The best SD event in a long, long time! While it was noticeable that recruiting Jimmy from the event was very difficult, many players walked away from the event with a new character and their own choice of rewards.

    • PRIZEWALL: A strong selection of rewards to choose from. Offering shards of previous SD characters is awesome, and skill plate options for those who want to spend is a great model for future showdown events.
    • 1400 LEAGUE: I understand some players will struggle to hit the 1400 notoriety mark, but showdown needed this change. The mode had become very stale because it has been far too easy. It was nice that the higher league also had an increased amount of SD coins. As a minor complaint, this change should have been included in the blog.
    • MILESTONES: Players were actually incentivized to spend to reach the additional bonus milestones (other than the final milestone which was quite expensive). The bonus milestones were within reach with some spending, and this combined with the prizewall medallions gave players a reason to spend for milestones.
    • RUBY MARKET: The changes made to the ruby market were really good. Costs were more reasonable overall and some good shards/posters were common.
    • SD TOURNAMENT TIMING: If there is no showdown side-event, I would like to suggest extending the showdown tournament to 48 hours. This would give players more opportunity to play their CSS matches as well as more time to climb to the 1400 league for players who struggled with this. Some players weren't aware of the change and couldn't quite make the mark in time.
    • FACTION EVENT: Reasonable scoring methods allowed players to hit their 1% without a time restriction. The bags in milestones saw many players recruit some older characters that they were missing shards for.

Spent more money then I wanted to, can’t complain cause I got two superstars I didn’t have. But the chase for this event (jey uso) still seems impossible. You lower the shards required yet the possibility is so far that’s it’s becoming repetitive. 2000 shards no shot, 1600 shards no shot, to be honest if you lowered it to 1000 I still could t be able to recruit him…. The solo event I didn’t have enough time to play that many matches for all the wrestlers I had to increase my score… was very frustrating knowing o had a lot or wrestlers but could not fulfill the matches due to time restrictions.

One thing I would incorporate is being able to exchange duplicate gears for some coins or tokens. Love playing the game and the faction events have gotten better recently.

Overall positive event. Love that the faction event didn’t have a cap on talent up so that all faction mates would get a chance to participate. Faction events should be about coming together and achieving a goal rather than competing for a limited number of points.

Happy that a significant number of the milestones were attainable with little or no spend, but the number of required bonus matches felt too high.

Enjoy the updates to this contest. The gameplay was more accessible to various skill levels. However, some of the special characters needed are pretty hard to get.

The recent trend of getting the feature within 24 hours basically being the requirement needed to max the competition is frustrating. As is the overall lack of shard drops for the feature. I got 50 shards for Uso; I got 0 shards for Vince. I’ll be saving my money going forward with those poor ratios.

This event was more restrictive than some, requiring some high level toons that many haven’t levelled for the bonuses. I actually don’t mind that, played with some buried superstars this weekend and in a MM SD, it didn’t stop your progress if they were unlevelled.

I didn’t like how few shards were included in the Sunday tour compared to some past events.

Polish up the animations. Hitting a signature move then having the character default to the middle of the ring is getting old. If you K.O an opponent, give us a different pin animation. He's knocked out, his legs shouldn't be moving. Fix the USO splash. It looks like a botch attempt at a frog splash.

Big fan of newer tiered system of showdown coins. Enjoyed the new bonus, but happy to see the old bonus still exists. That should remain the same.

Shard wall was great. Especially including recent Characters that others might be short on.

Most rewarding solo event in a while. Worth the grind for once.

This game is rather addicting. It seems simple enough, but only when I made it to my current faction I realized how to idealize (as much as possible) my roster to make the most out of every event. For that, codos.

As for feedback on the current event:

it really frustrates that so much is depending on the new character. 0.5 mil of solo event points is no joke. And I do understand that, however I see guys on my faction that get the new character out of the tour bags almost regularly, and I never do.

plus, I recall having another tour with the option of getting extra solo event points, which we didn’t get this time around. I just really wish you gave us better opportunities to reach milestones. I don’t mind the grinding and the long minutes I’ll have to put into it, but I’d love to have the chance to gain more. If not reaching those mysterious bonus milestones, then at least maxing the regular ones.

This weekend’s SD event is a bit of a change from the norm.

I really enjoyed the prizewall and the extra tier of 1400 notoriety the most from this event. I was able to get Stephanie with the prizewall. Getting extra SD coins from the new max tier was a good thing as it kept me engaged in the SD tourney. Was able to get a couple of solo milestones that I wouldn’t have in the old format.

The bad was the tours and chances to get tech Jimmy. Just seem like it was really difficult to get him and the lack of solo points in the tours was disappointing. The CSS requirement for the Sunday’s tour felt misleading as Jey Uso was required in the second slot where the blog had Jimmy in the second slot.

Overall, it was a good event. Got Stephanie and Peter from the event and am happy with that.

    Feedback for Jimmy SD Event:

    Positives

    • The increase to 1400 notoriety was great to provide additional SD coins and help move the milestone achievements. This is the first time most of us could reach milestone 14 out of 16 without heavy spending so thank you for this.
    • Ruby store seems like it went through some changes that are really positive for the player base. The fact that a lot of us could recruit new superstars is awesome especially for characters who are still fairly new. Please continue doing this every week!
    • Ruby Milestones included character shards which seemed very reasonable so happy to use the rubies I had saved to unlock Head of the Table Roman.
    • The SD tournament was perfect. No complains for me. The fact that you allowed double dipping of points and capped it at 100 is perfect for me to get everything done 5 hours after reset.
    • SD ran smoothly with match-making and picking up the opponents so no issues there.
    • The SD prize wall is great allowing people to pick up new characters they're close to shard recruiting. Please continue doing this.
    • I much prefer if the first time spend was just once and not spanned out the whole weekend. This is less pressure for me in terms of deciding where I'm at with the milestone and allows me to decide if I want to spend or not.

    Negatives

    • Even though the increase to 1400 notoriety was welcomed it was not known to me at all! Apparently there was mention of this apparently the night before but from all the channels I usually use I personally haven't come across any notification at all! People wouldn't have taken this negatively if this was mentioned on the blog so it gives us a bit of heads up to prepare for. Personally, I wouldn't have even noticed if it wasn't for my faction announcement and I am glad I checked. I finished my usual at 1100 notoriety and turned off the game so if it wasn't for my awesome faction I would have been super pissed not knowing there's not a single mention of this considering the only way you find out from within the game is if you check which league you're on. Heck, you could have at least done an in-game message to our inbox.
    • No SD solo spree this time is a bit of let down. However, it appears this is combined into the solo contest so if that's the case then sure I'm ok with that.
    • There has been a few random times where for no reason after I finished a SD match I come back to the screen and both my superstars have their health depleted. At first I thought it was a visual bug as we're currently experiencing but when the match starts my characters have actually lost health.... WTF.

    Suggestions

    • When the Skill Plate Picker Prize wall was introduced, it was fantastic. However, it's been out for a while now so for older players we've pretty much taken all the Skill Plates we needed and probably aren't in need of any extras. Would be great if you could cycle two different plates prize wall every alternate month. I would love if there's a way to pick up Boss Plate, All Heart, Head Games, Cheap Shot, etc. which used to be available randomly in bags when you've maxed Kick-off talent up previously.

Some great MLC,s recently and new Characters. Just be nice to get at least one without spending lots of money on pulls and getting shard city instead!!!!!

FACTION EVENT: putting points in the tours was a nice change

TOURS: since the contest superstars were so well balanced, you could have put Solo contest points as the extra rewards, together with the faction points as the regular rewards

SHOWDOWN: gotta say, not a huge fan of this new 1400 - 99999999 league, mainly due to the fact that SD weekends should be very little time consuming, opposed to the fact that Feud weekends are heavily time-draining...maybe a 1200 would have been more fair?

SOLO EVENT: much appreciated the graphic for premium milestones

SHARD BAGS: too many characters and too much RNG...not a good thing, as usual

PRIZEWALL: like the fact that you put "old" characters' shards as well as their skill plates, but there should be room for more....TPs, Props, more Coins and also older skill plates, like Boss Plate and Cheap Shot, since you're not willing to put 'em together with the others....of course, since they're old, their cost should be nowhere near as expensive as the newer ones'

I liked this one. Faction points I hardly care for so putting them in the tours was excellent! I just did what i could and concentrated on the solo portion of the showdown. A showdown spree added would have been icing on the cake! But alas.

The css for showdown was grindable and I got resources for my effort which was satisfying. Although I did not have any of the rare ones, there was enough to get to the milestone before the bronze chest.

As for the character, seems underwhelming. So I don't mind if I missed out on him in bags, or his recruitment.

For free to play players, I don't think enough shards were made available for a character that I don't believe is one of the top in the game.

I liked the shards being available for other possible characters and the structure of the faction event.

    CONS:

I was getting targeted too much in the first round. I couldn't keep up. I was literally playing matches (1)at under 1,000 notariety, (2) winning the match to surpass the 1,000 threshold, and (3) getting knocked down below 1,000 by the time I got to the opponent selection screen. There needs to be a limit to this.

There were way too many pay-per-play characters used for bonus points.

    Pros

I like it when HOF evo tokens are in the prizes.

It was mostly the basic showdown event, which is good for a earning fast showdown coins. Not much special or out of the ordinary.

I was happy to see a higher tier available to earn coins, but I didn't know it was there until the event was nearly done.

The new view for the milestones are great showing what's free and the bonus. Also really liked the bags in the faction event rather than putting the one guy in the bags it's a random pack of them please do that again

Decent SD event. I like the introduction of the 1400 level, and it looks like 1000 still gave a decent amount of SD coins for those who didn't reach it. Prizewall was good, picked up the last of the shards needed for Steph, so I still finished the event with a new character, even if it wasn't Uso.

It was a nice event but it’s not nice that u don’t have any chance to get the star with playing the game like zombie Paige! I know that u want to get money but every 6th or 8th contest u can give sth bag to the community

Great Event loved the New Concept.

Hoping that Prize wall remains a constant in upcoming Faction fued and flash fueds.

    Thanks for this great event.

  • it ok but getting the hang of it right now

  • I loved the contest! Didn't have all the participants to complete. The rewards during the contest were good enough to make me keep playing the contest.

this was the worst loot ever since i been playing this game for over 4 years i mean yall was so cheap with jimmy shards that i gave up on even making pulls other then that the rest of the event was pretty amazing and everything was smooth .......... ign Nyce636

Mainly based on the results I had, the overall event felt great. Although the showdown portion was s grind, the extended earnings gave the extra matches value and made the promoters more useful. Regardless of how it was accomplished, the ability to max the faction event easily was great but having faction points in the tour all weekend made them boring once the faction event was maxed. There also should be a clear path from either showdown or tour that allows everyone to score 1% of the points without spending cash or burning resources on health packs or talent up. The new showdown prizewall is a great addition too.

The event has been pretty cookie cutter.

it's fun, and I like showdown over Feud just because it's hard to get the team involved sometimes, but ultimately we've been running the same setup for well over 2 years now on a rotation. The difference seems to be that more money in in game purchases are needed the longer we go on, and I totally don't mind that a ton, but I'm sure it will get to a point where people start quitting the game.

we have resources that are completely ignored. Silver hangers, Gold hangers... I have 27640 silver hangers and NOTHING to buy with them. that number keeps goign up because I keep buying gear pulls and getting stuff I already have. Maybe have a system where you can do a gear pull for 10000 hanger or something? turnbuckles from past events? I have about 8 groups of over 18000 turn buckles each. 25 groups over 12000.

the amount of tokens, turnbuckles, coins, keys, and other things that we all have in our inventory is not putting overdue strain on the servers, or just wasting drive space to track is all. We really need an inventory clean up, and at this point as much as I'd love to get something for this stuff, I would gladly just take the useless crap I can't use anymore being deleted. Every time you guys make a new set of "things" for the MLC you add bloat to the code. Buckles, keys, tokens, etc. it would sure be nice if all the items from the last month transferred into this month even if it's only at a percentage. It would keep the code and the inventory space under control.

What an incredible grind this event was. While the higher end rewards I felt were very much worth it, the time it took to get there was very tough. I spent all day Saturday attempting to get as high as I could, but consistently came against 5sg teams. The faction rewards were satisfying as well.

The daily events could have had both more faction points and more shard opportunities for either Jimmy Uso or another needed character. Pulls this time were very lackluster, as the group of characters are just not that appealing

Would have liked to see - more faction points available daily, more points allocated for rarer characters (Big E Powerhouse or Head of Table Roman), higher end rewards stay consistent with where they were at.

Outside of the grind, this was one of the better reward based events. Hope to see more like this in the future

  • I liked playing the tour i used to play this like 3 years ago and still play it but back then i rarely played cause i was working like an 8 hour job so i barely played till the darn weekend if i remembered to anyway so i am missing a lot of characters that some of these tour's require to use but my IGN is guns n roses25
