Pros- the contest was changed to not require gargano to complete it. Points were combined for the special characters on the tours to make it easier as well.

Cons-low shard rate from bags hitting under 14 for most people. People don't like showdown events where you can't get the character for free. At best they view it as a mostly pass with grabbing whatever resources they can and complaining about it.

This contest had a few hiccups at the beginning, and quite frankly I’m not sure how that keeps happening. One of the biggest negatives a out this game is having to deal with customer support and you continue to roll out events and features that force us to go that route. It takes DAYS for them to fix anything. Unacceptable. Fix your game!!

The RNG bags are awful. 10-100 is fine as long as you aren’t getting 10 the majority of the time. Most people averaged between 11-14 per bag. Give us a damn break. Needing Gargano was a kick in the nuts, along with Becky and Aleister who are still on the rare side. You made this doable for very few people even with spending. The milestone should have been 10 million not 11. Stop making things worse!!!

Positive: the two tours being open with the bonus superstars available for extra points in the contest is a great model, it’s inclusive while allowing people with bonus stars to get ahead as part of the contest. The resources in the contest milestones were nice and should be indicative of how the minimum of every contest should be run. Coins/TP/Tokens have yet to be ramped up for 4sg meta and now we’re at 5s. So please make this contest the baseline for what the minimum resources available in any contest should be. The change to only requiring 1 of the rare 3 was a large benefit appreciated by many. Lowering the milestones from 12 to 11m was a help as well, however I don’t see why lowering it to 10m as it was previously would be an issue considering the low-end amount of socko recruits via shards.

Opportunities: Mistakes such as the 50 4sg tokens should never happen. These are big mistakes and happen much more frequently than not. Simple solution is to run the data and provide anyone else that finished the node with the 47 additional 4sg tokens. The culture on your team needs to change to rewarding the players that have been loyal rather than punishing those that happened to play a couple mins earlier than the next person. It’s frankly bullshit and a terrible business practice. Treat your loyal customers with respect and show you care by defaulting to the simplest solution and making things right. Lower factions found the last milestone an impossibility so there was an opportunity to put an additional milestone between the 7.8m and 11m Mark. Not everyone should max everything, but it’s ok to have consolation prizes for your customers. The socko bags had very low odds across the board. While resources in milestones were great, there’s no reason why the default for these contests can’t be a 3s version of the superstar from maxing the contest

Pros- the aspects of the contest were changed to make it more plausible for the playerbase. Lowering of top milestone to 11 million and combining the men’s tours into one were well received. The characters required for the event were a decent mix of rare and common. The rewards on the way up were solid as well.

negatives- the rng bags are not appreciated by the playerbase at all. An event of this type (involving past spending, current spending, grinding, or some combo of all above) should have a definitive end point. Either you gain the character or you do not (if you fail to max). The current structure is little more then a thinly veiled attempt to get people to spend exorbitant amounts of money to gain the rest of the shards needed to unlock said character. If the shard drop rate were reasonable that would not be a massive deal but with them currently dropping at a 1 percent of 1 percent rate the rng bags become a predatory prize.

Pros: definitely good to see some resources were given back, some milestones definitely achievable.

Cons: the lack of shards within the bags, the token issue which start at 50 and left most of the community with out getting 50 but only 3 and to change it with in a 45min window from when it started. Which one again got the community on a uproar for false advertising.

    Pros:

The use of ANY techs in the tours (bonus points for contest stars) was nice.

The Technician heavy Socko loot was a good call, so leveling helped towards contest.

Lowered milestone of 11M was a stretch but doable

    Cons:

RNG on loot was atrocious as always.

    Positives:

    • Reducing the milestones to 11 millions (tho it should've been 10)
    • Merging the points in the tours into one tech tour that you needed either of the guys
    • Faarooq was a welcomed reward
    • A recruit point of 1200 "looks" more achievable then 2000 (until you start opening bags)
    • Good amount of 5sg tokens and overall rewards in milestones

    Negatives:

    • RNG Bags, most people averaged about 13 shards per bags and that aint over a few bags, that's over 50 bags, that is heavily weighted RNG bags and despicable. I dont know a single person that got Socko without having to buy at least one offer to close the gap.
    • Technical issues here and there are understandable, tho you are well past the point of acceptable on that side, but errors such as programming the wrong amount of reward for a tour is beyond comprehension for a company of this stature, there is so many "cut&paste" errors the go unnoticed it's mind boggling
    • There should've been a milestone before the last one between 7.8m and 11m as that gap was pretty much the difference between f2p and p2p and a big step.
    • again people can't stand that an event centered around a superstar cant even be completed without getting that superstar as the final reward, it is terribly unrewarding to max an event that required a ton of effort, time and prior major money investment to complete in it's entirety and simply fall short of getting the guy due to piss poor RNG Bags and the "randomness" that is never "random" in a favorable way, ever.
    • The Mr. Socko loot was ridiculously structured to make sure you cant even get shards from it as only the "featured" portions had shards in it and no other loot section, again I've seen tons of people do pull to try to get their missing shards and not a single person pulled any shards from it, it was all through the 50 shards in 100$ offers...

  • I think the above comments hit all the points.

Only gripe I have is it seems consistently where I have to spend more to get the guy compared to others and it’s always brushed off as “bad luck” which over time just becomes bullshit and dynamic odds does exist.

Pro: the changing to include all 3 techs together was awesome.

cons: total lack of shards in loot again.
