If you win the match with a sub that leaves special gems behind they now disappear at end of match

Since the latest update, if you win a match with a submission that leaves special gems behind, those special gems now disappear at the end of the match before the loot boxes flood the screen.

I've tested this with 3 characters that have subs that leave behind special gems:

* Trick Andre (leaves behind cross breaks)

* HOF Rude (leaves behind column breks)

* Ken Shamrock (leaves behind multiply gems)

In each case, if you win with the sub, the gems will now simply become plain gems, whereas before the update they used to become their respective special gems, which in the above 3 examples would help immensely with farming.


You can replicate this bug with any of the 3 above and potentially anyone that has a sub that fits the aforementioned criteria.

I've tested on both Android (Galaxy S9+) and on the web portal.

    Thanks for the report. One correction though. Andre leaves botch gems not cross break gems.

    Yup, you're right, my apologies. You can still use him to duplicate the error though.

    I tried it on trap gem guys and I wasn't able to duplicate it.

    A few questions:

    * Which trap gem characters did you test with? I don't know any cards that have subs that turn into trap gems at the end, but I can try whoever you tried (if I have them)

    * Did you try anyone I mentioned before? If not, here are a few others you can also easily duplicate this bug with:

    • Zombie Sasha (leaves silence gems)
    • Trick Taker (leaves silence gems)
    • Jake the Snake (leaves multiply gems)

    Another thing I noticed is that the "Break Submission Gems to break the hold" banner that comes up when you put someone in a submission now stays on screen even after you win the match, and is even there all the way through the loot gems flooding the screen. The banner doesn't clear until the post-victory animation comes up. Maybe this has something to do with it? (i.e. the game thinks the sub is still going on even though the match is over, never releasing the gems so they can convert to special gems?)
