I don't mind new and creative characters but I like it more when it's someone new from the actual wrestling world. There are a lot of people from all eras and 90s companies that I would love to see. I wish they'd hold off on making a 5th-10th version of the same stars and work on never before seen characters.

There are already multiple factions that completed all milestones and even more about to. It is clearly not fair and scopely you should make things right

Scopely only cares about their favorites. I’m so tired of this game screwing over people like me and my faction. This is always happening lately - then they “catch” it and in the “interest of fairness” things are taken away.
I know my faction won’t get him and it’s ridiculous - I’m done spending actual money. Two months ago I stopped playing outside of faction stuff to help them out and I feel the burn out is happening again. My money is just for shards and other dumb stuff anyway.

With the Change to 8 pts per loot bag, here is the math. With 100 in your faction all doing the faction events, you are at 28 (number of loot bags in all contests) x 100 (faction members) x 8 (points per bag).
this gets you 22,400. This gets you to milestone 5, and close to milestone 6 at 23,599 pts.
That means you have to make up the difference with loot coins at 10pts per loot coin. So you have to 99,999 (final milestone)-22,400 = 77,599. 77,599 point to max the contest (all from loot coins), divided by 100 people, means that each person must get 775.99 points from loot coins. Divided by 10, that's 77.599 Loot coins a person. That is 2x mega pulls of 99.99 each for 80 coins for simplicity.
So in order to get Ozzy Werewolf via the milestone, each factions must spend $20,000. Repeat, $20,000 per faction to get the item. That is an absurd amount, and would be better to not even have the option, and go entirely on RNG from pulls.
I feel this is deceptive in the advertisement. At no point does it reference the total cost of the milestone, and the amount of coins one would have to acquire in order to achieve this.

Even on Halloween you still try to give everyone tricks over treats Scopely. I bet when kids come to your door for Halloween you and they say trick or treat you say trick and shut the door and turn the lights out. It even says 750 per bag in the contest and if you click on the bags them. Does no one know how to do very simple math over there? If this was a mistake then 8 per bag is actually ridiculous if that was the original way it was intended to be and how does someone "accidentally" put 750 when you intended it to be 8? This entire event has been riddled with bugs and glitches all month and this could have been a way to apologize for all players have put up with. I sure hope a massive compensation is coming to players for what we've dealt with alllllllllll month.

it clearly says on the web portal you will earn 750 Izzy’s howl’oween faction contest points and in the bag too. Scopely and WWE Champions you made this faction contest so this mistake is on you and now you want to drop to it 8 points. Take 100% responsibility for making this contest days ahead and don’t fix what you have originally created. Totally wrong of you.

- While mistakes like this should never happen and changing stuff with the contest already running and factions already maxing should be a no-no, i do understand it can happen but players should not be punished.
I think the easiest solution is to just let people keep what they earned and whoever missed on Ozzy get a choice between zombies LA Knight, CM Punk or a super rare plate like Tama Chest Plate. You get to protect a new poster the way it was supposed to happen while offering a compensation for others.

This is hilarious, props for making this a fun night of discord reading. It clearly said 750 on contest and it clearly said 750 in the bags. You all are flushing your PR down the toilet constantly and for a billion dollar company is insane. I want this game to be great, I want this game to be enjoyable and I want you to own up to your mistakes and take it as a learning experience but you never do. I honestly don’t care now what you do with this event. Reset the 750 to 8,rollback the milestones, take back the rewards, honestly whatever you want. The mlc as a whole has been extremely underwhelming. Halloween havoc last year was one of the best, this mlc is one of the worst. And this latest screw up is the icing on the cake

Bag luck is back luck though, and my faction happened to max WITH many of us spending. And now they’re taking him away. I can’t stand it when they do this. This zombie event was lackluster at best to begin with, this was the first time I was legit excited all month in the game

your response to your own mess up is ridiculous. It’s laughable. You made a mistake and your response to the mistake was to punish the community because you made a mistake. Then, check this out. Then your get well plan didnt help but maybe 1% of the community even while you removed earned characters from people. This is awful, abhorrent and unethical.
You quote state of play… you’re the keeper of the sword. You created the play. You made the rules, you changed them. There is no fairness involved with you.
Make a rule and stand by your rule. This ozzy isn’t even that great and isn’t even worth the effort and your team decided that you need to change what you launched and gave a big. Oops. Sorry.

wow guys! After over 7 years here, subscribed to every possible membership here, and spending tens of thousands of dollars here, this event “solution” really brings things to a new low.
My faction happened to score new Ozzy. Got some good bag luck off the jump, I spent on loot pulls and did my tour. At 1pm pacific, BOOM, we scored him. Apprehensively, I went all-in and took him to the moon. I know of your company’s propensity to change things based on “fairness” but didn’t expect such a poor solution. Might I say if a certain one or two “top” factions hadn’t scored Ozzy like we did, would changes have been made? It’s just deceptive of you guys to change bag amount to 8 from 750, scale everything back because of another mistake on your end.
I love this game, I love the community, and for the most part I think you guys do an overall good job managing turbulent waters like this. But I feel like any faction that earned him early on, should absolutely not have him removed and a whole new set of unreachable benchmarks placed on achieving him. I really hope you guys decide to reconsider.2 -
July 2022, there wan an error made in the scoring at the beginning of the mlc that allowed many people to max within 2 days. Those people had the chase cards taken away but were able to keep the rewards earned, were then given the next weekend’s poster (SB Bulldog) for free and he was made a grindable reward in milestones. In this case, Ozzy is being removed, we keep milestones earned, possibly get our resources back correctly, and get a skill plate if we maxed and spent, while also getting our pts adjusted to around 1% of what scoring was when the contest started and then have to spend roughly $10k as a faction to max again? This is a horrible “resolution” and something better needs to happen! Make Ozzy a grindable reward in the weekend contest maybe?

Just crazy should just allow everyone to get him at 3sb and call it a day since the numbers are all over the place this is a miscalculation issue on your part and sure why not throw the zknight plate into as well this isn't the first event this has happened in

As someone who has worked on mobile games before, I know the cost that goes into creating an asset like this Ozzy as well as the coding and cost to pay the team to get him into the game. I say that to say, with the amount of money this game makes on a weekly basis…..the solution that was decided upon is one I have not seen before from other companies. The cost/value of a digital asset like this is low (as you are aware of) and the potential backlash that will stem from this seems easily fixable. It feels like Scopley is playing a game of chicken with its users to see if they really will "stop spending" like many say. I think they know this is not the case, so they have no real need to fix the problem. Give it a few weeks, the majority will move on past this and forget it ever even happened. The thing is simply, is Scopley right that the community has a short memory and will forget this/continue to spend or will they actually view this as a problem and pull back on the income being provided to them. Time will tell, but with this response from Scopley it sure seems like they know the player base is all bark and no bite.

Boy you guys messed this one up big time. The resolution to the problem that you created is just awful. Total bait and switch and false advertising. Everyone who has spent money should be refunded, and you guys should just take the hit on your own error and make all bags 750 points again and let everyone get Ozzy. I think it's fair to say that a good majority of players have little to no trust in this game and the developers anyway - and this awful resolution you are putting out just erodes that trust even further. Do better guys, god knows you earn enough from the players of this game.
