"King Sheamus” DEBUT + Giveaway

  • Milestones where Unachievable unless you spent a ton of money. Used to be able to double dip on leveling up superstars to get milestones like PowerHouse and Ruthless Aggression but this time we only were treated with just PH points. Other then that fix the random crashes and random connect to the internet to play. Which resets game either way costing us a crap load in HP. But overall I give this event a C-

  • Like most of these event, the chaser superstars are always next to impossible to get unless you are spending a big amount of money or you have so much free time on hand (which most people don't due to work and family) that you can play enough to farm for the top and coi s needed to up any an all superstars that are needed to get all the possible bags to maximize the chance for attaining the chaser for any event. I had one time in the past 3-4 years that I have been playing the game where I actually pulled a chaser from a $1-$2 pull. Seems scopely favors anyone who pays money more than loyalty in the game. I understand that they are trying to make money but they make more they enough that they could get the little players like me and people like me a better chance to attain the chasers they show off.

I think we need better system for Showdown, and we need a practice part of the game or sparing type place where Faction mates can test out builds and trainer and coach setups that don't effect anything like needing health packs

    Positives

    • Fixed shard amounts from milestones and tours, so players know what they’re playing for. The total number of shards from the event wasn’t enough to recruit, so hopefully there will be more opportunities to acquire the remaining shards in the coming weeks.
    • Lots of legendary straps with improved bonus from the milestones.
    • Reasonable number of matches and requirements for bonus points. Ideally I’d love to see an unlimited number of matches to make grinding an event possible if played wish to do so.
    • A new character in an era other than Modern. Some of the other eras need significantly more new characters to add more variety.

    Negatives

    • Players who do everything possible are ending the event with 1180 shards of Sheamus, while others are pulling him from bags and getting an extra 2m points in the solo event, and extra rewards from his tour. I’d like to see a better system which more fairly rewards players for making progress in events. One solution would be to have significantly higher drop rates for posters in gold bags, and award those bags only in later milestones.
    • Players who spent money in the first 48 hours of the event were effectively punished for doing so because they missed out on the additional event points offered with purchases on the 3rd day.
    • The final milestone wasn’t realistically achievable without getting lucky and pulling Sheamus from a bag. If an event requires spending (or huge amounts of talent up) to max, I think the final milestone should have a 2star poster or guarantee enough shards to recruit the character.
    • Faction event was heavily weighted towards spending. I think this puts unfair pressure on players to spend just to maintain their position in their faction.
  • This event has been a typical scopley money grab. Being able to use a older common superstar was great for one tour. To score any reasonable points for the faction event from the tour you had to spend hundreds of dollars at a chance to get Shaemus (I have never pulled a superstar from a bag). The showdown side it was nice for the 150 matches but the points didn’t even come close to the points available for a fraction of matches with Shaemus. Unless you pulled Shaemus you’re not coming close to maxing the showdown. From where I am right now I would have to increase the talent of powerhouses by 120,000 talent not to mention that I did spend money this weekend. The worst things about this event was scopley turning around on the last day and saying pay me to max the event.

  • For the most part was a decent showdown no need to play a million matches it was good overall

    IGN: the real Cruz

  • I got half the shards for King Sheamus, I enjoyed it. Didn’t pull him but looking forward to getting him in the future. The tours were good and Showdown was decent, no complaints for me here.

  • Thought the contest was great. Except for the pay to max part.

  • Ok so the here my feed back if you max the event you should get the card with lets say a 4ss or even 4sg these events are catering to the heavy spenders.

    1) events should never be spend to max thats why loosing the players

    2) quit putting new superstars out every week that are not obtainable though lets say a grind

3)fix the issues that alresdy exist

    4)make the game enjoyable again

5)make events and mini events capable of maxxing and leaderboard rewards better if they want to spend hundreds to cater to the whales I this game

  • The solo event was good overall. If you got lucky and got Sheamus, you maxed the event. If you didn't get Sheamus, you didn't max. The criticism I have is the way the faction scoring was set up. It was way too hard to score before you dropped those offers

  • This weekend event was garbage most the factory event that was a spend to move on event not sure why u guys u feel the need to make us spend so much money for nothing in return the solo event is a bit better so could use some work that your not spending to max but guess it's on to the next garbage event

  • These contests are getting better in my opinion. The rewards were great and I really enjoyed playing this contest. Just wish Sheamus was a trial character I could have played.

The faction event should NEVER be about spending. Period.

The contest was good overall. Like the idea , like the way you guys put old characters as bonus characters as the make them useful who were oj the roster licking dust. But the rewards could be better.

    IGN - Lihas43

  • It was much smoother this weekend in terms of rollout, so congrats on that.

Pros - straightforward event with no glitches, tours were good

Cons - Prizes were less-than-adequate, but that's how it goes sometimes. The faction event was a little flawed where you absolutely had to spend a lot.

  • The event was decent in some respects. The showdown contest superstars and amount of matches for each was great. It still took effort to complete but didn't feel too excessive. The rewards in the milestones were good and gave incentive to try to max. The tours were difficult but achievable.

There were a few things that I didn't enjoy. The max milestone seemed to be higher than normal likely with the assumption that some individuals still had unclaimed showdown tokens from the previous week. For those of us that didn't, it was impossible to imagine getting near the last 3 milestones without spending or leveling up their entire powerhouse roster. Limiting the talent up to 25 points for one class made the chances of gaining ground even harder. Making the free character the bonus character on a tour week 1 felt annoying when players can't upgrade to make competitive when the tokens are available without spending.

I understand you can't max every event or get every reward but some of these things seem to put some at a huge disadvantage in these events.

    My Feedback on this event:

    Solo:

We get used to a partial way of either buying loot pulls or do Talent Up, which last named should always be a option towards a free 2 play player. To have a shot at maxing. But the fact Sheamus gave 2m points, and that can only be made up by buying or a insanely amount of TU (only Powerhouses) imo made it very tough/impossible for a great portion of the player base.

Overall required matches for bonus points were good doable, very good!

Rewards are thus stuck to get based on getting either Sheamus, buying (more then 200... loot pulls), or doing (100k++ PH talent up) which is way too much for rewards not paying out that much...

As there is no garantued way if u max to get Sheamus, only the skillplate. In this I would say the Seth Rollins Showdown event was a better example with a garantuee poster at the end.

I think there is room for improvement in the feature with that. Unless the goal is that there is a 0 chance of getting character by the bags if u were to do everything...

    Faction:

I honestly feel the Faction event was really set up in a bad shape ... the fact most Faction points obtainable are only obtainable for players when u get Sheamus... and thus holding back the community on getting those much needed solo points in the respective milestones... and then Sunday throwing out a $100 offer that not gave a few Faction points but 250k! Which in comparison to the ones available in the Sheamus tour are like 10x as much. Felt like a last minute decision to ensure factions had a way to max the event and gain solo points from milestones. This should not be the way, in future cases I feel that points that aid players in their weekend pursue of solo or faction events should be obtainable for everyone. Not behind the weekends character or a paywall... I reckon that the Faction Event was a bust this weekend unfortunately. A hopefully learning moment towards the next events... where in points that will help your progression in another contest is not affected like this....

    Steve Austin ruby market.

After weeks of absurd pricing. The prices went back to a bit normal as we were used to, that is a good thing! And hopefully keep it that way!

    Faction Leaderboard rewards

I feel they, towards where the game is now. Are a bit underrated to where a few coins and tokens don't bring much to the table nowadays. I would like to see a improvement there...

    Showdown Tournament

The tournament itself run fluent. The matchups felt good, the 5sg wall didn't came so quickly... overall here I would say a good job was accomplished.

Overall tough I would give this weekend event a 7...

I think we've seen better setups for Showdown weekends for the Solo and Faction contest. (Like the Seth one) hopefully towards the feature a better version or combination of both can be made...

    Greetings

  • I want to first explain. That I like playing the contest's and enjoy trying to capture the the chase character.

The only problem is that it is so hard to capture the chase character when you have to get so many shards to get them.

You seriously have to have the money in order to get close to getting the character in pulls or by some luck get them in grab bags.

Me personally, I am nowhere close to earning this Sheamus or any of the other chase character's. Now if you made it easier to get then maybe I could provide a positive feedback. It also doesn't help that I don't have the all the required superstar's to complete the tour's in order to help me.

In conclusion, I would like to get the chance to win him but, it might not be relatively possible. If there is a chance I do here is my info.

  • The tours were fine, prizes were okay. The loot pull cards weren’t top tier for the most part. Only PH talent up for 25 made it harder to add talent up points, which does not incentivize the top milestones. Would be great if there were more solo and faction MLC points in the milestone bags.

Glad a lot of people got Sheamus but......

Made faction event spend to max

Waste of time if didn't get Sheamus.

I don't care for SD coins, have 1m.

    Tours were easy.

    Milestone rewards were terrible.

    Overall I give the event a 3 out of a 10.

Great challenges on the tours without them being impossible. Had to use a few props to make it through with required/bonus characters (HHH 4S, PG Miz 4b, Nak 3G), but felt the rewards were worth the effort to make it happen.

Showdown tournament was fine as usual. Took time to get through the bonus character matches but it wasn't an impossible number.

Feels like it wasn't as possible to push for more solo milestones using talent up this event. Thought maybe in past events there was a class and era that earned bonus points. Only PH this time made that less of a realistic option.

Saw quite a few people getting Sheamus this weekend. Hopeful to pick up the remaining shards in the future. Looks like a really fun card.

    My Sheamus event breakdown

    Pros.

The bonuses character where great everyone should have had at least on to fill those requirements not king Sheamus obviously.

    Tours where pretty decent

Showdown matches with bonuses characters reduced was great.

    Rewards where ok.

    Cons.

Raw and wcw character points where far to low having the points heavily weighted for the chase charter was terrible and even getting him wouldn't have maxed solo for me personally

Having the faction points hid behind the chase charter and a paywall was a disgrace and bringing those packs out on the final day was a huge punch in the face to spenders who spent early in the contest.

Not enough shards to recruit the chase even if you mxed solo and I don't understand this because i feel that of you max you should at get the chase amount of shards.

    Overall thought's

The showdown event was decent but there's some things that still need worked on to make it worth putting the effort into maxing the solo event.

  • Well I don’t like the fact that i had done all the requirements for the showdown yet i still need to pay to get him

  • Pros -

    1. The reduced number of matches required to max, plus the generous bonus character selection (everyone should have someone good from both WCW and Raw camps) was fantastic. I have also greatly enjoyed the larger SD coin payouts from the changes you guys made a few months ago.

    Cons -

    1. Spend to max. I understand requiring some spending. But unless you spent a good deal of money, you weren't coming close. If you didn't get lucky and pull Sheamus, you weren't coming anywhere NEAR close without a LOT of money. This is not a good approach. It just pisses us off as players and makes us less engaged with the content in general.
    2. This is a special gripe--locking a valuable 5e token behind a constantly move-refilling 4-gold Tech Drew, and requiring us to use the new Shinsuke to get it WEEK ONE--was infuriating. Guess what? I haven't not leveled Shinsuke past 3 gold because I'm lazy or not playing along. I haven't leveled him past 3 gold BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T GIVEN ME ENOUGH F'N TOKENS TO DO THAT YET. Because of the nature of Drew's moves, you can't even pay cash to continue your way through, because you'll pull off one move, and he'll go through his spiel again, you're dead, "insert another quarter please." This kind of MLC garbage was the sort of thing you guys were pulling late last year, and I quit playing for awhile because of it. I've been happy since I've been back, but this contest in particular put a sour taste in my mouth.

    The Bad:

-Being only able to get points by leveling PH, using health packs and spending money was bad.

-How few points you got for using one of those 3 methods

-The lack of points that were given and Options to get more points in solo or faction

-The glitching that was occurring was really bad

    The Good:

    - The amount of matches were A LOT better

-The matchfinder was working really well for 95% of the time

-**Being it was so impossible to max the events without 100 people spending $500 each it did make a good weekend to stay off the game, so thanks for that**

    Solutions:

    - More points to level the certain class and use health packs(75 or 100)

    - Give points for shards in solo and faction?

-Different price points with the faction points in them

-More points for the Specific Loot Pull

    - Extend the points to instead of a specific class possibly Era of the featured

    Much thanks

  • This showdown event is all about spending money 💰. How are faction supposed to max out this event 🤔 . It utterly ridiculous that almost every event is based on spending 😑 . Why can't we just have an event for once based on just playing and not spending a whole lot of money or any . I understand it's a business and you have to make money .. but give the players a break every once in a while. We have other things we can and should be spending our money on . And if you want us to spend our money give us better rewards.. something we can say this is worth buying or spending cash. What ever happened to Free to Play ( F2P ) . It's so frustrating every event is based on spending money 💰. A money spending event 😑

It would be nice if the month long key pulls had better odds, it always seems to be the same shards for Harlem heat booker or jake the snake every time. The solo events are becoming impossible to max without spending money. At this point you are creating events using characters based by the fact you know most of the serious players like me from day one would never work on because of the limitation of resources.

the showdown event used to be the best part of the game and now you know that people lower their defense so you shut it off and make the match numbers outrageous.

it’s like the community complained about the lack of resources and you did an outstanding job increasing the availability of coins and tp then ruined all the other good aspects of the game.

also I think it would be an amazing thing if you brought back the coin based mega pulls. Not everyone can afford hundreds of dollars to get new characters. Increase the pull rates at this point they have relevant characters no less than 3sb and no less than a 10 percent pull odds

  • RageDune

Tours - Difficulty seems fair enough mostly. White noise tour hell mode seems a bit harsh for people who didn't have the king naka at high levels and there was not enough tokens available for him to go further than 3sb if not bought any naka start packs or pulled his higher poster from briefcase loots. this seems like a mini paywall for solo event points. One time rewards from all tour matches seem okay but event factions points hiding behind the tour of this week chase seems absurd. Distribute the faction points availability better in the future events please.

Showdown - Required CSS are fair and flexible in my opinion as well as the number of matches required to do.

Solo and faction events - Not liking the 2 millions solo points for king Sheamus is a must to max the solo event if we don't want to talent up the absurd amount of PH superstars. Please give the players a reasonable way to earn points to max the event without spending. Spending/lucky players are rewarded as less talent up needed as well as leaderboard rewards. Players needed to be enticed to play the game/event by allowing them to max the events reasonably. A lot of us won't even get king sheamus even if we max both solo and faction events as well as getting bonus rewards from two tours. Straps with bigger bonuses are a great change and I hope it will continue to do so and become better and better. We need straps with either class or era attached(not both) especially for icons of wrestlemania superstars.

    strap.png

I don't like the current faction event's point earning system. A faction event shouldn't be based on spending+luck.

TLDR: like the strap's bonus changes, showdown requirements flexibility, fixed amount of shards in bags(as well as the number of shards per each bag type).

Do not like the faction event is mostly based on spending+luck, not being able to max the solo without spending, not giving players a better options to earn the points(only powerhouse class, would have been better if paired with PG era as this event is PG era PH superstar debut.)
