Even though I was unable to earn Sheamus in the contest, I thought overall it was a good event. The tour requirements were fair and the grind to complete all of the bonus showdown matches was achievable. My one negative for this event was the faction contest, as the only way to earn points was spending or using health packs, and the milestones were set a little too high with only those scoring options. But overall a fun weekend event!

Mejoro bastante este concurso pero aun les falta trabajo por hacer, y que las recompensas sean mejor, somos muchos los que jugamos este gran juego desde sus inicios y nunca sacamos nada bueno eso no es justo

Matchmaking and required characters/restrictions were good.

It was a total pay to win event, which I'm never a fan of. I'm ashamed to say how much I spent to max it, and still NOT get Sheamus.

Please stop putting indvidual rewards in the faction competitions. Solo points shouldn't rely on your faction, hence the name Solo. Put the faction rewards in the solo competition, that would make sense.

  • Pros- SD was very doable as well as most of the tour.

Cons- offers came out late which people probably didn't account for during event. Impossible to max without spending so the paywall sucks.

    6.5/10

  • Even if you saved your SD tokens from last week the event was not grindable with spending a ton of money or doing a ridiculous amount of TU

The tours were good with a good use of different characters.

The special characters for the showdown was easy to do and not a lot of matches required.

The problem with the contest is that there was no way to grind it out. The only way to max is to spend and I understand that this is a business and the goal is to make money.

I think that in all events there should be a grind portion but make that grind portion hard. People will still spend because they wont want to grind that much.

  • I think what was hard about the showdown contest was doing the bonus characters but only making it to milestone 11 and maxing it.

I get it; money needs to be made; but it seems like the only way to really max is to spend money. That becomes disheartening.

    just my 2 cents

Another contest where you couldn't get the character even if you maxed the event. Another event where you could only reach milestone 12 unless you spent money or saved your showdown coins from the previous event. Free players suffer more and more when you literally have to spend to max the event. Something needs to change.

This event Was rly not that great.

Even if u Max everything there is no chance to get sheamus.

How is that a Motivation in the first place.

And the wirst part was the point Strukturen

There was no way in hell to get even close to Max this event.

Even if u lvl ph chara like 100k talent u are für away with everyrhibg u can do in the showdown.

The only positiv was that u only had to Do 75 extra matches.

    Step it up again pls.

  • All and all, the only thing I'm having trouble with is some of the technical issues. For example, the screeching, unpleasant noise it makes when the board reshuffles, it didn't do that in the past. Or, it doesn't label "NEW" when you get a new medal in your inventory like it did it the past. That was a HUGE help. Please consider adjusting these. Thanks.

  • It was little disappointing because of unable to achieve all milestones unless you spend it and event was relying on massive amount of spending.

    Pros:

    1) Having common cards as required superstars for showdown for bonus points, makes easy to get bonus points with less matches.

    2) Lesser number of matches to grind.

    Cons:

    1) Showdown points should count for both solo and faction contents.

    2) Using of Powerhouse HHH only instead of any HHH, powerhouse HHH is not that strong, that is no-where near any of the opponents in the tour.

    3) The faction part of the contest was purely a spend event.

    4) Massive spend event.

  • The amount of spending needed to max was too high. Dropping £100 should get you to max if you completed everything else. It was a showdown event - showdown should be the main element and not spending.

Was good to be able to do tours with common characters and not all hidden behind ultra rare massive paid ones.

Overall I really liked the event and would give it an 8/10.

    Pros

-I liked the reduction in amount of matches needed to grind to max the event

-I liked that King Shinsuke was required for a tour

-The Sheamus bags were just PH Sheamus or shards

    Cons

-I know it's RNG, but I'm always unlucky with the bags it seems. I maxed the event and didn't get Sheamus, but several of my teammates and others I saw online got him twice, so it was just like the APA JBL event for me

-Very spend heavy to max both on the solo and faction portion

1 step forward, but 4 steps back...this pretty much sums up the whole contest...

Good contest superstars, but miserable rewards

SD coins counting towards the Solo, but not towards the Faction Event is unconceivable, they're both SD event

Nice matchmaking, but the premium part of the Solo was larger than usual and than it should be

Fixed amounts of shards in the bags, but too few bags, basically I used to gather more with random amounts...

In short: add more viable point methods to both Solo and Faction event, improve the rewards, add more shard bags to the tours or events' milestones and SD coins should be a MUST for both solo and faction event, always!

  • I would like to suggest giving us an alternative way to earn the 3 million points that could only be obtained by having the character we were chasing in the event. I'm suggesting that as someone who only got to 14/16 in the event, that included having the weekly and event showdowns maxed, and most the tour points other than from the chase character. I finished in around a few hours each day and couldn't go further since the 75 matches from the other event characters were done quickly also. Perhaps letting us continue to get points for those lesser matches instead of limiting them to 75, even if you have to win tons of them, it gives players something to chase.

Also, I will thank you and vouch the bags have the guys and plenty of shards in there. I didn't get Sheamus, but playing hard has paid off several other weekends recently, thank you for the improvements.

I liked the fixed nature of the shards from bags. The legendary straps were nice having the ability to get better bonuses. Tours were fine.

I didn't like that the faction deals came out on the last day. Punishes the people who buy early.

Full disclosure before I start, I did pull Sheamus from a grab bag, so I hope that doesnt color my opinion of things at all.

Now lets talk about the good aspects of the weekend. There were a lot of them, because this was a very good event.

    1. No RNG with the shards in the grab bags. Again, this is a great change and I hope it goes like this on a permanent basis. And unlike the Seth event where you guys did this the first time, we knew we werent going to be able to recruit him with shards from the bag, but that is fine. Just knowing how many shards are available is all I need. I can then make my decisions from there.
    2. Nice requirements for the limited tours. I loved the fact that for 2 of the 3 tours, the CSS was a card that everyone should have on their roster, and the third needed the debut character but we could still play it. I dont like the "victory tour" that we usually get. That is truly all we can ask.
    3. The bonus point matches for the solo event werent over the top. Even if you didnt double dip, you only needed to play 150 matches in the event. That isnt too bad at all.
    4. The matchmaking during the SD event was fair. It wasnt super easy, and there was no "wall of 5sg". When I got past 1000 notoriety I saw some 5sgs, but that is fine. It should be expected that we are going to face the top level cards when we are at the highest level.

The only real con, except for what I will mention after this is that the faction event portion wasnt any good. There was no real way for anyone to get points outside of using HP and doing the the Sheamus tour if you were lucky enough to get him. Then all of a sudden points came flying in out of nowhere and that is when I saw the offer for the points in the store. That is just a bad idea making a faction event on the weekend a spend event. It is going to foster a lot of ill will going forward if that trend continues.

Now I would like to discuss something that was very disappointing. When the blog for this event came out, it clearly stated that we would be able to get extra points for the contests if we had the Backstage Pass. I was on the fence about purchasing it because I had been spending a little more than I am comfortable with, but when I saw I could get extra points, I bought it. I kept checking during the weekend and saw nothing. After a little I went back to the blog to see if I misread it or something, and it was nowhere to be found. Then I went back to Guersan's video and there it was. The blog currently states that we can claim more free points at wwechampions.com. In the video which was released shortly after the blog dropped it says you can get more points with the Backstage Pass. That was what made me finally pull the trigger on the Pass. I wont be making that mistake again. I get the whole "Subject to Change", but when you advertise something that we have to spend real money on, changing it after the fact is just poor. Ill be dialing back the amount I spend going forward. Im also going to make a separate post about this, so look for that as well.

This show down felt kinda sub par. You cut the coins drastically it felt. The only way to max event was pull Sheamus or spend, which alot of people seemed to actually pull him that is a plus increased odds are a good step. The show down itself went well with the matches. Overall am average event.

  • The tours were reasonable again. I especially liked seeing the mlc character being used in the tour. Giving an opportunity for emerald tokens makes the tours worthwhile to try to eke out hell mode boss win with the css characters.

The solo event was really out of reach for an oversized portion of the community. The points just weren't available from the event itself. Notably, only 25 points per talent is far too low to get people to push. If there are 100 points available per talent up (even if they're split 50/50 between a class and era) will definitely make people push for higher milestones.

Gaining solo points from showdown coins is good, it incentivizes the grind. The css characters being two eras with decent characters made the grind itself much more manageable and was a great choice. Being able to double dip and not have to run 200+ matches was a welcome change.

The faction event being nearly all spend was an unwelcome change. On top of that, the offer that was needed to max the event happening right at the end of the showdown tournament was terrible. People didn't have time to collect all the rewards to see if they could get the new character and use him in showdown. I could see it being only available day 2, but not in the last half hour of the tournament.

Seeing several factionmates get the new character from milestone and tour bags was great. I feel like this makes the event far more engaging for everyone. It makes for an exciting event that people think they have a legitimate chance at recruiting him.

I do like the idea of having a specifically good plate available for the new character in the final milestone, it gives people who get the character a reason to continue pushing, too. However, having no guaranteed way to get the new character regardless of how much you grind and/or pay is a disincentive for the entire event.

    Event worked pretty flawless...

The faction contest was a complete turn off... not sure how to F2P players are supposed to contribute. Big thumbs down for this part.

  • The event was easy to grind just wish there more ways to get shards when getting bare minimum it hard to get new superstars unless you pay would love more points to grind showdown instead of trying to spend money

  • People r losing interest in contest that need lots of cash on order to max....

Overall its a lousy contest...unless ur lucky enuf to pull sheamus or get him in those bags u most likely will need to spend lots of money to max his event....without his 2m solo points its almost impossible to max.

I think most people misses how the showdown contests use to run....where u can have an option to spend cash or for those f2p to grind their way to max

Why does it always have to be too much or too little?

The previous showdown event was undertuned, assumingly to make up for the terrible event leading up to it, which made it unrewarding.

This showdown event was overtuned to a point where it became impossible to complete, and that's without taking the abomination of a faction contest into consideration.

It's very simple to make something too difficult or too easy, even a small child could accomplish that. Finding a middle ground that allows you to max by grinding (a lot - but still within reason) or by dropping some $ would be nice, for a change.

Completely unrelated: Are you ever gonna make Rezar accessible to f2p players/bring out a new +green gem trainer?

  • Showdown ran well with no issues.

Tour was OK with some decent rewards.

    Quite decent event!

  • The tour is pretty decent. The rewards are good. I guess many people are getting King Sheamus from the bags itself. It is a good thought to use old superstars as contest boosts so that they are still relevant.

The showdown experience has improved. The matchmaking is much better and not getting attacked constantly makes it a much better experience. It was very frustrating previously when you'd get attacked at a rate you couldn't keep up with to win. Most Showdowns I can get near the final milestone, but since I didn't get lucky and pull Sheamus from a bag, I was much further back than usual. Maybe this wasn't intended, but it seems to me this would then push people to try and spend for pulls. Other than that, the rewards were good and having the WCW and RAW requirement was nice since I have a bunch of people in there.

    IGN: Mule57

  • The tour itself was ok, the pay out of these tours is usually not worth the time to play though them. The bags are worth very little and the shards you can win are even less. The amount of shards needed to get a character are through the roof. Plus being a few days to get so many shards is very hard, I don’t know how anyone can gain that many shards without playing 24-7.

  • I liked using older stars but overall it wasn’t fair to none of the f2p players…but nothing you ever do is fair to those of us who love wrestling and love the game…all you seem to care about is padding your pockets. Quit being like Vince and listen to your fans for a change….give everyone a truly equal opportunity….not just the ones who spend money

lower levels to let f2p people actually get something

  • Make the events easy

And every one should max it

Being only able to get points by leveling PH, using health packs and spending money was bad.

-How few points you got for using one of those 3 methods

-The lack of points that were given and Options to get more points in solo or faction

    - The amount of matches were A LOT better

-The matchfinder was working really well for 95% of the time

-**Being it was so impossible to max the events without 100 people spending $500 each it did make a good weekend to stay off the game, so thanks for that**

    Solutions:

    - More points to level the certain class and use health packs(75 or 100)

    - Give points for shards in solo and faction?

-Different price points with the faction points in them

-More points for the Specific Loot Pull

    - Extend the points to instead of a specific class possibly Era of the featured
