Volume Off, Still Making Sounds

I normally have my phone on silent. However, on the off chance I don’t, I leave the game on 0 music and sfx. The game will still sometimes make sounds when I match 5 gems (smash) or when entering into a new game mode (bell sound)

    Was wondering if there is any update on the sound still playing when both volumes are right down. Think I saw somewhere that it is being looked into??

    Same issue here on my iPhone.

    Have to have my phone completely on silent for the game to be silent.

    Anyone else on IOS have sound and music turned off but still get audio when clicking on a certain menu? I know Showdown sound is pretty consistent and month long tours create annoying sounds when I should not hear any.

    you have to turn off the media volume on your mobile phone. ;)

    I agree.. Same thing in android devices (Huawei p9 lite, galaxy s8 plus, Huawei p40 lite). Its really annoying, because it wakes up who ever sleeps beside me when playing at nights...

    I have been experiencing this issue on my iPhone, my android tablet, and even on the web browser. I tend to have the volume off because I like to play while watching tv, or I'm listening to a podcast/music in the background.

    Yep it also does that awful scratch/crash sound during a match

    Same issue here, in game sound is turned all the way off but the occasional sound when clicking on random things, bad when I play at night when others are sleeping

    The music will still play even when I have the game music and sfx turned off. I have to look at the settings again and then it all shuts off but the 5 gem match sound effect still happens. It would be nice if the settings actually did what you want them to do.

    Hey guys,

    This is something we have to look in to again. I personally experience the same sometimes. Also when unplugging BT headsets the music turns on again if disabled before. So i can feel you.

    Having same issues on Android device. Reported months ago. Of course no resolution. I usually go into settings turn sfx up than back down and that resolves it for that session. Have to do again anytime I leave the app.

    Hi,

    I have the same problem but I guess we need to deal with it...only thing I found is to turn off the sound on "media" option.

    Wow we can't still play this game in peace with Spotify. without hear tour sound, blast gem explode or the worst claim League point that make a noise of like 200%. Its horrible. For information a bug present since 2017. That was like this when I played this in August 2017

    Can't believe its still like this after 4 years. Unbelievable

    Yes, please fix. Iphone and web portal. With all of the music and sound effects turned down, there are still really loud sounds that the game makes.

    Hello, same issue on Samsung Android 10. It is constant. The menu noises have never went away.


    As a work around for Samsung users, the "sound assistant" app let's you set volume for certain apps. Got this one permanently muted thanks to this bug.

    I think the sounds leaking through have been getting worse. Lots of clicks here and there, the bell in showdown, the flourish at the end of stip matches.

    yes I am hearing more clicks than ever with the new iOS update. Mostly when clicking into and between tabs on the Events screen.

    Thank you! I just installed sound assistant specifically to mute this game. Hope the bugs are eventually fixed for non-Samsung users though!
