I am looking this contest so far, I believe it's been more laid back this month and have been able to manage life and playing a lot better compared to the usual, many things going on at once. I know the holidays may have to do with that but I would love for it to continue. One thing I really hope CHANGES is the strap and medal inventory. I'm regretfully selling a lot of straps and metals that I dont want to get rid of because I'm out of room and or game cash to make room for them.

How are we meant to beat the silver tour boss with Nia or Morrigan when there's no option to change the opponent to female?

As we are well aware already that the last events of the MLC's on the weekend events are always more difficult due to premium milestones. This particular weekend we have a faction boss that is extremely difficult for the average player. Now granted this will challenge us to become better players but we also don't want it to be less fun because of it. This boss battle had so many defenses that it made it difficult to beat. I would recommend some relaxed defenses or bring up more damage to the boss. I mean this boss had a freeze, heal, 50% defense to gem damage and cover the board with it's own modifier after every turn. Please make the game enjoyable again.

I think this week boss was the most challenging. It made it fun again. Great job on trying to improve the game mode. There is one think I would like to see fixed. There is a 5 second delay on turn two fighting the boss. The time starts and it take 5 seconds for players superstar to get up and start his attack. With seconds counting in this game mode those 5 second is the difference between getting move set off once or twice with certain characters. Overall I think this weekend event was a success in my opinion. Keep up the good work and I look forward to 2025!

I liked the challenge of this weekends boss battle, but I'm in a very good faction. I liked that it actually took strategy and a stacked lineup. This would have been rough in a weak faction. I would like to see improvement in the response of the game. When the round starts, I want to start. First round I usually lose 2 seconds. Second round I usually had a 4 or 5 second delay. The gems also don't respond in boss battle like they typically do. I'm not sure if that's built in to make it more difficult or not, but it's frustrating.

    Thanks,

    DVE

  • I understand with the game scaling up and rosters getting stronger, it would make sense to increase difficulty. You guys turned the volume to 10 with this though. There were too many buffs added to the boss. 250 gems to break is 5 full boards and a few more. I like the challenge, our faction maxed and 100/100 completed it, but it was a chore. Tone it down a tad and it will be perfect.
As mentioned about there was a lag going into round 2 of 4-5 seconds and once my unfreeze button didn’t trigger until the 3rd round, and we were cooked. Small glitches like that have a massive impact on success, especially with a tricked out boss.

Just getting back into this game after a couple years, I appreciate that (while it cost sure a bit of money), it was possible to recruit new and rare stars. In the past, that wasn't my experience.

I like the game play, but I still feel like it's very difficult to progress without spending money.

Even being in a top 100 faction, it was nearly impossible for us to defeat the boss on level 20, leaving us far short of maxing out our contest rewards.

I like a little difficulty and work, but this was a little much and somewhat defeating. It's not fun if it seems impossible.

    • This weekend’s bb was actually fun and challenging at the same time. I really like this change alot and glad you guys come up with a different approach. Which makes it more fun than expected though on paper it may seems nearly impossible but instead it actually allow players to configure their potential to make sure that they can come up with the right strategy to conquer the boss.
    • The solo event seems like an straight up copied version of recent released events which is nothing wrong as long as it has the same context and rss for the players. I like the integration of weekly events with the weekend event that also brings more attention and engagement for the community. The regular added tasks like talent up, bonus matches and extra points for using specific characters were certainly something that’s not to slip away. Having big chunk of prizewall currency in the bonus milestones is another reason for players to push their way into and earn more popcorn buckets and other useful items throughout the contest.
    • The faction contest was split into two parts, one featuring weekend bb event. The rewards were pretty decent nothing special outside the solo points and some resources could’ve been added some other rewards but that was balanced out by the faction spend contest. Which basically prioritise the weekend PW medallions and king of raw chests. Another positive factor is that i’ve seen bunch of people who pulled king general outta those crates. So, that’s quite astonishing considering how flexible the odds are this time around. Deserves the most credit.
    • Tours are as usual pretty well balanced with the overall CSS layout. Everyday we have new tours to do which really encourages players to participate into and doesn’t really feel like an chore at any point.
    • Lastly, both the prizewall offers a selection of different shard options, plates, straps, resources and newly added beer bath moment although the prices may vary depending on your spending or your faction range. Love the fact that there’s something for everyone and if you continue with this approach of having different PW options with value for money scheme, players will have more options to choose from that will ultimately pushes more community engagement in future.

Really love the game but feeling ripped off u get the s tier character this weekend #5 in a mlc with no your or bonus .. I managed to pull him but really nothing to do with him ... after 6 so the first mlc designs where better I think we should go back to that system u get to use the monthly characters during their month ...really disappointed

With this week long event I really liked the amount of tours that where made available for people along with the daily task always felt like you had something to do in the game I also think the choices from the prizewalls where really good for everyone. I hope this is keep going forward for weeklong events. The one small thing I didn’t like was the boss battle this weekend my faction was ok for the most part but I think for most of the community it really would of felt impossible to beat I didn’t mind the health or the buffs for this boss but giving players a -50 gem damage just felt a bit much.

  • I think the boss battle this time around was a bit of a miss. I get that the idea for the boss battle buffs/debuff was probably to get people using different cards from the normal ones we use every boss battle but even with all the buffs to the DX/NWO cards and moments, they still mostly couldn't hang in this one and if you had JD, Jey or Gunther at 6 gold you would use them but that's not the majority so we ended up going back to the usual cards (Julius, Jacob, Regal, etc.) and just going 3-4 turns instead of 1.

As far as the tours go, there probably should have been more points available for talent up as there was a lot of upgrading that needed to happen to get the reworked cards up to par. Other than that, they were fine for the most part

I thought the weekend prize wall was pretty generous. 6SG Gunther was only really available to whaley whales but pretty everything else was priced realistically for value.

I did enjoy the fact that this boss battle required more teamwork than previous ones. There were time when it didn't seem like the gem bonuses took. Probably due to the regular gems counting 50% less, but it was discouraging fact knowing all I was able to do for my faction was provide the lvl 10 unfreeze. I think maybe one more similar BB like this one where we kinda know what to expect wouldn't be so bad.

  • BAFD42

the faction boss event was a bit too difficult. If you want to give the boss more hit points, that’s great, but nerfing the gem damage was a bit much. Also, why is there a 2-3 second lag when the player move timer starts? I can’t start any moves until that much time has elapsed and that can be detrimental to getting moves done in time.

I'm of a mixed opinion on this weekends boss battle. I like that you tried something new but when only certain characters can really do damage it just kind of becomes dumb luck if enough people in your faction got them. Which means the same 5-10 people have to carry everyone which sucks.

The weeklong contests such as these are always pretty solid for different tiers of players.

If you are in an upper faction, there is a solid opportunity for grabbing some high profile things for relatively cheap.

For example, I was able to snag my first yeet plate for less than 60 dollars spent. My RNG wasn’t the best but I was also able to obtain my first tiffy ultimate plate.

The tours were fun and challenging. Using a variety of people made it that much better. The quick action to adjust the tours to be able to use the css was nice.

Faction boss was rather challenging. I enjoyed having to use boss breakers again. Adds a layer to boss to make it a little more competitive.

The change to the points per boss coin was also solid. Makes it more imperative to utilize your boss promoters and rewards those that have invested in them.

The price point for Gunther (without great RNG) wasn’t something that I would replicate. Ostracizing a majority of your player base from working to obtain the card doesn’t seem like a productive business strategy.

challenging BB for the faction, which makes us use our BB on turn 2! Fun event and just missed out on Gunther at 6SG! Did pick up some much needed plates for my cards! On to the next MLE

overall a good event, I liked the way the weeklong and weekend event were linked, benefited the daily players as it should and gave those ftp players a higher finish then they would normally get.

Few issues I found, the shard distribution over the milestones was poor, to finish at milestone 57 of 60 and be just under 2k shards away from him seems well off, i haven’t been that far away from any chase in years.

Had a few tech issues in boss battle itself, hit move drained all boss health yet boss went on to complete his move set and heal, wasn’t massive issue as beat him next turn but still wasn’t as should of been intended. Also sometimes stacking gem damage didn’t work and reset.

Tours having 4 superstars to chose from was good and gave coverage for most to complete the tours

Pw had good variety on there, just worry about the distribution from those “random bag” have seen a lot of bragging pics of people receiving what mere mortals would say is a lot of medallions well 3 quarters of what’s needed to get top pw prize, seems excessive when most get 1% of what’s required.

Liked the variation of boss, really meant needed to work as team to defeat boss higher up, still think boss breakers need looking at, currently only a few worth taking up as others have little to no effect, if we’re never going to need them then why have them there?

Overall good concept for event, few tweaks would of been brilliant

I liked this weekend contest over all.

In my oppinion the weekend contest fit flalewssly into the weeklong contest.

    Bossbattle:

It was a little harder than usual, but i think it was a good change, a little more challenging as usual doesn't hurt. I personally didn't expierienced any lags during the battle, even tho i where in lobbies with people Living on on another continent, so thats a positive, was propbably the first time that there where no challenges at all.

The rewards for Boss battle could be provided a little earlier, no need to wait the next reset.

    Tours:

Pretty open to everyone, no extra ordinary css, so that's a plus in my book. Icalso liked the Talent up- and the best opponent x part of this contest.

    Loot

As far as i have seen the loot for gunther had some good chars in it, definately better than a couple of outdated Charakters and the chase of this weekend as we had it a man Times before.

    Pricewall

In this case i leave out the Popcorn prizewall and i only Focus on the gunther one.

    Imo the pricewall was solid.

You Gave a lot of people the Chance to get their first piper plate, or another one, you can't have enough of these. Also the variety of good plates in this pricewall was a big plus, i personally got my first timeless plate and and i am happy about it. When you had a little more luck with the Medaillons you maybe could have gotten a second or a third, so pretty good variety here.

Personally, the pricewall was the biggest plus this weekend and made the contest a Solid one. I would rate this contest a 8/10, still some spare to improve but much better as man boss battle contests we had before.

    Overall a good weekend contest

    Boss Battle:

It was a challenging, game was smooth without having any bug/lag. Nothing much to feedback on this part, keep up the good work.

    Tours:

Pretty good without needed tons of premium CSS, pretty alot of community player can claim those CSS without a doubts, good work on that.

    Loot:

Loots was great with tons of updated CSS in it, no much to feedback on this.

    Prize Wall:

Prize Wall Definity a solid option the value of popcorns token needed and Gunther Token was seems pretty value overrall.

Provided good amount of option for most of the community that is either catching up or getting their stages of strengthens their roster pretty good variety there.

Overrall this is a good great weekend to end the years, continue to strive and keep up the good work for the community.

    Happy New Year 2025 !

  • I enjoyed this last event. The improvements made to Austin, NWO and DX have given some players a chance to join the META of the game, thanks for that.

This was a challenging week with boss battle however it forced our faction to communicate and plan.

One issue from this event was that I only received 1 useable strap out of the 12 I gained, there were a lot of straps for era/class that don't have any use. For example I got 2 striker Reality era straps that only fit on Triple H. Having more chance to get 100-150 percent belts is great but I would like them to be useable.

    Thanks

the Boss battle was incredibly tough for no reason whatsoever and the rewards were the same as usual so that felt unjustified. There’s no reason for increasing the difficulty of boss battles like that. So many factions that usually max out the boss contest struggled this time around. I liked the integration of weekend contest with the weeklong one but thats the only good thing about my weekend experience. The boss battle was unreasonably hard and the 50% gem defence boost to the boss in uncalled for

Feedback for History of Raw King of Raw Boss Battle

    What I liked

    • The Boss Battle this time was a nice change to the previous ones which were taken down in mere 1 turn. This one actually allowed us to work together by using all requirements such as Freeze, breaking gems, etc. Our faction are not all whales but still managed to work together and hit 4th so that was a good showing from our side.
    • The solo tours were fine as most were pretty doable.
    • Faction event seems reasonable where it was pretty fast to get done and wasn't a boring grind.

    What I disliked

    • Faction spend event as I never see myself spending a ridiculous amount. So I have to give kudos to my faction who did all the heavy lifting where I could snag myself a Tiffy plate.

    Suggestion

    • By now, I don't know if you hear enough from your players but it would actually be wise to allow us to purchase any extra medallions to coincide with the 1 extra day left from purchasing off our medallions or popcorn buckets from the prizewall because there are so many times where we we are few short so if you made this available I am sure we wouldn't mind spending to get there. Sure we could calculate how much we get by the end but there are times where the amount that we open are completely random so there's no way of calculating randomness or even if there isn't players can't be bothered to calculate it precisely to get there. I think there's money here that Scopely is missing out on capitalising

Overall, a good event to end the last MLC of 2024 as we start the new MLC for 2025. Looking forward to the 3 week HOF MLC and how that pans out.
