If you want to do this the right way and the most fair way, free refreshes makes sense and treat it like a greatest hits type thing by putting some of the faves back in rotation like Red Sting.

Allow us unlimited rerolls. At least a weeks time worth before removing showdown coins , otherwise this some bullshit

You need to come up with a solution for this cluster quickly since there are many of us with millions of SD coins that need to be spent. We should not have to worry about losing the SD coins that we spent years and many hours to obtain.
Would be nice if you would actually acknowledge that we are unhappy about losing all our SD coins because no one is going to or should have to use in-game cash for rerolls. It would also be nice if you would provide an update on what your plans are now for this issue due to everyone's frustration and anger.
Since you always like to throw around the words "fair / fairness", you need to do what is right and fair.

Agree with what everyone said above. You're punishing players for saving coins because your game economics, for this currency, were not scaled appropriately (much like the bronze HoF tokens). To remedy, please consider one of the following:
A.) Unlimited free re-rolls in the current store so we can spend down
B.) Temporary prize wall to spend coins on
C.) Allow us to convert coins to the new currency.
Please do not punish players while hiding behind the "to keep competitive balance and promote fairness" moniker; it rings hollow and further isolates players.

I don’t understand the logic or fairness in taking our coins away. It seems that a lot of people are saying the same thing. Why are we being punished for saving our coins over the years?? We’ve spent years saving these up in case something good came along. I had over 1 million saved up. Now, you give us very little time to use them or lose them??!! It would be nice to:
- Have unlimited free refills.
- Allow us to have our coins converter to the new currency? Why should we be penalized for being loyal players and saving our coins for literally years?
- Have better prize wall options to buy things we may need.
- Allow us to convert our coins into IGC or buy pulls.

Speaking of logic and fairness, why on earth is there a midweek Showdown this week when we're already complaining about not being able to use all of the coins we have saved?

I have left my response a few days ago regarding the SD coin issue . And again another day has passed with no communication regarding this from Scopely.
Is there any update on their resolution to the removal of SD coin in a few days that allot of the community has voiced their opinion/displeasure about?
Also why have an event where we get the in game currency of SD coins that are going to be obsolete (taken away) in a few days. Not the brightest idea.

Pushing this out a week while still leaving a huge amount of uncertainty AND running an event heavily based on the currency you claim to be about to eliminate is really unprofessional.

I spent real cash to buy in game dollars so I could buy refreshes to spend my points by the original February end date. Now I find out the refreshes are going to be free and the date to spend the points is now 3/4. Once again long time players are getting screwed. How do I get my money back or get some in game credit?

I was directed here by in game support to vent my frustrations with this.
I've been hunting hacksaw Jim Duggan for going on years at this point. I have a roster over 6m, and cant pull a lousy c tier even after tens of thousands of paid game cash refreshes.
And now I'm going to lose the opportunity to fulfill my completionist dreams. I was fed this generic template response which didn't address my concern.
Now their telling me to look for in game offers to give even more real money to buy this superstar. I highly doubt he's going to be made available via offers.
We really need a chance to refresh SD shop, not paid to spend our exuberant amount of SD coins on what we want and not that generic swill on the prize wall.
At this point I'd even spend 1m SD coins on Hacksaw.
Super disappointing yet again, and before you say go back to support, they always pass the buck and send us back here.
Constant run around with feedback.
Are there actually plans to make Hacksaw available? Please say yes. Can't pull a damn c tier, ridiculous imo.

It would be nice to know if the items from the current store that are not on the prizewall (Hacksaw, Wolfpac Sting, Bigshow gear, etc) are going to be in the new store and thats why they aren't on the prizewall.

Jesus christ this Prize Wall response is BAFFLING. Like I don't care about the cash, I would have liked to be notified this was going to happen to save my coins for better rewards, but you guys openly asked us to spend our coins ASAP for barely any good reward and now you pull this. Those who did nothing now get rewarded. Excellent.
I just have a glimmer of hope that since the Showdown closure has been delayed you AT LEAST do 2 more Tournaments and shower us with enough coins to get something decent, because the handling of this has been ATROCIOUS.

I’d like to echo the other comments here..to have a Anniversary event and celebrate years of the game, only to update ShowDown ( Finally, YaY! Excited about that ) with the caveat of telling the players that have accrued tokens for years that our efforts are basically worthless is such a bad decision. There are many ways to do this better and I hope something is done. You can give unlimited refreshes for the current store, use the currency to refresh instead of cash, create a prizewall to use them for better prizes, ect. To basically ignore years of players effort is definitely the wrong message to send in a annivers

As someone who uses his SD coins frequently for star fragments and TP, I still have 325k, which I can’t spend without using in game cash (which I’m low on). I’m still working on my last SD IOW wrestler (Orton).
Some players hoard their resources which you don’t like, but it’s not their fault there wasn’t anything they were interested in. You could have increased the TP and Fragment offers, offered gear that someone might not have, Santa Hogan tokens, or shards for wrestlers you can’t offer in loot pulls.
Requiring players to spend money to do refreshes isn’t fair. Which is the only way to spend that many SD coins in a short period of time.
I support the idea of free refreshes or a prize wall. I also support keeping the original SD open for an extended period of time, so players can spend the coins.
