Welp. I've used up all the free available "energy" so it's either buy more(🤣😂🤮😂🤣) or wait on the old clock.

Awesome idea ruined by being pay walled.

I'm 100% not against the game making money, charging for things is obviously necessary but this is billed as an open competition and at least in my opinion it is ruined by the need for energy and the need to purchase it to compete for top rewards.

So here's my obligatory please remove "energy" from the game comment.

The Steel Cage tour matches are close to impossible using CSS. How do you even complete the Rollins one with everything locked?

My 6SG is getting destroyed by Cena in 2 rounds, who conveniently has access to entourage and a 500% gem damage buff.

Dude who designed these crap tours should be fired.

Please for the loving mother crap put a god damn cap (90% maximum)on Gem and Move Defense in Showdowns (mainly anything player versus player) as it gets really annoying seeing setups that can kill AI opponents with ease get EXTREMELY nerfed in Showdown and Feuds because someone’s RNG luck was better. I faced opponents with 150 up to 300%+ gem and move defense, HOW IN THE WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS IS THAT FAIR!?!?! Oh and to all those who say “just configure your character better”, I do the best I can with what the game’s RNG does for me and I still get shafted up the glutes so stuck it in your ear with the “get good” comments. Also, please give the AI random medals in stead of the best stuff because it gets really annoying seeing them with top stuff while I’m dealing with trash due to RNG as that’s straight up lazy programming.

The barebones tours are, I presume, a pure level check (since nothing else can apply). I threw a 6G Queen Nia in there and she was lost repeatedly after using every moveset possible. Steel Cage can emphasize some strategy using more limited avenues of customization, but removing all of them makes the fights both more repetitive and more frustrating, since there is literally nothing else that can be done (leveling up from 350 to anything higher is prohibitively expensive to do on the fly and, even so, I would not have survived the damage being done given my projected output).

Perhaps I am missing something but, otherwise, I am unsure how this tour is anything other than a level ~370 level check, at least for Queen Nia vs Mami Rhea.

in terms of suggestions, I’d put the opponents in the same barebones camp as us - even with a loss, that would come across better (the trappings of a “fair” fight).

    LET’S GET BEHIND THE QUEENS:

    Chelsea’s gear:

While a good looking piece of equipment, it does not improve her much to make her relevant in this meta against someone who is not a Technician. A little revamp to her would have been nice to make the gear a bit more enticing considering it was the final milestone in the Kings Showdown which required significant investment to get to.

    The prizewall:

This was a good one with decent variety and offered plenty of good stuff that motivated us to play throughout the duration of the contest. Offered plenty of shards, plates and moments. The moments to me seemed overpriced considering how most of them are outdated or do not make a big impact on the posters included in it.

    The Showdowns:

Offered good rewards for placements and kept the engagement high, wanting us to play more and more. The economy of medallions seem balanced as well, given the number of points the SD had to offer through the bracket leaderboards.

    Tours:

Tours for the most part were fine, however the css options for the steel cage rules required posters that struggled a lot given that we had steel cage stipulations while an opponent like John Cena could drop 50M on us and pin us pretty quickly, giving us next to no fighting chance. I don’t mind a challenge, but making a tour nearly impossible is not the way to go. It makes an otherwise good experience frustrating. Occurrences like these adds to the belief that things are not properly tested before they are plugged into the game. Lately, the occurrences of having CSS options that can’t win at all(or are going to take 20+ tries to get a cooperating board to win) are on the rise. I don’t mind a challenge but there must be a path to win that does not require to be at the mercy of the board.

    Suggestions:

It was disappointing to see no faction contest tied to a weeklong contest cause usually we get one. A spend only faction contest would have been nice to have as usually those are well received and rewarding, plus generating good revenue for you.

if you are going to have RNG bag distribute medallions when you reach a milestone and not a set number, you should extend the offers for those medallions to match when the prizewall expires.

I reached a new milestone once SD expired but didn’t know how many medallions I would have since they are RNG. Had I known how many medallions I would have been short from what I wanted from the prizewall, I would have bought the remaining amount.

When it is a set number you can plan ahead on how many you are going to receive and buy if necessary. This event did not allow it since the event and the offers expired at the same time.
