10 min time out setting

You have created a 10 min time out on matches on a mobile device game.

Because it is a mobile game, it is to be expected that the players have to use other mobile device functionality besides this game. But still you decided to implement this feature.

Here are the draw backs of this feature:

  1. Quitting the match leaves the superstar injured
  2. Most of the time it doesn't just quite the match but it crashes, leaving the superstar with 1 health point left (this is a day 1 bug nobody bothered to fix)
  3. When it time out during a stipulation match, the streak is over and you cannot finish unless you spend ingame cash. Therefore missing out on marque coins.
  4. When it times out during a Blitz, you have an injured superstar and most likely are not able to continue. Therefore missing out on the Blitz rewards and wasted normal or premium Blitz tickets.
  5. Compensation is under par because you choose to only hand out healthpacks and thereby willing "cheat" the player out of the rewards they would have earned.
  6. And of course support is under par because they take their time to respond and then respond in a scripted fashion.

Why are you not able to cache the match info on the device? There seems to be a lot of data saved on the device. Besides that there are a lot of games that can do it.

Why do you choose to only compensate with health packs when you know that's not the only thing a player lose by the time out?
