What exactly is not working?

I tried to install the app on a Kindle Fire HD 8 since my phone is having issues and the web portal is not working. When the screen pops up asking if I'm a New Player or Returning Champion, I click Returning Champion. I tried BOTH methods of account verification on the device. Both times, it tells me it worked, only to start the game again as if I hadn't verified the account, asking if I'm a New Player or a Returning Champion as if I never did anything in the first place.

The title screen.

When or since when did it happen?

I tried it just now. It refuses to work.

Every time.

Kindle Fire HD8
