The whole premise of the game was built on the feuds. It's the go-to game mode where ppl can showcase their skills, brag and basically the reason why anyone wud even build a strong roster. But now ever since the rewards have been poor for the efforts ppl put in, more are turning away from it.
I completely agree with Bray here. Things need to get improved drastically and only then can you keep this alive. Just have a look at the players in top 5 factions. Those are literally a few of the top hundred globally. They deserve better. We all do. Thanks for making this post. Hope the devs, mods and CM responds to this and hopefully we'll see a change soon (not hell mode soon lol)

The lower level coin rewards are just stupid to be frank. Going through a 20 minute plus feud for less coins than a tier one daily undertaker is beyond weird. But in general the rewards need to be revamped across the board. Including what you get if you drop 10 bucks (20 red tp and 250k coins is not worthy of anyone dropping 10 bucks on the game).

Hmmmmm. I had a feeling I'd read one of these sorts of posts. One slight issue thought Kenny, I've been advocating this for a while, whether on this community portal where you're now reading, or in Town Hall with other Scopely Mods, or whether in surveys, whenever they come around. I'm not the first to post it here, I won't be the last. In fact, posts similar to this have been made before mine (I'll drop a link here to a similarly worded post made by another member on the same topic: https://community.wwechampions.com/discussion/3926/feud-suggestions-thread/p1).
Any faction willing to grind out a feud win, deserves credit as such. When Grim were winning feuds for as long as they did, for the reward they got, yeah, a lot of them also felt a certain way about the rewards too... I have no idea who you are in game, or what faction you come from, so have no idea if you'll have been playing when actual characters were released as prizes. Even at the 3SG / 4SB meta period, Scopely's original offer of 100 SB Godfather shards would have been a 3SG card of Godfather, and not 100 shards of him. Hell, you look back a little further, when Striker Sting was still rare as hell, and very much a P2P character, he was offered as a reward for top 10 factions. In the case of it being HOF Godfather, I see you focused in on the first part of my statement, and omitted the "In the 95% of cases" comment, or the less likely "In the case of a Hall Of Fame character" one.
And yes, you're right about where I am now... I worked damn hard to get there, I like the peeps, I like being able to feud with some of the best, without having to wait on people... So? I've been to countless (Possibly three figure?) factions helping out with feuding and strategy etc, from the very top, way down to the very bottom. Heck, if you told me your faction, I'd maybe swing by there one time... I kinda fail to see your point. The selfish thing if anything would be to ask more based on the solos, and asking for more there, or asking it to be reverted to the raw scores as it used to be (Since I know you looked up who I am, you'll know I'm pretty damn good at what I do)... That's not what I'm after. All I want is competition. No one is gunna bother with it with the current rewards scheme... Heck, feuds are more of a real than showdown (both in terms of effort spent, and skill as well in my opinion), yet the rewards for showdown far outweigh a feud... Heck, even a flash feud gives the same rewards as a 20 hour feud, which is silly (Watch Scopely only read this part, and make that their only change... Ah well).
It's been downhill for a while. But hey, if you have any constructive solution for it, I'd be all ears :)

Great feedback here. Be sure to let your factions know. If there is a lot of support the team is more likely to implement a change.

Completely agree on this post. The feuds are the main why we even build up our roster. So it doesn't make sense that the rewards are so poor. We spend a lot of time to grind and be best at this mode and it's sad that someone playing for so long as to suffer like this.

I agree mostly (there's other unrelated things related the feuds I don't like but saving those for a different discussion). The main issue is the rewards for feuds are completely underwhelming.
The time commitment required to play and the resources required to play are not worth the insufficient rewards earned.
Compounded by the effort leading up to the feud to earn the tokens to buy the perks and the crazy amount of coins it takes to upgrade them.

Top prizes should be worth fighting over; middle of the pack prizes should be meaningful contributions to resources needed to build your roster. I remember the striker Sting feud Bray mentioned--I got a 1-star striker Sting from it and it was a BIG DEAL at the time (since he made striker Bray so OP--oh, memories). Factions fought tooth and nail over the places that paid out. No one really wants to break their back over 200k coins. Honestly, the situation is even worse for middle-of-the-pack factions. Coming in 50th in a feud requires work from a lot of people, and I'm sure some of those people are relatively new to the game and looking to build/develop their rosters. They grind for hours, hit a few "wtf matchmaker?!" opponents, burn health packs and receive 250k coins for their trouble? Spending 10 minutes clearing Deadman Daily pays out better. They also receive meaningless shards for a card they won't get and a strap that probably isn't as good as the free one they can get 1/week from their faction points. I think about the mountain new players/factions need to climb a lot: it's way too high. If a relatively new/underpowered faction commits to feuding, it should matter and there should be a tangible benefit for that faction over their less-committed peers. As it stands now, if you forget to log in on a random Tuesday, resources are essentially a wash compared to someone who didn't feud at all.

I completely agree with this! Feud rewards have long been outdated. That goes from top to bottom. Boy do i remember the finn balor and striker sting days where people would grind out 24 hours and spend $100s of dollars for a new character. With the way the game has evolved the feud rewards are now worthless . The shards are likely not useful (70 shards of a chatacter requiring 2000) if you finish 11-20 as a faction 100 shards if you finish first? Its a waste of time to be honest. Make feuds great again, create compition again, revamp and rescale the rewards. Its good for the player base and its good for scopley.

original feud rewards fit perfectly ... top 10 got a needed card (another Sting recipient here way back when) however these days ... really what’s the point?
feuds are the bread and butter of this game, and the reason I would hazard a guess that the majority play.
I can’t see why, given the desire to push showdown events as well, rewards can’t be split - ie coin and TP heavy for feuds, token / strap / medal heavy for showdowns with solo events for the card shards 🤷🏽♂️

Scopely mods, I’m addressing this to you, since we somewhat have your attention on this thread.
Feud prep has just gone live, and I couldn’t help but notice that rather than a set number of shards, we now have a shard chest as a reward. Whilst I cannot comment on how good of a change this is, as I have no idea of its content (Yet - If you could please share some intel on this, it might help me come to a decision as to whether I think this is a positive change or not), I did notice that this chest is available to ALL TOP 100 FACTIONS…
Don’t get me wrong, I am an advocate for people getting good rewards from top to bottom… The issue is now your feud rewards are even more indifferent than before! If everyone is getting that chest in the top 100, that’s a neutral reward for all intents and purpose. It means the difference between your top ranked faction, and your twentieth ranked faction, is now 4 medals, and 1.5M … How is this going to incentivise anyone to feud? Are you planning on ladder perks in this feud? Explain why I, or anyone else would now spend for those if the difference in rewards is so minimal? Oh, also, this trickles down across all of the top 100 - Why should we bother playing, if we’re all going to be spoon fed that chest? The only people who MIGHT be more motivated to feud, are those around the top 100 threshold.
Sadly, it seems that what you are doing currently, is nothing short of killing the feud as a game mode. I like the idea of the shard chest potentially, but this seems poorly executed at the moment. Your feud rewards really need a renovation. I suggest you go back to my previous post on this thread about reward proposals.

These feud rewards seriously need attention. If were spending 20 hours feuding it should reflect the rewards handed out. Not just in top 10 but across the whole community. With how much training points,coins and tokens are required to boost up a character to 5sb and up we need more resources to be able to compete with others. I get it's a business and Scopley needs to make money. Although even buying the resources to increase characters you'll need to take out a loan in order to do so. So in turn do something good for the WWE Champions community and get the rewards revamped to accommodate to the needs of our rosters please

Certainly fued rewards are not worth of people spending amount of time and efforts. And knowing that we are moving towards 5sg, lot of resources are needed. Current reward percentage is 1% as compared to game requirement. Rewards need to be increased upto 50% to make people compete in fued...

Flash feuds are terrible, showdowns are terrible, there isn’t enough compensation given to us for our time. Simply put. As a result, a lot of our factions are making us pay for not making this a full time job.
and because of this, a lot of players quit the game. 80% of us out here are not whales and cannot buy our way up in our factions. It’s annoying that whales can come in and take spots that a lot of people earn, simply because a contest can be bought.

Perhaps another opportunity is adjusting individual milestones
(Solo event milestones that contain points towards faction events)
commensurate with the effort/grind needed for achieving them in the current meta.
This approach would reach every member of the community sans faction consideration. 🥂

i agree with everything that has been posted so far. Along with that, having a solo feud event where maximum feud points counting towards the event capped at 2 million is laughable. Nearly anyone that plays a few hours in a top faction can put that up easily. The cap needs to be higher to reward players that are willing to grind out more hours. With no incentive to do so, players stop. This means less HP used by players, which reduces a sales opportunity for Scopely as well. Some people refuse to spend on loot pulls but are willing to purchase health packs as this can have a much better return on their money spent in comparison to chances for loot pulls.

The best thing ever happened to this game is Titan Feud I love titan feuds better rewards Keeps me grinding we should have 1 titan feud everymonth
Compared to flash feuds Titan feud is more rewarding have less requirements fun to play
Whereas flash feuds have weird timing and with Different requirements I skip most of the Flash feuds

Please explain the incentive for any faction to push for the highest feud rank? The rewards for 1st compared to 20th is meaningless.

The incentive to feud is in the event connected to the feud. This has been the case for a long time, and makes sense to be that way.
Feud rank alone is for bragging rights, if you care about that.

Just to add that a Female Titan Feud would be cool for once. Please fix the kickout issue which didn’t work last time though.

This has not always been the case. The rewards should ramp up more based on feud rank. Someone in top 20 getting a character from the same crate that top 3 does not is a discouragement. Even something like multiple crates for higher ranks to improve odds of something new is a reasonable upgrade in my opinion.

It hasn't always been the case, but it's an improvement. The current feud system (event focused) is better for the majority of players. Giving all the best rewards to 1, 2, or 3 factions is what killed feuds in the past.

Killed feuds is a bit of an overstatement. Participation trophies make the world weak. They need to reward hard work rather than just participation.
Another solution is to do something similar to the leagues.

Unnamed superstar feud was painful to play. The lag killed it for me. I endured through it because the rewards were nice.
Suggestion: how bout the grind be doable in 6 hours instead of 12? That way:
1) being a global game everyone has chance to max regardless of their timezone
2) frees up server, hence reduces lag once some people max it they can log off. Only the guys really wanting the leaderboard can knock themselves out.
3) Faction interaction will not be affected. This at least gives casual factions a chance at getting max rewards too. Those top factions will still Duke it out regardless, but casual factions want to be rewarded too by completing tasks set in a reasonable manner. Not everyone wants to spend 12-14 hours grinding. And you wonder why people fall asleep?

Dumping a bunch of money into feud perks to make your grind easier is the opposite of hard work. If you pay to play feud, you should be the last one complaining about rewards.

I’m not following what you are saying. I’m talking about feud rewards not being incentivized for factions competing at the top.
Mentioning perks, you do realize the turnbuckles used to buy perks come from hard work of grinding for coins and tp, participating throughout the event...
You can max most perks without spending any real world money. I’ve done it the past 3 months.

Make Legendary Belt turn off during Feud. Will make it more pleasant to do. its no more about skills but about who spend the most money to make a non sense character doing 400k,600k or 1 million damage and kill all your roster in 2 or 3 turns. When I see a Charlotte Flair IOW with a tier 5 200% move damage and can do 600k each turn. its just ridiculous at this point
Like showdown Legendary Belt should be turn off too. Make it more about skills
Otherwise I don't know Feud don't attract me anymore. Specially with the new system. Force us to use difference character to score 20k its a big no otherwise you do a ridiculous +500 or +2300 or something like that
Before was 100k for a 4 Star and if that was the same system would had be 200k for a 5 Star probably
Whatever they do for Feud will never attract me again. So I don't care much at this point. I do the minimum of 200k my faction ask but after I don't care
5 vs 5 was fun but of course some blocker or if some was too much slow making feud too much long so all the 30 minutes. The reason they remove it
I don't know this mode miss something to make it interesting. Maybe its the rewards that don't worth it or I don't know. Never paid attention much
Something probably we will agree is this mode is lacking of something to make it more interesting. However I have no clue what the missing thing can be and I have no idea

Surely to make the game fair to everyone the feud has to be 24 hours. Once again I’ve lost 4 hours when someone else In another time zone will benefit instead. Please tell me why you can’t make the feud last 24 hours. There is no reason why.
