If Scopely takes away the coins that I earned without proper compensation, that's basically stealing. What's next, we're phasing out coins in the game for w Coins and yours will be worthless.

There is nothing in the store to buy other than 20 star fragments. At least up the star fragment count and give free re-rolls so we can spend them These are coins that we earned how could you not think people are going to be mad and want more than 9 days notice to spend a million showdown coins?? The fact you came up with the solution of we are going to delete the coins says books about the thought process going into this.

I'm glad it is getting re-worked but this ain't right.

I'm excited for the much needed update to the SD shop and event, but I would strongly suggest making the rerolls for the shop either free rerolls or change it to to use SD coins to reroll as a way to facilitate the usage of the coins.

For the most part the stuff in the showdown store is pure garbage, who needs 5TP when 6* requires 1500.

So let me get this right .. Less than 10 days to use up all your Showdown Coins

.. How is that fair or right ?? Unless you increase the amount of shards we are getting for IOW ?? Or just make them available for purchase ( The cards / Superstar ) now that's fair.. This doesn't give the player base enough time to spend their coins ..

What would be a truly fair transition is to reward loyal, long time players who have saved up their showdown coins in anticipation of being able to spend them on better things after a reset such as this by NOT resetting their coins so that they can spend them on the new things that they have been saving up for!

There is adequate time for you to cash in your showdown coins. Use cash refreshes. Timing is perfect.

We either need free rerolls this week to use up the coins we have earned since we started the game…

or make a new currency and let the old sd coins be used to reroll with you can’t just take away coins u made us grind for all this time and nothing worth using them on.

some ppl have over 2 mill I’m fine making it fair or reworking it but giving us one week to use 2+ mill sd coins and no free rerolls is in no way fair

A simple solution in my eyes would be to make the refresh cost free. If you are expected to be able to spend all the coins you have accumulated, it's only fair that you're also provided a fair opportunity to do it. But if Scopely's track record is anything to go by, I would not hold my breath over it.

I grind for coins that I have no reason to spend them and now you just disregard my time as not important.... I've been supporting you since the early days but this is just a plain middle finger to all of us that put a lot of time into this community just cause we love it.

It is entirely unrealistic to expect us to spend millions of SD coins in 9 days. Especially when you will require cash to do so.

Possible solutions to spend the coins faster are:

1) Prize wall

2) Trade in system like was sober for VIP blitz

3) Free SD rerolls

I would like to echo much of the sentiments shared already. On one hand, I will say I am excited at the prospect of a SD revamp but the current idea of trying to spend well over a million coins is very frustrating.

It would be nice to see some sort of change before the shift over. Whether it be free refreshes, scaling up items massively (I.e. more shards, more frags, more to), or something along those lines. It would just be very nice to see the community be able to spend the coins they all worked hard for without having to spend extra money.

Something needs done in order to allow us to spend these coins without spending igc in order to allow us the maximum benefit for using these. This is crazy to do something this major on a week's notice with no plan in place to assist in those that have thousands upon millions of showdown coins saved up with no way to spend. A better option would be to create a prizewall that had the same basic items found in the showdown shop and make them unlimited for purchase until the relaunch. This is tantamount to Scopely stealing resources from the players! Not Acceptable!

While I agree that a change to the showdown market is a good thing and well needed.

you have to look at this from a players perspective. There hasn’t been anything worth purchasing in the showdown market for quite some time. I personally have approximately 800,000 showdown coins and there are people I know that have triple that. Giving us a week to spend this currency is insane, especially considering that to be able to reset the showdown shop in game currency is required. to acquire in game currency, Apple users, such as myself, are completely screwed. Because that means for Apple users that we have to purchase ingame cash. To be able to reset the store to be able to spend all this current see that we’ve been stockpiling for likely years. So either A. we need more time or B. you don’t reset the currency.

currently 3.14 mil saved up ... and by saved up i mean nothing has been worth while spending on for the last 2 + years. so please provide a solution that doesnt include millions of coins.

like the free reroll and or price wall ideas that are being mentioned by many others.

during the last revamp or should i say changing sd shop items no coins were removed. why do it this time around?

So my only full-on complaint about this is erasure of our current showdown coins is that this should not cost the playerbase... no money. No igc. It shouldn't cost US because YOU decided to change something up. Thats not fair to the playerbase.

Even if you dont want to make it free,, even If you want to charge us 45 ShowDown coins per refresh, by all means go ahead. But the igc is honestly unacceptable. There's nowhere near enough time to go through the amount of coins the average player has withOUT being required to spend money. That in itself is a joke.

The shop being reworked into something else? I'm honestly looking quite forward to it. Its been LONG overdue. But to get rid of our current coins? Very suspect... on top of that limiting us in the small timespan we have as well as still charging us is a horrific decision to have left the playerbase with. I hope that plenty of others let their words be heard, but that MOST OF ALL? You just listen to the community for once, because this is truly just wrong.

With only a week and re rolls costing IGC, there is no way to spend them all in this time. Free re rolls would be a solution or allowing more time for us to spend. Most items are outdated now so there really is little incentive to spend the rare IGC on them.

How about a similar system to the shards whereby current showdown coins equate to 1/5th of the new ones ? Definite free refreshes needed in interest of fairness for those who have a lot to spend ..

This is not a fair policy to require us to spend all coins by FEb 25th.

I have about 250K becuase I don't waste my resources I've accumulated in this game. Now I have to just blow them away in 10 days.

They need to make the 'refresh' showdown store FREE to do (and not cost cash). So I can spend the coins on things I would want - not just waste them.

I hope someone rethinks this quickly and can make this more 'fair' than what they are doing.

This is an extremely disappointing announcement on many levels. First, many people have saved up SD coins in the hopes of better items to purchase at some point. Second, this announcement does not provide anywhere near enough time to spend the coins without using other game resources (in-game cash).

There should either be much better items available between now and the end of the current SD coins, an exchange system, or a reward with the new currency for what players currently have. Without this, this decision makes the time put into getting these coins meaningless. It also will undermine trust that other resources simply won’t be tossed aside in the future.

I've been playing this game daily for years & have accumulated over 1 million SD coins. For you to arbitrarily decide to erase these coins show that your have little regard for your loyal players. Give us some way to spend these coins before you just take them away.

I have 1.4 mill saved coins and no time to even blow throw any substantial amount. Heck even if you did a 3-1 or 4-1 for the new shop that would as least be a win for the players. Heck make it 50-1 least we don’t lose out on everything we worked hard for.

I have approximately 1.8m SD coins and it will be impossible to spend those by the 25th.

I know people are asking for free refreshes, but even then, I do not believe it’s an option with the low prices of the items and the size of the SD store.

What I like to see is a SD prizewall in the store that has all of the items that were in the SD store or resources we can exchange the coins for. Resources I like to see are like star fragments like the ones in the last event’s prizewall, different gears for superstars that are relevant to today’s meta, tp or tp bags, coins, different straps, some IOW posters or shards, tokens including the new gold HoF tokens.

What I was waiting for, but never came once I hit 200k was the Trix Big Show gear. I know the superstar is not revelant in todays meta, but I would had worked him high enough to do one of the tour match that required him. Been really getting star fragments and tp mainly ever since I got all the IOW characters from the store.

It would go a long way in my eyes if Scopely could do this for the player base instead of just wiping everything that was earned in SD and start fresh.

It's ridiculous that we can't get some kind of compensation for all of the coins we worked hard for. If you're going to change something, change the diamonds or the other stupid tokens that nobody uses.
