[Merged] Showdown Scrimmage issues
I can’t do a match. Every opponent says they have recently been attacked no matter how much I refresh. I’ve spent hundreds of thousands of coins refreshing. I can’t attack anybody and nobody is attacking me even though my defense is low.

The system used to find opponents in showdowns needs to be adjusted somehow. We are constantly being matched against opponents FAR beyond our ability to compete against. With a 4sb/4ss 20k talent team I am offered almost exclusively 5sb/5sb 28k and 29k teams some with people that have near a million health. And that's under 400 notoriety. I have to refresh sometimes until my refresh cost is 62.5k just to find a team I MIGHT be able to beat.
Perhaps opponents could be found using league, notoriety and +/- 20% of your teams talent, or even the largest 2 qualifying super stars in your roster. It's still enough to remain challenging and rewards players that really want to grind it out without being basically impossible to progress at a certain point in the associated event

I find it sometimes is impossible to get your notoriety up to the highest level and stay there because of constantly being attacked. I thought there was a “cool down” period or something. How am I getting attacked 12 times in about 5 minutes? It’s impossible to move up when I’m losing notoriety faster than I can ever gain it.

The dude is clearly trying to get assistance, we shouldn't normalise "oh it's always been like that so we should shut up and accept it" people pay money for this game and you have right to raise the issue or any issue.

Can someone confirm if I lose matches using weaker teams I can get lower opponents? I just leveled up 2 4sg guys and I thought "excellent! Now I can grind higher!" Except it's 5 star -top tier mind you- opponents at every turn.

Why do players get attacked 3 times at the same time once a score of 500 is reached?:
Something feels broken & it’s frustrating while trying progress to the world or universal league and dropping around 300 points in a matter of 10 minutes:
What should I be doing to move up? I have been fighting guys at a higher ranking than me, getting revenge via the logs.
Yet every time I win one match I get attacked 3 times at the same time and my score is lower than when I started the match I just won. 🤦🏽♂️

Improving your defense would help if you have some other options, but the attack rate is high for most right now. The devs are aware of the problem and looking into a long-term solution

Its all based on notoriety. Using a weaker team to win won't change the way you are being seen by other opponents

Spent over 2M coins trying to find someone to fight.
So I think it's fair to have the "Coins & Evo Contest" available so at least the coins spent would go towards something useful. Because I know you guys ain't going to reimburse me.

What makes it so hard to get past 500 points prior to the point Distribution on cutover as compared to the morning after being able to max as it relates to the attack rate?

I almost quit playing the game in rage last night. At one point I was losing 3+ Defence matches for every 1 Offence match. (At one point I was attacked twice within a few seconds) I powered through and after 4.5 hours of battling I managed to break the 500 notoriety barrier, after that it was easy to hit 700+ and max out the 15k coins. Others in my faction (The Haven) got attacked very little. There’s clearly an issue with this game mode, some acknowledgement fro. Scopely and a planned fix would be nice.

@ModfatherJ the grind for the weekly coins is over after Day 1, so much less people play on Day 2 and it makes it easier to climb. Thats why you see such a big difference from that perspective.

Are there any other ways to reach the last 3 milestones without spending so much?
I made all of the possible points in the tour:
I grinded since the start the 1050000 points from last night would have come in handy if it was humanly possible to make universal champion league last night.
Also if I wasn’t started at 15k points after cutover I would have been able to collect another 1105000 points.
What steps did I miss to not be able to achieve the last 3 milestones?

LOL I got 7 times in the span of 64 seconds. I messaged Scopely about it every Showdown for the last 2 months. Their reaction is pretty much "Oh yeah... we'll look into it."

The multi-attack in a short time is a known issue that has been going on for about 2 months and unfortunately can't be fixed for now but is on their to-do list for a later date.

Just wanted to provide some feedback, if this is a known issue.
How about making the showdown coin requirements reflect something that is realistically achievable as it relates to earning milestone prizes?

attacked 3 times within seconds?!? How are you expected to progress? Plus losing more notoriety than you earn, how does that work? Then it tells me I can’t attack someone cause they’ve been attacked recently?! What about me? I can’t attack fast enough and I’m basically attacking other people to maintain my level, not even earning show down coins... fix this

So just change it where instead of halting opponents being able to attack you at the end of the match as it is now, make it they can't attack you once someone has chosen to fight you. If the opponent wins, you remain on cooldown until you start another fight. If you beat the player, you're opened back up to attack. It's not really all that difficult and shouldn't take over 2 months to fix. Because it obviously hasn't been addressed as it's STILL happening.
Also... it wasn't "inappropriate sarcasm". When there is an obvious game breaking glitch that goes unmodified for over two months, it's obvious they don't give a flying eff about us. This garbage makes it IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY! Why the hell should I invest my time and money into this crap to be treated like this? No seriously... please answer the question, because my McMahon briefcase is nearing the end of it's 6 month subscription and I'm seriously wondering whether or not to renew.

Last event I had 7 losses in 64 seconds. My notoriety dropped from 560 to under 400. I've been complaining about this garbage to them for 2 months and they don't care. They're "aware of the problem" but "It's on their list". If they'd just change it to where you can't be attacked after someone has chosen you as opposed to when your match ends, then that would fix this problem. But again.... why fix it? It's not like its pissing off the majority of their fanbase?

While we know it's frustrating this isn't a bug. It's tied to how matchmaking works. We are aware of how the players perceive this and have been working on ways to improve showdown.
