Really enjoying the game. Only joined in March and find it easy to play. This month I find it nice to get Lyra shards nice to get so far. With being a new player I have liked how you can get good wrestlers by playing casually and not grind 24/7. I like how this month is busy, but having an even on Xmas day might be a bit much for a few people.

Anyone going to address this glitch?
Is it going to be made avaialbe to the rest of the community, will it be rolled back for those that took advantage, or just ignored to allow people that got it to have an unfair advantage?
1 -
This is a visual glitch on the users device who posted the image, This happens sometimes when there are loading issues on a slower device or connection.
The offer in the screenshots belongs to the token special for $99.
The offer posted has never existed nor was available to anyone.

MmmHmmm... "Visual Glitch" 🙄

I would love to provide my feedback but unfortunately ive been unfairly and maliciously targeted with a bug that has locked me out of Showdown entirely, neither the limited time showdown nor the career showdown are available to me now, considering the far reaching impacts this is going to have on my ability to unlock JD McDonagh and Lyra Valkyria this month, I trust I'm gonna be provided fair and adequate compensation considering I would have just breezed through each of my showdown battles with Ramblin' Rabbit.

You will need to deal with this through in game support, I also request you try playing on the portal client to determine if this is a device or account issue.

As of this morning I’m no longer bugged so after playing through the contest in it’s entirely, here is my feedback, note this is from the perspective of a returning player who hasn’t really engages in a weekend showdown contest in over a year.
The good:
I do enjoy having extra tasks not just for superstars I would not normally use otherwise but also for breaking certain gems, as it breaks up the monotony of using your strongest 99 MP character to power through matches to gain notoriety.
Superstar requirements were fair, although I do have a slightly whalier roster than most others will. It’s nice to have a large amount of options to tackle the limited time tours with.
The extended showdown timer literally saved me from not being able to access it at all.
The bad:
Getting bugged out of the showdown competition for a solid 24 hours, of course. Although I’d like to give a shout out to customer support for fixing this issue for me. I rarely have nice things to say about Scopely Customer Support but in this instance they were relatively quick to reply, offering potential fixes for me to try and outright fixing the problem I was having.
Too many different tours, even if they were one node each, I’d much prefer to see the nodes consolidated in future so players spend less time scrolling for tours they’ve yet to clear and more time smashing gems.
Solo progression (and more to the point, the snow globe) being locked behind faction contest milestones, for whale players in less than active factions, this is a kiss of death when it comes to monthly contest progression, I’ve grinded enough showdown in an hour to hit 1% 3 times over, and I’m still a solid 900k off maxing the solo contest and earning the snow globe because my faction is only on 3/5 milestones completed.

Definitely had a good time playing this weekends showdown. I liked being able to use a wide variety of CSS and i really liked the feeling of there almost being too much to do. I found myself in a frantic rush at the end trying to complete the damage done and the destroy X amount of gems. One change that would really help make weekend events a whole lot less stressful would be running them up until reset on Monday afternoons. Between life, family, friends, football (USA) and sleeping in Sunday mornings and afternoons are just the worst time to have to grind. If the SD events were to run up to reset monday that anxiety would be eliminated.

- The Showdown competition was super easy this time and the requirements were fairly accessible although the part CSS does feel little more on the premium side but i’d say overall pretty good start of the mlc.
- Solo contest also hold up pretty good and didn’t disappoint. The milestones were as always good, as well as the faction leaderboard rankings that contains some more stuff and shards for the featured character was nicely done.
- Tours were 10/10. Pretty straightforward and easy to complete even for the newbie players. Which should be the main element as they don’t feel like they’re being forced into or handcuffed.
- The Prize wall derives some changes from the past contests. We have seen that some items were legitimate out of reach for the players that don’t want to spend money or being forced to do so. First of, the prices were cut off in half and secondly, the amount of shards also seems high as well as variety of plates to pick from. Seeing the newly launched JD drip skill plate and moment that was put up at a reasonable price was just amazing. I managed to make my way up and got the plate for absolutely free. Loved this approach and hope it gets better every time.
- Lastly, I want to suggest that it would be nice to see IOW affiliation straps on the PW or chance to pull them out of contest milestones or just add them into the regular strap bonuses. Same thing goes for their tokens that are still a pain to collect from the faction shop daily. So it will make our life easier and less miserable. Overall it’s a great weekend that comes with soo many positive aspects and not much to complain about. Hoping to see similar kind of layout for the upcoming events as well.

What I liked:
- Skill Plate Pricing - It was really good to see some skill plate options within reach for many players this weekend. Usually showdown plates are way overpriced but this weekend players could target a skill plate (or new moment) if they engaged in the contest and/or spent a 'small' amount of money.
- CSS - Having Shredder as one of the premium (1,500 point) characters made the contest much more balanced than showdown contests of past months. I believe players who complete all the tours, and use their energy efficiently should always be able to max the showdown tournament contest. Being able to max the side contest allows most players to earn something tangible during a contest rather than a % of shards for a character that they may or may not recruit at some point in the future.
- Tours - Pretty standard as tours usually aren't an issue for most contests but the difficulty and CSS were reasonable across the board.
What I disliked:
- Prizewall Shards - Usually I aim for shards from most prizewalls, but I felt that the selection of shards and pricing was a little off this time. Most of the shards were common and expensive, while the rare shards feel absolutely worthless when needing 2000-3000 shards. It would be better to have much higher shard amounts, or give players a better chance at their shards during their debut contests.
- R-Truth Tour - This tour really should have been released a day later, or the energy should have been in another tour. It's really easy to accidentally play and earn showdonw energy when the tournament isn't even live. It's also needlessly awkward to go back and replay the energy nodes with the correct CSS after 24 hours.
Overall, a solid showdown contest in comparison to the standard weekend showdown. Given that the other contests during this month don't feel very special for the Christmas season, it would be great to see something special that gives back to the community in a big way in the coming weeks. Recently I have been playing some other games and have been shocked by how much they give back to their entire player base during the holidays in comparison to Champions.

Feedback for Sleigh Bell Slam SD
Positives
- CSS requirements for SD this time was within a reasonable ask where the only rare CSS was Seth Freakin Rollins, so this made SD contest doable and being able to acquire the 700,000 solo contest points allowing us to reach further up the milestone ladder.
- Plates were at a reasonable price, this is the first in a very long time where I could acquire a new plate that was launched recently in the weekend event.
- Solo tours were good and plenty of CSS requirement options means most should be able to complete.
- Appreciate the fact that the limited points for 12 Jeys of Christmas where an acrobat is required in SD was only up for few hours so if people didn't pay attention then they lose 140k contest points. It's great this was added back and changed to solo tours.
- Additional points for CSS was welcomed where majority should be able to use Shredder Roman and a PH for additional points.
Negatives
- Superstar Prizewall shards were not the best although the multiple offering of Maxxine and Jacob Fatu allowed quite a few of my faction mates to be able to recruit them.
- Shards for Uncle Howdy and Abby seemed like an easy pass considering there weren't many given out and now that we're not even close to recruiting it feels pointless to get their shards. The cost of these should be relooked at and heavily reduced.
- What's with the changes to the tour releases as this is different from what we're used to such as the tours with SD energy used to always release when SD is live but to get that one day earlier meant people could have accidentally completed the tour not realising they just wasted their energy.
Overall, this was a good start to the last SD event for the year and quite pleased that I didn't have to spend a lot but came away at a decent milestone and was able to acquire the new "wannabe" Drip plate.

sad to say this wasn’t one of my best events. I only was able to 3.1k medals (100% ftp). I don’t know anyone has suggested this but in my opinion, I miss the event prizewall style that was done 1 or 2 times where the css was offered at 3 start at the cost everyone could do with some grinding and the 6 for the paying people. This would have been nice as both first day and last tour had a tour that require jd judgement day costing those of us who didn’t buy him or get a lucky bag pull not just the kick off tour but also the judgment day tour at the end.

enjoying the game

I was excited that I had all but one characters for showdown. Which inspired me to play more. Despite playing I still couldn’t max the event and the prizewall was sub par with the giveaways.
Shards have been hard to find unless it is done through spending.
I am still looking showboat focused shards.

The overall contest was fine but it was a slight change from the last few months as last few months were like getting more pw medallions and this time it was slightly less but overall enjoyed the contest you guys must have a look at this ..

I like this game very much, spending too much time on this game. Game improved with positive changes and now there's very high chance in getting top tier superstar. Scopely is continuously giving free superstars from time to time. Every MLC is great

I have been playing game for well over 6 years now.! enjoying every bit of it. This game has evolved we have seen from 1 start and now 6sg. what a great evolution. How ever.
I am no way near to f2p I pay lot each month but in terms of rewards i hardly see any worth like i do mega but its been ages since i get any new worthy SS in these megas, i assume it needs to be changed, like if you do certain mega you are guaranteed to get ANY new SS in the mega.
2) the auto open is absolutely horrible to do so, some time we dont get a screen if we do auto open, we dont see rewards. and we need to rely on luck and forget and assume we must have gotten those rewards, but in the past when i did go to support many times i do get these rewards back in my inbox, so it also means auto open has great glitch, there must be an option in the game whether player wants to apply ON-OFF for auto open for milestone and rewards
3) The Talent up milestones have been noting but garbage imagine you are spending 1.5B coins just to get useless shards for some C tier ss. this needs to be improved lot. or upgrading players just to get these 10-50 shards of some useless players. we still do it but it sucks bad.
4) in coaches and entruage double filter would work like now a days there are lot of guys with 2 mp plus some variation of like green gem damage do 30% like this, so we get improvement in fitleration that would help greatly.
5) i am unsure why lots of times when in PW we get the belts, we get 30% move defense strap majority of times :)
6) you should introduce more IOW straps. in the monthly PW its been ages and i am still missing two of them
7) there has been great amount of useless plates which does not met new meta. so may be each plate will be given certain points which can be redeemed to get new plate. like 5 plates surrender to get 1 valuable plate?
Flash feuds have been awesome really loved the rewards.
Keep up the great work

I was pleasantly surprised by the latest weekend SD contest. While I usually, dont expect much from these events, this one exceeded my expectations. I’d like to highlight the positives before discussing the areas that need improvement.
*THE POSITIVES*
THE NEW MOMENT AND THE NEW DRIP PLATE: Normally, I don’t pay much attention to the new flavour of the weekend because they are typically out of my reach but this time around, the new moment and more importantly, the new JD Drip plate(I will be calling it the drip plate because it certainly takes inspiration from the OG Dominator’s Drip plate, so not to be confused with that) were not rated at an exorbitant price which is a big win for many players who play daily, grind and engage with the in game content and want something good for their rosters while they are at it. Not only the plate works wonderfully on a good number of posters, but by the looks of it, it wasn’t as unreachable as new plates have been in the past. So kudos to the team for that as it let’s us look forward to something that we can hope we will get to eventually.
SHREDDER AS ONE OF 1500 POINT/SCORE GUY:
Typically, its uber rare posters that are accorded the 1500 extra points per win in the SD tournament but this time, one of those posters was Shredder who was very accessible to the majority of the active community so even if someone couldn’t do any of the damage tasks, they still could easily manage to hit the gold chest by grinding and getting wins with Shredder. This embarks a positive change from only spenders being rewarded to free to play players getting their due from grinding.
PLAYER FRIENDLY TOURS:The tag team matches were back! I really love this approach as I feel like we are now not shackled to an outdated poster that we have to use to get wins in the tour so we can obtain the CSS rewards! I have praised this format of tour matches before and I am going to do it again because I love this! Tag matches makes the tours fun for a good chunk of the player base who may not have the premium CSS options to go with and are stuck with outdated CSS posters in a one versus one setting with no way out. This was a returning element from past contests, so nothing ground breaking but I love it.
THE PRIZEWALL:
Now let’s get to the meat of the contest. The prizewall had plenty of options. A wide variety of plates and shards were offered which makes sure that most players can get something valuable off of the wall which is pretty neat. The medallion cost of plates was reasonable which appears to be a big shift in the mentality of how SD contests were designed in the pasts. Its a welcoming shift from a point where most of us could only get resources(coins, TP, strap parts etc) to the present point where we can set our sights on a new plate or shards of a poster that we are yet to recruit. The economy of the medallions finally seem to be getting on the right track and I truly appreciate the Event Team for that.
Unfortunately, not everything was rainbows and sunshines as there were a few not so good elements. So, moving onto the negatives:
*THE NEGATIVES*:
While I didn’t face such issues on my end, some people faced some kind of a visual glitch wherein they couldn’t view the SD tournament’s banner in the game so as a result of that, they were locked out from engaging with the SD matches. This isn’t a new game mode so things like this shouldn’t happen and if they do, they need to be fixed as soon as possible.
THE COST OF SHARDS:
While the plates were reasonably priced considering that they are brand new, some of the shard options were certainly a bit out of reach. Now, I don’t mind some things being expensive as I understand that it’s a business, but some of the posters for which shards were offered are not new. Technician Charlotte was arguably the best female poster in this game when she was released but 6 months have gone by since her debut, and in the meantime, she has been dethroned from the top spot. Unless you are in a top 20 faction or get a very high rank in the SD tournament(which someone who is chasing charlotte now isn’t going to be able to do), you are not getting to 6500 medallions that are needed to get 145 of her shards. Now, I don’t mind spending a bit, but if I am expected to spend $20-$30 every time her shards are offered, its going to take $150+ to recruit her which is quite unreasonable for a poster that is no longer the best and is past their prime.
A similar thing can be said about the Buzzard’s Beak plate as well. It’s function is similar to the heartstopper(the only difference is of the colour) and yet it was out of reach for most of us while the heartstopper- the plate it takes an inspiration from- has been getting accessible to the community.
*MY SUGGESTIONS*:Prior testing of in game content needs to be done diligently before releasing it into the game so players do not suffer. Since practically everything is time sensitive in the game, it’s the players who suffer the most from such lapses. Giving extra energy cans as compensation doesn’t always make up for the loss of time because people prefer playing at certain times depending on their time zone. This can leave a sour taste in player’s mouths when they are locked out of content at their preferred playtime, through no fault of their own.
The medallion economy being more balanced and players being rewarded for their efforts and skill is a nice touch. Most of us now wont feel completely isolated by the prizewalls of the earlier kind that had pretty much everything at unattainable costs. Keep up with this positive shift as it benefits everyone.
Going forward, I would like to see more free posters being the 1500 point wrestler!
Overall, a solid experience for me with more positives than negatives. Kudos to the team for being on the right track.

I recently started playing this game again after a 2 year break. I see that there are a lot of changes to the game, some good, some bad. I like that there is no limit to the amount of showdown shop coins you can win, however, I do not like that showdown mode has been monetized, the whole energy system seems unnecessary, I get that scopely is a business, but not every aspect of the game needs to be pay to play. The contest design was great, and I enjoyed it, just wish showdown was more readily available without capping how much I can play without paying
0 -
I absolutely love the game. Been playing for about 5 years now and it's been my longest playing game ever. I enjoyed the weekend contest. It was easy to play and I got the good chest.
0 -
your contest are decent but the only thing is u make it impossible to get anywhere when you have css superstars as bonus when you know just like the rest of the world that the only way to have them is if you spend thousands of dollars to get them. Other then those requirements the contests are fairly decent
0 -
Though there are lots of side contests going on at the same time which makes it interesting, shards for the featured characters are far fewer compared to last month.
0 -
the event was alright. Was easy enough to meet all the requirements to get prizewall tokens, but still it would be nice to see more available without having to spend a small fortune..
0 -
This SD was one of the most enjoyable in recent memory. The format was great and the prizewall was phenomenal. Great quality of life and play at your pace while getting great rewards through faction or spend or both.
The wall has something for everyone. New stuff including a new moment and devil's drip, but also well priced (minus the Chelsea plate, which seemed a bit odd) + shards of recently released Abby and Howdy for a fair amount.
The loot having the plate was also very nice for those who spend more.
Let's follow this model.

Hi
1.i must say showdown events was one of the best this time and was easy. I really appreciate your concern and make this showdown event enjoyable.
2.tours were also good and really enjoy it and css need to be check, like make tours playable for f2p, increase the points values in game. So we can grab more milestone.
3.regarding prizewall, it's was very interesting and have lots resources and straps, shards, so on. But things need to improved is prizewall also. Increased the medallions and make posters shards gettable also. 6500-5500 is hard to reach , so decrease the value if medallions it's will be easy to buy posters shards.
4.overall like the contests and hope new awesome events will come and really have fun this event and good luck.
