    Listen, I understand yall lose licensing to certain superstars and can no longer use their lieness, so why have yall not reskinned all the old character were as a new player I can obtain them... dean ambrose,,rezar,,,you know who I mean.. BRODIE LEE...how can you expect us to have them in expeditions and such.. when you haven't offered them in years... been playing 1.5 yrs myself...

    We need to stop asking for free rerolls. Even if its free there's nothing in there worth the coins.

    We played the game and earned the rewards, they should not be able to just take them away because they decided to finally make an overdue update.

    I have 1.2 million showdown coins. There is no way I can spend them down. Could you give us bags of Star fragments in exchange for them? That or bags that would contain something that would have typically been found in the SD store? One bag for every 10k shards would be something…

    I think Scopely should leave it at that with SD coins. Scopely must ONLY update the shop without removing anything and also put back old Stars as many of them are used by players and those who don't have them don't score points. Introducing some new features would not be bad also because the game is getting very boring. After years of playing I have no intention of losing all the SD coins I own.

    1.5 million coins worth nothing in this case as only 7 rerolls upto 25 will get me nothing so any help would be appreciated

    If scopely wants that people had to spend them no problem but yes please make refresh at free so we should not spent our igc too.

    such a big change out of nowhere is not good planning on your behalf at all

    As we need to spend our hard earned sd coins in such a short time i suggest:

    1. Better things in there tp coins tokens and such

    2. Let us refresh freely until it ends

    most agree the Sd shop is outdated and needs a fresh look with new items, but giving 9 days notice to use all our Sd coins, without an alternative solution, like a free reroll, reduce timer etc

    is for sure unfair to all players, especially to those who have been supporting the game since it has started.

    Maybe even convert the coins per player to resources bags or something, like you have done with the DX last month


    i am looking forward to a solution soon and hopefully, we dont get one on the last day, but the sooner the better, so everyone can plan accordingly. But either way without free reroll at the least, you can force people to use own IGC.

    I've seen multiple people suggesting a SD prizewall for faster spending. I think that would be a great idea, but if that's not possible then the free refreshes would be the next best thing.

    If you are renewing the showdown thats really cool , but want us to spend millions of coins members were saving and spend it in just 1 week??? Like how we will spend it since items limited every 24hr , AT LEAST MAKE THE REFRESH FOR STORE IS FREE FOR FEW DAYS SO WE CAN SPEND OUR COINS , ITS USELESS ITEMS AND OUTDATED ANYWAY SO WE ARE NOT GETTING MUCH

    Please set the refresh in the showdown store to free. That’s the only way I will be able to spend down the showdown coins I have.

    Hi guys,

    first it’s good that you do new improvements to the sd and the sd shop BUT how should I’ll spend all my sd coins which I got in stock? There only crap in the sd shop left. Got all the promoters from it. Got so many Hof token that I can’t count them anymore and the amount of tp u can get out of it is very los, also the star fragments r not in the range that is good to pay for. I won’t pay igc to reroll the shop. So how should I be able to spend all the sd coins? If u can give me a good answer for that I will spend my coins if not I don’t have another chance that they will be erased and that nooooooo good and the community won’t like that I think

    Moving the cash from the refresh would be awesome. Or write something into it so we can continue to purchase things from the old shop even after the revamp. Anything would be nice but plenty of people don’t have time to continue to use the sd coins. I also understand that if you have that many then you prob weren’t going to use them so take it as you will.

    I like free refresh the best

    If you want us to spent our saved Coins in such a short time, you have to refill the Shop with more content and make the Reroll for free - there is no way to spend it for me and many of my teammates!

    You should either have free rerolls, compensate for the coins you're removing, or have a loot you can do where pulls cost 'x' amount of showdown coins, like 1,000 to 10,000 per pull where you can get high amounts of shards and 5* posters of the original guys in the game as the guaranteed pull.

    Definitely would love for Scopely to provide free rerolls during this time because having 700+ in Showdown coins to be thrown away is not the move

    I know that I may be the low man in the group, but PLEASE institute a prize wall, or free refreshes for us to spend our showdown coin. I still have several thousand with nothing much to spend on, as I have the IOW characters. PLEASE add hacksaw, big show gear, or wolf pack Sting as extra incentive to spend wisely. PLEASE.

    I am fine with a new showdown store/setup, it's been needed for at least 2+ years now honestly, and I am fine with starting everyone out at zero to make it fair.

    What I am not happy with is something that's happened frequently which is a lack of timely communication. I refuse to believe that the decision to make, code, implement, release, etc a showdown revamp was made 10 seconds before the post on February 16th.

    If you're going to make a major change like this, why not communicate it ahead of time? If this post was made in say January 2023 and we're given a 2 month notice then I'd say it's fair and timely, and I'd argue against anyone who'd complain about being able to spend their coins.

    Giving me a weeks notice to spend 1M+ showdown coins is literally impossible without using my IGC, which I shouldn't have to (along with everyone else) for items I earned, let me repeat EARNED, through countless hours and hours and hours of grinding and playing and building my roster.

    The minimum thing that can be done is allow for free refreshes this coming week in order for people to spend, or provide an alternative prize wall for people to cash them out.

    So I play during the weekends, gain sd coins , save them and then you say — nope, they are going away? How does that logically make sense ? What passionate feedback did you hear that is made you come up with an update but are so effectively managing to piss off the whole community? I am not sure how you guys think this is something you guys can get away with.

    You let people build them up for years and then give a weeks notice to spend them? What a joke you should at least let us refresh for free so we can actually spend them even if it’s just for the shards.

    Why would anyone criticise free re-rolls?


    A) changing the items or putting a prize wall is unfair to older players who spent their showdown coins on something else.

    B) you've actually saying you don't have a use for TP and star fragments? ... Yeah okay then.

    C) free re-rolls means we get exactly the same options as the people who spent theirs but we just get them all in one go, rather than over time, which is FAIR.

    For sure would be nice to see free rerolls to echo the masses

    Also for so many with massive amount of saved coins, they should be compensated.

    The one week noticed to echo Ironsheik is not fair to anyone. If anything, they should have 2 months to spend all their SD coins to make it fair, but a few days is not fair game play and harms too many players.

    Please rethink this decision for players and delay if need be and give time to players to spend the coins they earned over the years.

    I have no issue with the revamping of Showdown and the store. My issue is you giving us around 1 week to use all our currency on a store, in which most active players that have been playing for a while has bought all the valuable stuff there anyway. So my suggestion is that you either give us a fair compensation per Showdoin coin we have in our inventory or give us a prizewall to spend them on. Making us pay IGC for rerolls on the store if we don't want to lose our earned Showdown coins is not the way to go in my opinion.

    Yeah, ideally I'd like to be able to spend my showdown tokens as I was figuring they might actually be worth something someday. 12 items a day, 6 of which are shards for people I already have, isn't going to get me there. Set the shop up to do free refreshes, put up a section in the store where you can trade a ton of coins for prizes, something - all this is otherwise is just another example of pulling the rug on the userbase out of nowhere.

    I hear statements like "out of fairness" and "listening to the players", well this is the perfect situation for Scopely to put their actions where the statements are.

    This post has had more replies than most if not all Announcements. It has over 1.1K views and almost 150 replies so far.

    How will Scopely address this and the continued responses? Will there even be more information from Scopely? Will they listen to the players and come up with something different?

    Scopely - This is where you show the truth behind the comments like out of fairness and listening to players. Put up or don't talk the talk.

    Constructive Recommendation - Read the other 150 replies and make a better choice than what is being done since it is obvious that people are not happy.

    Will we have the same IOW superstar shards in the new shop? I'm wondering if it's worth purchasing shards toward recruiting these characters if we can't recruit them before the reset...
