Can't equip trainers, coaches

What exactly is not working?

When attempting to equip trainers or coaches, pressing the 'Set' button results in the game not responding to the command other than the button press animation. Trainers and coaches properly unequip, but do not equip to new characters, and appears to be random between trainees (Some characters do not accept any trainers/coaches) and some trainers/coaches can't be equipped to anyone. Both of these can toggle at seemingly random intervals, meaning later on a character can accept trainers/coaches again

Roster Manage page, Entourage tab

What are the steps to reproduce it?

Go into the Entourage tab for an affected character, attempt to equip a trainer or coach

When or since when did it happen?

Several weeks, intermittently

How often do you experience this issue?

Intermittently, with a minority of characters (Tech Damien Priest, various gem/move damage coaches) - I had few issues with preparing for a prior feud, but gearing characters up for tours has been significantly more difficult

What device are you playing on?

Attempted to do so on an iPad and web portal, both produce identical effects

iPad OS 15.6; Google Chrome v105.0.5195.102

What have you tried so far to fix it on your side?

Restarting app instance, attempting on different platforms, attempting to equip the same trainer on multiple different characters (SB Chad Gable works on Alundra Blayze, but not on Tech Damien Priest)
