I enjoyed a lot about the weekend event.
Firstly love we got another 6 star bronze max trial again, hope this continues going forward as it gives a real insight to how good the character is!
The 30 loot coins for 40 is a good insensitive to get involved with the purchasing & overall felt there was good deals like the Montez deal and the 30 loot coins.
The character is superb, from the character model to the moves and build, I knew HIM would be one of the top releases this month and you didn’t disappoint!
The NXT characters making moves in the game finally!!
Tours
The tours were decent, I managed to get all of them done accept the Gargano one. Personally, for the first tour I would have liked to see an ALL NXT one or add Regal to the Gargano & Solo one. Gargano being not one of the better tech characters and Solo being one of the higher end premium characters, we just needed something in the middle, but I do get you making us work for those 100 shards!
Boss
Overall Boss wasn’t too bad, easy! CSS was great and was able to max in short time. Level 23 was easy enough for those who have invested in Z-Dom, every time it’s green gem damage Z-Dom is the man! Bonus, he was a free character!
Didn’t experience much in the way of connection errors or freezes, so good job team!
If anything, to be critical, knowing Z-Dom was the main character to use, a team of 4 Z-Dom’s 6 star silver could have dealt with Level 25…
Prizewall
Great prizewall in my opinion, plenty to choose from in terms of premium shards and rare plates. Myself was able to get two new plates from the prizewall, although those Solo shards were talking to me!
Only improvement to the prizewall would have been a change in plates from what was offered midweek. Perhaps the Rocky plates or the 4th of July ones!
Milestones
Decent of resources and medallions throughout if you were able to get the milestones. The easy max for Boss CSS certainly helped to progress around the 15-18 milestone. One thing I would like to have seen is premium chests towards the last 3 milestones for those extra shards.
Improvements / Suggestions –
· Boss Revival Tokens – This to be used instead of cash to revive when health has been lost. Can be exchanged in the boss shop using boss currency.
· Theme music – For those that remember, how awesome was it when you hovered over a character on Super Wrestlemania on Sega Megadrive and you heard a rendition of the theme song?! I would love this feature introduced into Champions on the character screen when levelling up / enhancing.
· 5 star diamond tokens in the SD store and Stip Shops.
· Update the login items, we all don’t need Showboat Paige anymore…
· Put Blitz tickets in milestones rewards.
· Change the tier system to be more dynamic based on the build, strap and plate. For example Cody Rhodes Tech, if 6 star silver, with Ultimate Strap 100% gem damage, Hunters plate and Eyes of Judgement build, this should then change to S Tier. By it scaling based on what build you create, you know you’re doing something right!

Shards:
I preferred the format we had not long ago where the shards where available as a lump one time purchase as opposed to the boss shop refreshes.
I think the amount offered was fair for such a powerful character and useful trainer.
I do find that the recent forks in shard / recruitment/ prizewall options are a bit distressing. It seems where in the past i could make a purchase that bundles wall currency, pulls, shards and/or some blended approach. lately it seems like i have to choose very definitively between shard loot, pulls, medallions, with limited information that is subject to change.
Boss battle and event:
I didnt have performance issues, and i felt the battle itself was on par with past events. If your faction had the key then it was relatively painless.
The rarity requirements are a mixed bag. i don't mind leveling characters with useful training abilities but i found myself choosing to not go further in the css contest when faced with the choice of taking a character further than needed.
I would like a bit more variety in boss battles as some gem types/ colors/ move effects seem to be neglected while others (green/ multis) seem to be part of a much more regular cycle.
I appreciate that there are bonuses weighted towards those who pull the new card but previously that bonus was the card was a great option for the boss and bonus points.
Now it seems that if i don't pull the card i'm all but out of the running for the weekend and may as well detach from the game. It takes the "faction" aspect out of faction boss along with the talent up going by the wayside.
Tours:
No problem with these as each had an attainable and premium option as css, along with reasonable opponent levels.
Prize wall:
recently the trend seems to be that if i'm not going to heavily invest then i'm relegated to replenishing coins/ strap parts etc. id hope that newer players would be able to grind their way to some game changing shards/ plates.
I'm a very big fan of Melo, I enjoy faction boss, I play in a faction that does well in boss, and i'm willing to spend occasionally when the value is right, i'm also willing to grind on a weekend where i dont have much else going on. The format of this weekend unfortunately left me in a place where i didnt partake in much of the above, i logged in, did my part, finished the limited time events and was more or less done with it all in about 40 mins. I dont want to feel obligated to play all weekend , but id also like to have some incentive to put in more than the minimum if time allows.

Another idea I had why not make a loot devoted just for plates. There are so many plates in this game now why not have a loot that has just plates in it? Not saying put all the newest plates in their but the older ones would be nice with like a rare chance at getting an ultimate plate. A lot of newer players and F2P never get the chance to see what it's like to add a plate to a strap so this would give those players an opportunity to do that. I know we got the titles loot but the odds of a plate popping out of that are insane. I watched DJ do a YouTube video and opened a ton and didn't get 1 plate.

Rating this event in the middle, for a few reasons.
The highs of this were another great addition to the wwe champions roster, the trial did give us this peek, the movesets and damage is awesome with great recycle at hand. Do think the shards amounts were a little unjust though and no faction competition?
For what its worth i did however walk away from this event with a plate and a few extra goodies from the prizewall, these weekend chase prizewalls are deffinatley not dissapointing at the moment and are a great feature to any player just starting to build their plate collection or for a player looking to perfect certain champions builds.
Loot same old stuff, no featured for a 40 or discounted at 30 and 1x mega rare guaranteed. I will also add it was nice to see a discounted price on a mega pull for a change (other than when theres certain store mess ups). Must say i could get behind spending half the price for a mega pull in future. That sorta price is perfect if the inclusive is 1x mega guaranteed instead of a featured.
Faction boss still has some minor connection bugs that need tweaking but i get that we overload the servers trying to compete for the prime positions in Boss battle for rewards. Would be nice to have a slider/drop down menu to select the level of boss we want instead of a laggy input click/push. Boss CSS was relitively easy to max this time round literally had 3 of the contest stars and still hit the final milestone for some decent shard amounts and resource.
For the solo tours i get that for the CSS its gonna be premium stars but Solo Sikoa is one of the least heavy weighted in loot from what ive seen so far and the filler for the free superstar was Gargano. Does seem like you want us to waste more resources just for a chance at those premium chests or shards, cant be doing a 5ss gargano vs 6sb without spending cash to revive repeatedly or resort to cheese tactics.
Couple of improvements i think should be included; going back to my previous comment about using cash to revive, i think if you opt in for the revive it should deplete your opponents mp so that when you come back you dont end up wasting that 400-800 cash. Deffinatley feels like a kick to the curb if youve used ypur props already and just get spiked that last second. I also think that you could improve the diamond token loot and the headliner loot, maybe adjust them based on League level so we can actually get useful tokens to help progress as the recent token exchange seems like a bad trade as we should be allowed more tokens for the amount you request for the trade.
As said at the start 5/10. On the fence with that one. Great Prize wall but let down by silly little things such as loot and premium champ requirements

Lot of ups and downs in this one - I'll explain:
- I thought it was a pretty paltry showing shard-wise for Melo - not exactly Khali or Umaga levels of paltry, but still pretty meager. On the other hand, we did get some okay shard layouts (all 10 a pop, lol) and a good handful of medallions, and they came in handy - more on that later.
- The streak is over - we got another awful Friday tour. That's the only real objectionable one (and I despise the 'unicorn-rare top guy or useless freebie guy' requirement set), and the challenge matches, while awkward, at least provided opportunities for a handful of various showboats.
- I was expecting this boss to suck and it kinda did, but for the most part it was actually manageable, as was the associated superstar contest. I don't know if I've said this in prior feedbacks, but I do appreciate that it's now more than feasible to reach the end of the solo points in the superstar contest largely on your own (and your faction's I guess) abilities and not having to rely on bonus characters - It's something I liked about previous showdown superstar contests and I'm still waiting for it to come to feud.
- I'll be honest, this wall would have been a bust if not for one thing - the surprisingly cheap ultimate plates. I'm really hoping this means that we'll get more ultimate plates into the ecosystem that aren't the useless defensive stance plates. If I never see another defensive stance plate in my life, it'll be too soon. As for how it relates to this event, it's something nice that isn't going to change your roster, but it feels like a meaningful reward for playing the event, and really can keep someone going in the larger scale of things.

Boss Battle was definitely one of the more stable weekends we’ve had recently. Didn’t hear a ton about issues.
Tours overall were fine, Gargano was a little rough. I wish there was consistency in terms of FB shards provided since this is a harder poster to get.
overall strong event.
