IMPORTANT: SHOWDOWN COINS RESET (3/04)

Seconding the request for Wolfpac Sting. Maybe have him recruitable at 4B for 100k coins(about where Striker Vince is, iirc).

Please make refreshes free or provide an alternate way to spend the coin, not fair to not give an appropriate way to spend the coins before taking them away

While most of the community surely agrees that the changes to sd have been overdue and are welcomed, the way it is handled needs to be adjusted.

Long time players have millions of sd coins stocked up and there is no real chance to spend them in such a short period of time.

It is bad enough that it is expected for the community to "waste" all of their earned sd coins on more or less useless stuff.

But to expect this to be done within such short notice can´t be the solution here.

There are several ways to handle this in a better way like removing the refresh costs of the sd shop for the time being, introducing a prize wall for the sd coins (this could for example provide an option to change the sd coins into another store currency like stip/marquee/faction coins) or even introduce a grindable content like blitz with sd coins as "buy in" for example.

Fact is: We definitely need a better solution for this than the one currently provided by Scopely!

There are so many great ideas and suggestions in this post so far, but I believe there should be one singular solution. There should be a prize wall opened and ALL inventory that has ever been offered in the Showdown Shop should be put up for us to purchase whatever we want and unlimited times. I feel it should not be free re-rolls and be left up to luck like a coin pull. We should be able to buy exactly what we want from the SD shop. This is fair to all newer and veteran players. Players who have played for years can stock up on items that are still useful such as TP, Star Fragments and maybe IOW shards or full Superstars that have evade them. The newer players can load up on all the above and/or buy IOW shards and maybe earn those Superstars to help them with their Stipulation Tours.

I do agree that resetting to 0 for a brand-new Showdown and Shop maybe fair to all players. However, we need to be allowed to spend them freely and without limitations.

While I welcome this change, as its long, long overdue, we should not be penalized for playing and grinding daily, mid-week and weekend SD events for as long as a lot of us have, just to be told our hard-earned currency is just going away, if we don't spend it. As it stands now, we would need to waste our IGC to do so, which is extremely unfair and a lot of players may not have the IGC to even do so.

As somebody with over a million coins I think it would be a neat idea to give out some better rewards in the shop for a limited time or free rerolls please. Just feels a bit silly to say spend them up when I can buy out the whole shop everyday and be nowhere near spent out.

It's not fair to do this with the store in its current format.

The reroll cost needs to be removed completely in order for us to spend what we have saved.

But you guys never updated the shop making us all have abnormal amounts of unspendable currency. How about those millions of coins yall have made us earn for years. 🤷

This sucks..I have about a million..no way I can spend them all..not that much in there thats worth anything to me.....Maybe put a SD coin prizewall up and let people choose some better rewards if we gotta spend them all...This is worse than if u just let everybody keep what they have and just update it and let people buy stuff..Alot of people will just lose them

Have a free reroll day, problem fixed.

it’s really unfair to us players who collect and hold on to coins to be able to get the resources we need to move further in a game that’s becoming way more pay to play as the years go on due to declining active player base. by punishing players who earned coins and not having enough time to spend them is just another way of showing the player doesn’t matter. if you keep making things more difficult and expensive the player base will go away all together. do what’s right…..you know what that is.

The SD never really had anything worth getting. The trash 5 to 10 TP. The minimal amount of star fragments at 20 to 100, and more 20 thrift it the month than any other amount, when you need over 1500 to fill in 4*and above for almost. Tokens for Chyna? What a joke that's always been.

The fact we won't be compensated is an insult to drag us into the predatory micro transactions.

We should either receive some massive cover grabs for the Icons at a decent cost of SD coins, increased values for star fragments, no 2*tokens should exist in there. Who the Hell still has a 2* character on their roster that isn't a freebie?

There should be more superstar grabs that can only be obtained by covers or even in loot grabs.

And by compensation, that does not mean giving us over 100 health packs in any way shape or form. We get enough in the daily log in and most limited time tour nodes.

We need to be catered to instead of getting screwed over for every thing that gets redone. For someone who has enough to spend in the shop each day for everything, I'll still have a while lot left over. And no I'm not spending my in game cash to reset just to spend all my coins. That's dumb!

Give us fair trades that'll coincide with the MLC or the next MLC, or even just in game shards that isn't 10k shards for characters that don't need that much for(who needs 32k shards for tech Booker T?)

With all the above comments, I got a single question... will the "Icons of Wrestlemanina" character shards still be available for us to get somewhere...? These are critical to gameplay in other aspects of the game... specifically the stipulation tours. I will be pretty angry if they are no longer available with a relatively easy game play function to attain them. The "star fragments and training points" are also very helpful over the long haul, cumulatively they do add up.

Maybe add other ways to spend your SD coins before the reset? its not very long notice giving the large amount of Showdown Coins I presume a lot of us have
