What exactly is not working?

I have the "Here comes the money " subscription, but no full Champion club access or at least i don't have any superstar unlocked and i have 332 superstars on my roster. Is there something i'm missing? or how can i get a superstar that i can do the champion events with? It's the only reason i subscribed to it and if i can't enter it, then there's no further reason to stay subscribed to it.
