Move upgrade error

This problem has happened a few times and I have recreated it a few times to make sure it can be done.

Everytime I boot up the app for the first time each day I try and do my daily quests and I always come across the the same problem

When trying to upgrade any superstars moves I am given the following screen.

I have tested this with different superstars both male and female with no success.

The only way to get the problem to go away is to restart the app which can be a pain.

Using a Huawei p30. Both android and app are upto date.
