There are usually Shards for the new character; was this an oversight, or is there not going to be any?
It would be nice if there was. It probably wouldn't change anything, but it's like seeing someone win the lottery on TV; makes it seems attainable, ya know?

It would be good if for some time they make it easy for you to get the super star, they always put fighters that you don't have, so there's no point in ever reaching your goal if you don't invest money
0 -
It will be good if give us the opportunity to get even a previous superstar
0 -
I love the game but yeah they never let you get the superstar that you need to use for the contest unless you spend money they should give that everyhow and then free or something or an easier way to get it I play it daily they should give their daily players a Better incentive or an easier way of getting those superstars

I’m not seeing my feud steps in the store as bonus for purchasing the $4.99 pack each Friday last month. Anyone else?

Well, let's analyze this event, I will not describe everything, focusing on the bad and the good:
Bad:
- The new character drops out entirely (of course, he does not drop out and units will have him).
- Bonus feud roads that have characters that units have.
- Disgusting solo roads.
- Disgusting chests.
- The wall of prizes, which is not available on the second day.
- Strange choice of buying characters in the manga.
- Donate faction event.
- The minimum wage has been raised to 75 millions again.
- A huge number of points are required for an undersized faction event.
- Disgusting additional characters in a feud.
- Disgusting donation pools.
Good:
- free coins from feud with resourcess
- strong new character
Outcome:
A disgusting money-sucking event with no way to get a new character for free or even get an opportunity to get one later on. My rating is 1/10.
Well, as I understand it, purchases must be stopped. Nothing new has appeared in my roster for a long time, and now they also remove the ability to complete the character in the future.
P.S.
Editing because I found a disgusting bug:
The game just freezes and won't load. Changing characters doesn't help either.

It’s pretty disappointing to not have any shards available to chase the new Rock. Even his bags/chests don’t give his shards, just shards for other characters with a tiny chance to get the new Rock. It makes him feel entirely unobtainable.
The resources for maxing out the feud contest (with 75mil points) are very nice, but the feud start times are very awkward for any time zones other than PST. The next feud starts at 11pm here, even later on the east coast. That’s rough.

This is the worst feud and monthly event , in my 5 years playing this game
1 -
Was excited to get mem rock shards atleast. But they Paywalled them so much. Zero shards of new rock and they want to be stingy with the old one? That's low bro.
2 -
Same as most disappointed not to be able to win shards. Never a fan of flash feuds as 1st usually starts at 2am and at awkward times would prefer just normal 24 hrs feud. Feel it's fairer on all players. The tours are okay just shame about yhe shards.

Before listing the pros and cons of the event I want to say that I’m really disappointed and frustrated with the direction of the game right now. This month has been horrible. All I want to do is play the game and earn rewards to make progress, but we're not being allowed to do that.
“(not grindable)” … What on earth is this?? What kind of game doesn’t want their players/customers playing their game? It’s beyond insanity. Is it really hurting your bottom line if a few players really want to play 200/400/600/800/1000/12000 matches to get some extra resources??
I’ve spent 0 dollars on every single contest this month because you are literally telling us not to play. Wake up and fix your game.
Moving on...
PROS:
- Chests/Bags - Overall this weekend, I got around 60-70 shards for 3 different characters I don't have. While this doesn't get me very close to recruiting any of them, it's nice to make some progress.
- The faction gifts were a nice surprise. Pulling a loot coin and checking off the '1st loot coin' task without spending was nice.
- The prizewall had the best selection of items we've seen for a while. Shame I couldn't earn enough medallions without spending to choose anything worthwhile, but good for the spenders for sure.
CONS:
- The 5k point method was removed from the CSS contest. Awful, awful decision. Due to the crazy rare requirements, I would have needed 1,200 matches to max the contest. But this was seen as too generous to the players?? So out of touch it's unbelievable.
- 0 shard release. These are an instant turn-off as soon as you see the blog because it makes you wonder why you would bother to spend time at the weekend participating at all. I can understand having rare posters, but maybe keep them to midweek spend events and have the weekend contest be something that we can actually play and participate in?
- Yet another community event flop. It's strange how you keep overestimating the number of active players you have. These contests need some kind of grindable point method to make them maxable. It's not good for community morale to keep falling short and missing the possible rewards.
3 -
The truth is that they do not find fragments of the rock, it is very unfortunate, the event was normal, the tours were fairly accessible, since most versions of the rock are grade s and can be obtained by buying, and there are people whose economic situation does not allow them to buy, like those in the US. faction feud was good but I have presented some freezing bugs that made me lose points fix that in general it was a bit of a regular event the rewards should increase the amount of diamond and emerald token and make them a little more accessible since they are always in the high rewards and several people do not have the extras to reach those rewards so this event was normal although it was very bad not to give any fragments of the rock

I'll be the first to admit I generally have the awareness to see that most of the weekends I post after an event, it's mostly me saying how much things sucked.
And at face value, there was a lot to this event that is pretty easy to put people off but if you let it play out, there was actually a lot to enjoy about this weekend. It's been interesting!
NOT GOOD
- Obviously, a shardless recruit just off the rip usually makes me and a lot of people check out. It's just been a while since one and I got mixed feelings on it. I had a fate glimmer of hope of maybe this would finally be the weekend we got a return to top X warscore gets the card but no dice. Could be worse, but it is always a feel bad to just kinda assume you're gonna be on 0 shards forever.
- The ongoing murder of CSS competition. I mean at this point, I just assume this is gonna be the way it is. It's really, really disappointing to take this grind element out of the weekend for people that want to do it. One idea that I saw come up in my faction: if going forward this event is just going to be a straight roster check, maybe consider just making all the CSS a straightforward one off? Some of the css are always less than ideal and it's kinda like you either have it or you don't. At least for flash it would be a little more enjoyable if it was a fastest in and out, especially for rounds like flash 2 that were starting at midnight here in some of the states after people got to enjoy the PLE.
- Did not particularly enjoy the faction spend contest just being a one day event. Personally, I was not in a position really to throw down massively so my opinion only goes so far (For full transparency, the only spending I did this weekend was the $5 weekend pack and 2 $20 packs for the faction event) but the structure kinda made people take all their shots early. Especially for a shardless recruit, why? Not the end of the world but didn't seem particularly needed.
- I'll admit I made it work, but a good chunk of feud lineups were a bit restrictive were really cramped some fun creativity options in some lineups.
GOOD
- This does certainly come from being in the position of being in a top faction/being an established player/etc etc but if you look outside the weekend card, the resources this weekend were pretty dang solid IMO. My faction collectively was able to get to the 15m milestone in the early contest which got me (and a good chunk of others!) MEM Rock which many of us kinda never expected to happen. This is very cool!! Yes, it was all behind some big spending but it was nice to finally get a new card that has eluded many players.
- Related: With my upfront less than $50 spending, I was able to get to 9 medallions for the weekend. And personally, I think 9 medallions on the prizewall for a lot of people is pretty solid. Plenty of great plate and tokens options to choose from for minimal spending, and I do notice if I wanted to grab an extra medallion or two it's not the most terribly expensive. Personally, getting a new plate I've never had and some extra goodies a fun get.
- I guess this is a chain on the same theme, but the shards for some other premium characters seemed to come up decent for a lot of people. I personally picked up over 100 MoD Taker shards which puts me a LOT closer to him than I was going into the weekend and it's a nice feeling to inch closer to a high end unlock without spending.
- Personally, I thought the weekend tours were pretty straightforward and easy. I will say the Rock tour was a toughie and with some premium CSS but y'know, I'm always down for a little bit of a challenge. I even got to see some people in my faction clearing it with both The Great One and People's Champ. Kinda fun!
Overall, not a bad weekend after coming into totally checked out IMO! I did get to see some previews for Rock. Looks like a massively fun and good card, would be great to land him someday but I'm not holding my breath for sure. But I liked the idea and execution of the medallions and prizewall! I will say the rollout of the prizewall was a bit messy but a lot of players picking up new plates and resources for mostly just playing the event is nice. It might not be the new chase card, but it's nice to feel like you can come out of the weekends with *something* new.
Xoxo,
Dear You

We should really be well past the zero shard recruit stage of this game.

i'll say this a good event for top factions and players with good wrestlers ,easy stuff to get
in the other hand for players without good wrestlers or not in a good faction then is kinda impossible to get something
being in a bad factions with a limited amount of wrestlers will get you few stuff
landed a 6 star finn balor and with him i could only get 25 million in the total of the factions feud event
for the spending event didn't get anything
and for the faction event got only the first objective

Oh man, what an awful awful event. Let's run it down
1) Midnight start time for a flash feud for est? Just ridiculous, anyone in est always gets done the worst with your start times. Really unfair, and you made it worse this time.
2) No shards of event Superstar, you will never be able to get this superstar, you must have this superstar for everything in the future.... Smh
3)Awful prizewall
4) a community event for... A small amount of coins....
5) The superstar competition - I HATE THIS, IT JUST GUARANTEES THAT YOU CAN NEVER GET THE LAST MILESTONE, WHO HAS ALL THESE SUPERSTARS!? LIKE 10 PEOPLE!? STOP THIS!
6) God I hated this event, worst one in forever. Just awful, and this after the " since Terry funk died you can get him if you are engaged in contest" lie.
Pay attention to your players, you are upsetting a lot of us with false promises and just a ridiculously high bar of "we only care about the 500 people who spend a grand per event". Many more of us do spend weekly, we deserve your attention as well.

I don't have an opening joke. I do have a string of four letter words I'm tempted to post, but I know another place I could actually post those and have them stay up for longer than 15 minutes.
- 0. Shards. Available. I've briefly mentioned cardinal sins events can pull off in the past, and never really detailed all of them (mainly because these review posts are mostly stream-of-consciousness rambling) but one of them is definitely this - the shard recruit is a core part of the event because it directly gives one both a short-term indicator of performance and makes the character, you know, possible to work towards later on. Without it, there's no flow, feel of progression, or incentive - it has become the backbone of the weekend event. There are other questionable decisions made in this event, but this is the one that killed it dead for me before I even saw anyone begin to scroll downwards.
- What about everything else, then? The shard selection was passable but default bags were giving out 10 shards each for the rarer shards - are you that hard up for any sort of reward that weighting them towards Striker Farooq from hell to back wasn't enough? There was talk of getting MEM Rock shards as an alternative (another guy who was a 0-shard release so I never opted for his shards and I guarantee you I will never shard recruit) and I think I got less than 200 shards. I'm now at 755 shards. 1,245 away. Let me break out the streamers and celebrate!
- Tours were subpar - only good part was DX HHH was actually on sale as a poster, and that card could give a lot of rosters a kick up the ass. Friday tour wasn't awful for once, but the Rock tour was just dreadful (and highlighted the big issue with making a ten-thousand dollar paywall for a usable Rock) and the others were... fine, I suppose. Requiring PH Farooq for the challenge tour is not what I'd call good, but honestly nothing in these tours mattered (because no Tech Rock shards) so why do I care, I quarter-assed these.
- Feud drug like hell - I had every character for the middle rows, and besides PH Faarooq I wouldn't call them too out of pocket to get. My kingdom for a god damn open slot.
- This superstar competition was a directed statement of ill intent - tiebreaker was just straight-up a spend with no intention of actually working between milestones (the fact that people are bargaining for 200 matches between milestones grinding to return shows that something is required for this), and this was an extra-nasty set of requirements, meaning that I was especially incentivized to sleep through feuds.
- Usually community events in other games are set up in that if it doesn't appear to reach a given milestone in time, there just happens to be an extension to the event or there's a sudden surge of progression out of nowhere. You guys, though, will honestly and earnestly let a community contest land with a bigger thud than a balloon full of wet sand, and that's... admirable? But it's also taught me not to even bother with the community contests because so few of them pan out to the point where any meaningful reward will be fulfilled.

If I didn't care about my faction, this would have been a minimal effort event for me for sure. I never get bag/chest pulls of the new person, so shards at minimum is all I look forward to for progress towards them. Well, the most I got out these were High Chief, LWO Eddie, and Striker Shayna shards all of whom I have already. If not for the sheer luck of getting a new moment and Paul shards from maxing warscore, this weekend was a big time sink for very little payout.
I also get this odd red ring glitch mid match with SB Naka where I can't do anything and have force close the game, effectively killing my guy. I like this game, but this was a brutal month to be honest. From crazy EST feud times, to the sudden need for 6SS to max Boss Battle with no real heads-up, it's has been a rough one.

I’m going to go ‘good’ then ‘bad’ but … spoiler alert… this was a pretty poor weekend.
Good (and lots of these are stretches):
- Feud was good, even if there were some strict stipulations. There seemed to be a issue at the start of some matches (as noted by others).
- The faction bags were a nice idea.
- The rewards from the contests were, as always, good. We need coin, TP and tokens and we got them.
- There may have been other nice bits - good new (but unobtainable) superstar etc.
Bad:
- only been able to recruit the new superstar through pulls or low-drop bags. At least the shards give us hope and more chance later.
- Tours: were really really bad - especially with a ‘rock required’ but seemingly only the Rocks we want you to use/level up. It scuppered the solo contest for many.
- Superstar contest: This has been good for the last few feuds, in as much as you could get the solo points without having lots of paywall characters. This time, no. And the tie-breaker? Come on. Very very poor. Again, it just made the later levels of the solo contest pointless.
- Free bags and pulls. Yes, they are free, but wooo… were the drops poor. You know what, resources are good but even that was a bit rubbish in the current meta. I’ll put the loot pulls here too - we all know the odds are terrible and very poorly (cowardly?) advertised. But the value for money is rock-bottom (pun-intended).
- There was nothing here for players.
I suppose the disclaimer here would be that we have had some good week events recently, there has been a lot given back to players. But this has been a very poor poor weekend.
1 -
There was a lot of connection issues during the feuds which made the event extremely frustrating. If this can be addressed it would be appreciated
1 -
Lets start of with the worst part of the event. Zero shards of the rock! Nobody likes a zero shard event, There's very little incentive there to spend because we know there's no chance to recruit!
What did i like?
I actually liked the spend event portion of the event, The gift bags were amazing and the milestones were great. Now if only you could get the amount we have to spend correct that would have been amazing!
The feud times for these flash feuds were so much better for anyone other then the US. Please stick to these times so for once us Europeans don't have to start feuding at midnight or 2am every month.
Gold boxes
Although they didn't have any rock shards they paid well on taker and bradshaw shards which i needed both off and managed to recruit bradshaw!
Skill plate prizewall
This is a massive massive win!! I can't see anybody thinking this was a bad idea. This should be a monthly addition. Also instead of releasing a new character one weekend make it a plate wall weekend where we can win medallions and get awesome prizes!
What I didn't like?
The CCS competition was far too restricted requiring every damn paid superstar this month plus liv and Indi! made it impossible for most to max. The milestones after the solo points where not worth the effort if you couldn't max. If this is gonna be the case make the milestones more juicy!
Offers didn't often appear in my store or others stores so i missed out, although im happy to have spent very little.
Overall
I feel this weekend could have been near perfect if it wasn't for the shardless recruit of the rock.

Feedback for Rise of Great One Flash Fued
Positives
- New Rock looks impressive and likely the strongest in the current meta.
- It's great there were plenty of MEM shards given out but still not enough to warrant being able to recruit him though.
- I like that the Chests, Bag and Flash Fued Loot included a number of new superstars shards from this month, it wasn't many but enough to make a small dent to inching closer to recruiting them.
- Flash fued was fine for me personally, aim was to max warscore, do what I can for superstar competition and call it.
- Solo Tours and CSS was good with the options offered, was able to complete them all.
- The Faction Gift bag was a good incentive to get people to spend so others can get small gains. I don't think this is an option if you spent in Web portal, if not please make this an option.
Negatives
- It's great there's a new Rock but not so much considering there's no shard release, so he's probably going to be one in the wont be able to recruit after 2 years bucket.
- MEM Rock was released with no shards so those who didn't spend or are not heavy spenders are still miles away from recruiting him, therefore making this a very boring Flash Fued where there was no option to recruit someone new.
- If you choose not to spend and grind fued then you end up with just 4 medallions so no plate options which makes it a boring weekend event where even if you played you don't really come away with anything to show far.
Another "meh" Flash Fued Event, I managed to get 4 medallions and would need to spend to atleast get the others. Personally I don't think I will spend to obtain plates when I'd rather spend to obtain new/rare superstars so will save my money for something else down the road.
2 -
I started off the weekend not very interested in the upcoming new character involved with the Faction Feud. But the new Rock looks amazing and fills the Attitude era, so I got more excited. I hit all of the Faction Feud contest milestones.
The Good
-The new Rock looks amazing and incredibly strong, while still seeming fairly balanced.
-The Nation of Domination tag link is incredibly strong with its 50% gem damage bonus. It’s great to see tag links becoming more useful instead of +1 MP.
-Changing Kama’s Big Boot move to a combo was game-changing. He went from pretty terrible to good. Definitely a massive improvement.
-Faction Feud milestones are always attainable if you’re willing to grind. Having multiple feuds running through the weekend definitely helps alleviate some of that grind so it’s not all in one day.
-The resources gained from the milestones are always a huge boon. TP, coins, Ultimate belts, medals, all great. The TP especially restocked me very well, and it’s always nice to get a lot of shard bags and chests to chase the new character.
The Not as Good
-There was no real chasing the new Rock, which was a huge bummer. Setting the recent bags and chests to always give shards for the new character has been amazing and allows me to chase them, making them feel attainable. I finished this event with no new Rock and 0 shards for him, despite maxing out the feud milestones. It was a pretty big bummer, especially after finishing the chase for Terry Funk at 1600/2000 and Liv Morgan at 1000/2000. They feel attainable in the future; the new Rock does not.
-The start time for the night Feud on Saturday was rough. Starting at 11pm in my time zone made it much more grindy and exhausting instead of fun, especially after watching WWE Payback.
-I am lucky enough to have the great Ken Shamrock Master of the Ankle Lock, so his designation as a required Tour unit was great. But the required Tour with The Rock was not completable for me. I only have Rocky Maivia and the Showboat Rock, both of whom are not good enough to be worth investing resources into. If I had either Trickster Rock, then I would have had no issues.
Suggestions
-Put the new character shards back in their bags and chests! It makes the character feel attainable when you can make progress by chasing their shards. It’s massively disheartening to complete so much of a new character’s event with no shards or progress to show for it.
-Schedule nighttime events earlier in the evening. A start time of 8pm is much more fun than 11pm. Aligning the event’s runtime with the WWE PLE on Saturday nights would make it a nice game to play during the downtime between matches on the PLE.
-Make a few more options for Tour-required characters that aren’t terrible. The Rock especially is a rough event without the newest Rock or one of the Tricksters. I get that’s part of the intent, but I at least would be much more willing to spend some cash chasing shards if I already made progress on a new character instead of hoping on the tiny chance to get them whole from a bag.
All around, pretty standard Faction Feud event. Fun, but very disappointing to have no progress on the new Rock.

I'll preface this with a quick overview of where my perspective is coming from. I'm a daily player currently at League 11 and 4 million power. That is to say, I'm a new player that started just a few short months ago, but I am a whale. WWE Champions is not the only game I play or the only one I spend in.
Starting with the obvious, the chase for the event. The new Rock is a very obvious example of Power Creep, as have been the last few characters to come out - though they were less extreme. Ignoring all of the general arguments that arise from power creep, I'll concentrate on just the most relevant to Event Feedback. Firstly, you've made the decision to make this a 0 shard character, requiring pure rng that is heavily favored against acquisition as the only means of obtaining this character during the event, leaving me with almost zero incentive to participate or spend. Disregarding the ample selection of Skill Plates in the prize wall, this events only savign grace, my rewards consisted solely of materials that I already get through IAPs in actually good events. I don't spend to get coin and TP, or even straps and medals. I expect those as supplemental rewards while getting the chase. When the milestones grant me the same thing as the IAPs themselves, with no goal as a very clear special reward, there simply is no incentive.
Additionally, of lesser importance but still worth mentioning, the event greatly rewarding those who were lucky instead of those who had much higher participation or higher spending instead. I'm always in favor of F2P sources, even rng ones, that can allow every player the same opportunity and great characters and items. The reward for that should've ended at being lucky enough to obtain this new overpowered character for free and relishing in the fact that they are one of the few who will have it. What should not have happened is having the event provide them with insurmountable bonuses as well. The best example of this was allowing those players to gain an additional 5 million points in the supplemental War Score event. The event which is un-grindable and granted points in the main Solo event. This meant that a player that grinded out milestones and spent money in several of the previous events, obtaining characters which only granted 1 million points each, had less advantage than someone who was simply lucky and nothing else. To clarify, having the chase should expedite milestone progress and increase overall rewards, but when the chase in unable to be earned and only gotten through rng so unfavorable that you're better off buying a lottery ticket, it's on the verge of becoming insulting, even more so when those advantages outweigh those that grinded and spent with no additional gains whatsoever.
Issues not pertaining to the unobtainable chase are issues that persist regardless of this particular event and can be found in others. One of which, as others have previously mentioned, the FLash Feud and it's ridiculous timeframes are infuriating and burdensome. I'm frtunate enough to be able to grind out enough points to finish the Event milestone in the first run, but I still need to set alarms to wake up in the middle of the night so that I can get the points for the supplemental event for using CSS as well as support my Faction members by helping them queue and clear faster and well as increasing our overall score for LB position. Another issue is that of the IAPs and Prizewall debut/duration. The prizewall not being active from the start made it much more difficult to plan out purchasing to obtain the prizes I wanted. Not knowing what exchanges are available and what their cost is should never be the case. I can't see how this strategy would ever be helpful to either the players or your own KPIs. The same holds true for the IAps themselves. Not kning how many offers will contain prizewall currency and how much they will contain, makes it difficult to judge when to spend and on what it should be spent on. Imo, holding better IAPs untilt he final day makes one hold their money until then, but also creates FOMO for the first few days, which is frustrating and can be agonizing simply because you don't have all the facts. Adversely, Spending on the first few days and then seeing the better offers on the final day create regret and lowers spending confidence altogether (something significantly power creeping your characters also does in the long run *cough cough*).
It was also quite apparent that some goals were severely overestimated. The global event on the portal also suggests a dire need to analyze data better. It took the community 3 days to achieve half of the ultimate goal, which is wild considering it involved no need to spend. Having played for only ~3 months, I don;t have a lot of insight on historic frequency or performance of the global portal events, but I would hope the outcome of this one is not the norm. Another was the Faction spending event. Only gaining points through spending Loot Coins. This is where those "plenty of mem rock shards available" boasts on the blog were pointing to, and if I recall correctly 1/3rd of those were tied to the 3rd to last milestone that only 2 Factions were able to obtain. The remaining 2/3rds of the shards were much easier to obtain for the overwhelming majority of Factions while we're at it. I am willing to listen to any argument regarding making the chase virtually unobtainable, but locking a much older character behind a paywall this large, whether highlighted on the event blog or not, is unacceptable imo.
I think the best way I can sum everything up is by saying that I absolutely grinded out every event and spent a very large amount of money on this event, but I absolutely would not do it again. Not because I didn't feel rewarded, but because the way I was would not matter to me in the next iteration of this format. Being a very new player, I have no skill plates and their importance in the endgame is unquestionable. Through the spending I did, I was able to walk away with 7 new skill plates at the end. It could have been 9 new skill plates, but as I stated earlier, not knowing the cost of the prizewall exchanges or what offers are available, I was unable to maximize my spending and went after early IAPs that were less efficient If I was a veteran player with these skill plates already, my wallet would have stayed closed once I knew there was no chance at getting the chase. If I had been a F2P, whether new or veteran, I know that I would have not enjoyed this event because there was no goal to aim for. Only due to the combination of my being new and being a whale did I have any reason to participate or spend, and unless this is ran again with a completely different set of plates available, I absolutely would ignore it. No chase? No reasonable expectation of at least some older characters? I don't care how many plates, straps, medals, coins, etc. I can get from the event, if I don't have characters to use them on, those materials have no value. I disagree with making the new character as overpowered as it was, making it a 0 shard event, and not at least making mem rock more accessible. I do think an event format that highlights materials as the goals, as long as those materials are valuable endgame ones such as these skill plates and guaranteed ultimate straps were, is viable and would help push KPI's favorably, but not coupled with a 0 shard unlock chase that happens to be a brand new overpowered character. It would work much better with multiple older, but still meta relevant, characters as easier to unlock chases. With the right frequency, I believe that would ultimately help the economy and allow players to better develop their rosters. After all, what's the point of making characters if nobody gets to use them? It also has the added benefit of slowing your release cadence a bit, allowing moire time to increase quality. Food for thought.
