This is not a bug/error. The best way to not get this message is to attack opponents immediately because the same people may be offered to other people who attack first. Feedback is always appreciated.

The best way is to attack immediately. Your selection of opponents are part of an active pool and can be offered to other players. If they attack before you then it leads to the unavailable message.

I have played in many showdowns and I know how they work. This one in particular has been extremely challenging to engage. Moderators, please advise this to scopley. There are many die hard fans of the game becoming frustrated with this particular showdown event.

No one in my faction has been able to play SD because all opponents appear attacked, even spending coins on refresh. I hope they compensate us for this loss of time and resources, because due to this we have not been able to advance in the JBL event

I m from India and today is 3 rd and mixed showdown is running on but I tried many times joining but I couldn't. It only shows that opponent has been attacked by someone else but I tried refreshing I spent coins on it first 2k500 then 5k later 12k something but no use I didn't even get even a single opponent to fight

It’s literally every refresh dude. Paying to refresh still generates 3 unattackable guys. It’s been pointed out several times in this thread.

Same here, everybody in faction refreshed 5 times no available opponents. Sm8crews up the abbility to get far in new years event and chance for high showdown coin rewards

It’s broken this week (more so than usual). Not looking like it’ll be fixed before the reset as the problem still hasn’t been acknowledged. Save your coins and try again next event

This is defenitely an error. Everybody in my faction is having the same problem, fix it. Normally we do not have this issue. Refreshed several times hitting the attack button right away. But all opponents ar incorrectly flagged as allready attacked by system

So if this is true, then how do I get attacked 8 times in under 1 minute??? Players should get that screen when facing me right? 8 times in under 1 minute is utterly ridiculous

Yes, most of the guys in my faction do also have the problem not being able to battle one match as refresh does nothing but “opponent is not available“...

I have been having the same issue since the showdown started. I attack the opponent immediately and still get the opponent unavailable message. Refreshed 5 times in a row and got all three opponents unavailable each time. A showdown never works this poorly. I can understand some opponents being unavailable but it it not possible for every opponent to be unavailable all the time.

Showdown is a disaster this weekend. Reading forum, need to ask.. are moderators even playing the game and seeing what we see?
I get it that many players skipped the weekend play and bought Jbl points with coin, so player pool is condensed, but this clearly exposes flaws in showdown programming.

Spent almost 60k coins refreshing the SD opponents every time the opponent is attacked can't play a single SD match is there any issue but I can't defeated 5 times in 10 min losing notoriety points.

Yes we are playing the game and seeing the same thing you are. We don't have the insight of the team building the game modes but we are able to effectively explain the issues experienced

Clearly there is an issue/problem right now, all the given solutions by the mods on this forum isn’t the solutions because that’s just the big problem right now!
sometimes it’s better to say nothing instead of given the problem as a solution back... then again, you’re saying you see the same, so why are you trying to convince us to spend all of our coins over and over again while there is a problem right now...

But yet you're defence can get attacked 3 times whilst your in a match. Dont make sence, your answer contradicts what is happening to so many players

I have always thought a simple answer to the unavailability of opponents in Showdown contests is to make the Inactive players more available for selection. This includes players who don’t play Champions anymore but still retain some presence in the back end servers (I am using a IT terminology here).
By default, Scopely preserves the starting notoriety to as close to it’s initial value as much as possible. Once you start playing the notoriety starts to change whether it goes up or down, depending on whether you win or lose. But not everyone plays Showdowns, and that includes players who have left the game. As a result, there is a huge amount of players that those who want to play the Showdowns, could tap into, but can’t, in order to preserve the perceived fairness of the starting notoriety.
At the very least, it is not difficult for Scopely to make the Inactive players characters available for use in Showdowns. All they need to do is to use the value of “Number of Days Inactive” counter against the player’s profile. If it reaches a threshold, such as for arguments sake, 100, so in other words, the player has not played Champions for 100 days, then why not use them as a Showdown opponent? I assure you, they won’t mind!
And certainly for me being an active participant in the Showdowns, I won’t mind either! If it means I do my part to share the load in terms making myself available to be attacked, I would. In conclusion, the best way to avoid one team who takes part in Showdowns from being attacked constantly is to make more teams available as an opponent, and to forget about the restriction that inactive participants can’t be included.

I hate that I have to refresh constantly because “Opponents has been attacked” for ALL THREE OPPONENTS! FOR MULTIPLE REFRESHES... I wasted money due to the game’s lazy programming.
Also, why do players have to be punished to pay for refreshing when the selection process is broken.
Please either give us more options per refresh... or reduce the amount needed.
