Bow down to the boss showdown feedback

Tours were fine, no complaints
Showdown was good but the solo contest was very paywalled, you had to have the new rock or punk and Kross in order to hit the last of the solo points. I'm of the belief that everything before the bonus should be atleast somewhat obtainable for non whales.
Faction contest was fine, lots of options for botch and purple gems.
The prizewall has become the weekly disappointment. Most people won't get more than 5000 medallions if even that. Also 50 shards should be the minimum, 15 is far to few.
In non weekend requests new hof tokens need to be obtainable somehow. You've been putting them in loot and contests so it'd be nice to work on them if you are able to get one. Maybe put some in the mlc shop?

I think you should stop with the Premium Showdowns. It's not fair. This game is becoming more and more a PTW game.
Where are the points for Fuse, Evolde and Enhance? Half my roster is ready to be upgraded but I'm waiting for the right time.
I think 900,00,000 is way too much for the final box. 700,000,000 was fine.

P2W?? Its even more P2P, especially if you look on the rock tour

The stance on last week's bag debacle now makes sense for the current weekend's event. Right or wrong, I'm not going to attempt to debate since all valid points have been ignored. So I'll assess what is currently occupying the game.
"Premium" Showdown isn't the boogeyman that many claim it to be. A nice reward structure for those that are spending, and lucky.
Regular Showdown is becoming a Rare CSS dependent contest. If this trend continues, the majority of the F2P community will be loading up the torches and pitchforks. Showdown HAS NOT been the same since the energy "system" was put into place. Every weekend event should have a grinding element to reward the ones that want to grind it out, rather than spend.
The Rock tour seems to have negatively engaged those without a current/ "rare" version of him. I can understand how A test in literal "Hell" would be trying to take down any SS 6 star and above with Rocky Maivia. Nicely played. You've figured out how to make "Hell" equate to "Hell" .. but have yet to address a response on how a "chance" does not equal a "chance".
The "inconsistent" prizewall returns. Bubba shards,D Von shards ,and all other pricing is becoming the equivalent to Steiner Math.
Precedents can be hard to digest sometimes, but with PROPER communication, transparency, and accountability things are soooo much better. I remember someone saying a few months back that "it's ALWAYS better to situational/test manage than it is to DISASTER manage."

Before I give my feedback on the weekend event (that will NOT get reviewed by Scopely) I want to take a step back to earlier that week. We were told about new BackLash tours for League 23. Once you hit league 23, they would unlock.
This was a direct lie. I want to say congratz' to those who were able to take advantage of Scopelys limited coding. I will not explain how to do it, since it has already been shown on discords, reddit and other post on this forum. Great work Scopely. You have now given "certain" people are clear advantage in this game.
Weekend event -
I can't comment on the premium showdown but to those who completed it, I hope the rewards paid out well for you. The standard SD was just a cut and paste with different CSS. No thought really goes into those. I did more than my part for my faction, but it was far from enjoyable.
Let's start with the tours. Ahhh yes, that lovely "The Rock is Cookin" tour, on Friday. You sure are ruthless. I wish I was a fly on the wall, when you thought requiring Blue Chipper as a CSS was a good idea. You must all have a great laugh when you come up with these ideas. Blue Chipper Rock cannot even get through hard mode without using props. Think about that.
Let's talk about Blue Chipper. How about the fact that not one content creator has made a video for this poster for over 3 years? Well, that's because he is by far one of the worst posters in the game. You re-do certain old posters allot lately and you could not have at least given us a move update for either him or Sb Rock? Okay, well I hope more people were able to at least get the bonus points for that tour, I know I was not able to. For those of us who could not, we all missed out on the free gold solo milestone and also missed out on the Rocks Ingot. For me, at this point, there is no reason to work on weekend events anymore. Thanks.
The rest of the tours I had no issue with. Even the challenge mode was a struggle, but that was welcomed. I did not get Charlotte, so I have no comment on her tour.
As far as the weekend event store items, since I was already limited on how many tokens I could get, (from the rock tour and SD css) I walked away with a cheap plate that we all already received from a previous event. No thought went into the store, just another copy and paste.
It's funny, the more difficult these events become, the more time I take away from this game. I do miss the days when I would look forward to daily reset, new mlc reveals and weekend events. Now i just log in, do what I can to help my faction and log out. I worked hard on my roster for how limited it is, but this MLC has just been lacking. Last MLC did not hit. This weekend event was a disappointment.

I feel the css for the weekend tours was very restrictive. Requiring a rock to beat a high 6*s was rough for most people. Especially when you out solo points as the bonus css. Making it very hard for ftp to hit the gold chest. You shouldn’t be discouraging that crowd. You should be encouraging them to see the rewards they get and then see what else they could get in the bonus levels by spending money. I feel the css for the showdown was fair. Just wish there were more energy so you could attempt to grind a bit if you don’t have the css required.

This week road tour to require The Rock was a bad idea. Do the people who come up with this actually play the game?
0 -
Showdown itself wasn't bad, requirements being open is always positive. The major issue comes with the grind where you have to break certain gems over and over again, using the same character over and over again which ruins all the fun we could have during this mode because people opt to go for slow and boring matches instead of using their best since this works better for faction points. The concept now is bad but can be good if we replace by a "deal x damage with insert color move/gem" method, which still keeps the door open for specific types of gems but rewards speed/damage.
Solo and CSS i still think could be ajusted and be a little better. Even with some spending you don't get rewarded properly on solo while CSS focus heavily on premium posters for bigger points. And one aspect that could help the grind, where promoter coins are a factor, gets stuffed by the lack of IOW tokens (add to SD prize wall duh!).
Prize wall i also think way overpriced for what we can get in return. It's the typical go big or go home scenario. It would be a lot better with proper cost balance.

This new format basically forces everyone in a top faction to run the game on auto-pilot for 28 straight hours trying to maximize energy and faction points, in this case purple and botch gems. If you weren't lucky enough to have Tech Steiner or similar running auto, the time investment was significant. This has been the formula for the last few showdowns and it would be nice to see a change soon. The prizewall currency counted toward faction contest points but was an afterthought. Perhaps heavily weighing the prizewall currency as the primary faction contest point method would be an option. It places an incentive on both gameplay to reach milestones with prizewall currency and spending to reach bonus solo milestones without consuming an entire weekend.
The timing of the faction contest leaderboard rewards could be improved. In my case, the rewards were surprisingly generous and the end result was more prizewall currency than expected. A nice problem to have but I would have spent even more if there was still prizewall currency available to reach a desired option. I think overall spending would increase if the leaderboard bags came in at least two hours before the end of the entire event.
I felt the solo milestones were fair, able to get a couple bonus even without clearing the Rock tour. Solo SD leaderboards helped supplement which was nice. A more generous prizewall would always be appreciated.

Showdown showcase 1. I like that it was open on offensive 1 slot.
Limited time was ok except for the Rock and Stonecold tour most don't have tech, final boss, mem rock or a 50% gem of 50%gem def strap to put on showboat or Blue Chipper Rock. Stonecold and Rock tour should've no requirements but winning with Stonecold and Rock gets bonus rewards.
Prizewall was good
Charlotte Flair is a powerful card good job with her.

Horrible event. I've gotten the Gold chest in the weekend event every week since the awful Bodacious Becky flash feud, but I came up short this week. Why? The Rock requirement on the Friday tour. No option to use anybody else for non-CSS points? If you don't have Final Boss, Nation of Domination, or maybe MEM, you don't get to do the tour on the higher levels. Absolutely terrible decision that I hope is not a sign of things to come in the future. And for the love of God, please lower the difficulty on these Tours, why is TWO 6SB's and then a 6SS? Power creep needs to be slowed down a little.
Showdown was whatever. At least I could get plenty of coins. The fact that CSS'es require both doing damage with Final Boss Rock AND winning a match with him too? How about giving people some other options?
Prizewall was tremendously paywalled like always. Thanks for letting me save all my measly medallions to get a whopping 15 Chelsea Green shards.
Don't really feel like saying anything else other than "Do better", but we know you won't.

Overall, I enjoyed the weekend. The fueds were solid and the dropping off the fued league requirements helps now with 6sg in the mix and longer matches.
It would have been nice if the Rock shard token pulls would have guaranteed at least a minimal amount of Rock shards for the largest pull. Even 15-25 shards would have made that feel more worth it.
0 -
even with spending more than I should had … got nowhere near anything and the pulls were crap … so you win again scopley another crappy event
0 -
overall contest was okay.. chance to get the shards was very less.
It was impossible to get the superstar without spending money
0 -
I enjoy the new MLC changes.

They must rethink events that have showdowns. Because it is never possible to reach the golden chest milestone without spending real money.

This is just sloppy. Why refer to the weekend as bow down to the queen and then focus everything on Rock in particular and males more generally? Yes, I see her more dedicated contest is coming, fine whatever, this is just an unforced error.
Other than that and the Rock heavy tours that require perenially crappy versions of the Rock...it was fine. Standard showdown fare. I'm down with that.
Prizewalls continue to be crap, but they always have been.
I would really like to see some sort of prizewall that we can hoard our unspent currencies into over several months, however i am certain if you did that you would price it into uselessness as well so what's even the point.

Showdowns have kind of become what they are at this point. No chance of getting the bonus solo points if you don't have rare css as well as maxed coin promoters for every class (nevermind how impossible that is with the severe lack of iow tokens). And even then if you miss out on a few energy you have no chance to do it.
Now the rock tour, to have to use blue chipper rock for most people was just unfair for any bonus rewards. He's terrible and any decent rock costs people an arm and a leg now. (I get your a business and trying to get people to chase the rare Rocks in loot but let's be real the chances are slim to none) Other than that the contest was pretty standard for a showdown

The rock tour (The Rock is cooking) requiring NoD Rock, MeM Rock or Blue Chipper Rock is just ruthless. 2 very rare posters and 1 that was never good in any meta. Especially when the only Rock I have is Blue Chipper and the old SB Rock. Both of those posters are so far out of date. Both of them have a hard time kicking out of gem cascades with full hp. I really wish there was another poster required for the bonus. Blue Chipper cannot even complete hard mode. Considering how tight points are, I have already thrown in the towel this weekend, as I will miss out on the gold milestone for the solo contest. This just feels awful. Missing out on the Rocks Ingot makes it even worse.

i loved this weekend event was really enjoyable from what i can see charlotte looks very good would love to obtain her to add to my female roster

The 1.8 million milestone in the showdown contest continues to be largely unattainable for the majority of the player base. It would be nice if that wasn't so pay-walled but I understand why it is. Also, it would have been nice to have a mixed tag event this past weekend with the release of Charlotte. The events for the women's roster have been few and far between lately and it would be great if we could have a few more women's events soon. Other than that, all was good.

I think it was quite good as I was able to earn enough final boss shards to recruit him
0 -
Yeah overall the contest is good but not having the right superstars for the for the contest is hard especially if your a free to play player
0 -
First I want to thank you for 400 shards of the rock without that I was not able to get him
I have no complaints about Charlotte flair because she is doing millions of damage in turn 1
Please include showdown coins in showdown leader

I think the key drawing needs to be revised or better chances that you won't get good characters in there and draw them too and not always just the c and b tiers. The weekly event was ok, but there should be more chances for new or lower level players who have just started to get some of the rewards.0 -
I'll echo what others have said, the briefcases need a major overhaul. Getting 20 shards of a character I already have is almost completely useless, especially when those are considered to be big pulls.
Loot coins still need to Gove mlrs value.
Weekly medallion prizewalls need to be better. 15 shards of roman and Chelsea? Come on. Should be at least 50 on those.
I will say the MLC emblems wall is a HUGE W. There's so much more value there, that's making me push the blitz milestones further as the emblem rewards are finally worth it. Thank you for easing the diamond 5 star crunch.

Honestly don't mind SD events just feel the last few events have been super css paywalled for people who don't have some of them.... Would like to see more tour rewards like coins and to and medals and stuff in the loot boxes over the health we get back for grinding showdown.... Pretty solid event so far this month

Css were decent enough, I know the Rock one was tough but otherwise it wasn't too bad
The actual SD wasn't different from the norm, but I had the css this time so a lot more progress than normal there
Please for the love of God get away from the grind format. Set and leave is not gameplay, its not interesting and it's not fun. I don't want to sit there for 12 hours farming high health opponents for points
Otherwise chill weekend
