home scenario. It would have been alot better with the proper balancing.

Let’s Summarise:-I must say, apart from the backlash from the ROCK TOUR, you get on the very first day. It wasn’t that bad at all. Overall the requirements are somewhere decent. Love, the concept in the showdown the first slot being opened let you to use the best card of you choice. I remember few months back someone suggested “ it’s always better to test or managed the things before it goes live” and could turn into a massacre. Still, there are some changes that need to be done, but with proper communication, transparency, and feedback, things can be run much smoother. At last, I will give this event a solid 7/10

I have a couple of comments

Regarding the blitz, to be precise the blitzing point, it has too many matches to get too little amount of keys, I understand that the keys should not be the main purpose but Rezar is very hard to beat even with drew mccntyre 6 star

    Regarding the faction boss

To be honest it's the very first time I enjoy such competition, the fact that he gives damage but he doesn't heal is interesting and you did a great job in that matter, a little comment the faction boss store should have better option to buy like HoF gold tokens or something like that.

    Regarding the limited time tours

They are pretty good, the people who has the Rock the final boss may have a little bit of extra advantage which is something I understand and acknowledge that it is beneficial for you.

The only comment I have in limited tours not just for bow down but over all, there are no women tours to use the women in matches, so increasing that part a little would be good.

Showdown tour is great and the only thing I might comment that we would need HoF gold tokens in them so we can invest to keep playing instead of reaching a certain milestone.

I used to complain alot about the bugs but they are rarely existing now, you are doing great job keep going, I witnessed this game since it had 1k downloads and now Scopely you are making me proud to play such game❤️

    The 'New MLC Structure'…SUCKS.

Why can't you just GIVE US 3-Star Bronze MLC 'freebies' whenever a new MLC begins? Why does it always have to be 2-Star?

Why do you keep torturing us on key pulls? Seriously get rid of the damn shards already…key pulls should be intended for better odds at getting someone new…not consistently be FLOODED with shards of crappy day 1 talent who fight their way out of a cascade pin.

HOW ABOUT GIVING US 6-STAR GOLD TRIALS OF THE 'NEW' TALENT YOU KEEP PUSHING OUT…THAT WAY WE CAN GET A FIRST-GLANCE AT WHAT THEY'RE LIKE AND IF THEY ARE WORTH THE GRIND. ALOT OF US DON'T CARE TO MUCH ABOUT WATCHING YOUTUBERS THAT YOU SPONSOR SHOWING OFF THE TALENTS…SO LET US HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO USE THEM AS WELL.

"The Road Tours" are STILL untouched…many of us don't have the required talent/class for them…for god sakes it's 2024…remove the class/talent requirements and just let us use who we have…otherwise you're gonna have a problem on your hands because what's the point in doing ANY tours if we don't have the specific class OR talent.

This weekend was pretty good without issues here is my breakdown and reasons why I give this event an 8/10

    Pros:

    * Open first slot for any poster: This flexibility is great for allowing players to use their favorite posters.

    * Smooth event: A well-run event is essential for a good player experience.

    Cons:

    * No defensive wins: Earning defensive wins would add another layer of strategy to the showdown event.

    Prize Wall:

    * Good items: The prize wall offered a variety of desirable items.

    * Some overpriced items: Not all items were priced competitively.

Overall, I enjoyed the showdown event despite the lack of defensive wins and some overpriced items on the prize wall. Getting the final boss rock poster sounds like a great accomplishment!

The showdown weekend was really a nice improvement from the previous ones.

Firstly the Final boss was a much needed addidtion to the Rock collection as they were nowhere near the other superstars.

The faction points were achievable even if you didnt have the top tier guys.

The prizewall needs to be adjusted as not many of us could get more then 10k without spending and f2p players got less then 5k and the rewards for that amount were not adequate.

Secondly the addition of 6sg in showdown made it easy for lower guys in the factions to catch up woth the faction points.

Thirdly the showdown evergy was not enough as most of couldnt reach milestone 1.8mil for the 700k points without spending which shouldnt have been the case. Like karion and CM Punk both are loot champs and not easy for the f2p players to get them.

Overall i would give the event a 7/10.

    Hello community

Tour superstar b or c tier css need heavy buff make sure you aware this for next time

    Premium showdown nothing good

Showdown faction event task is very poor this time 120 botch gem 60 pp gem add only 1 type gems

Prize wall is poor too much expensive

    Nothing good for f2p players

No chance to get more then 9 shard loot coin

Make more chances to get free shard loot coin

Showdown is working only on premium spending player not good in f2p player
