I get that making The Rock the opponent for the Kama tour makes sense - Nation link and all that - But why the BS trickster version? Unless you get lucky (or spend money) he's gonna wipe you out on first turn.

Even having bought the Pro Start Pack and maxing out Kama, Rock still pretty much wipes the floor with him. Kama is not well built at ALL. Here's why, expressed as calmly as possible so Scopely knows I'm being constructive:
Kama's build(s) just don't work. If a character has no submission, relatively high charge moves, and needs to use Juggernaut gems to really hit hard, they're kinda useless. By the time you can get the Juggernaut gems to go off, your opponent can be getting their moves off easily. Furthermore, Kama's big hits are contingent on him being able to use modified gems (i.e. Jugg and leech, or trap and silence). With no way to reduce MP and a relatively mediocre number of modified gems produced, any character with submission and/or board clearing capabilities is not only going to destroy Kama, but completely throw off any flow to his recycles. I don't want to say every character needs a submission somewhere, but it's pretty close to true at this point. That or they need to be extremely low charge with an easy way to turn 1 or 2 RELIABLY take down the foe. Kama is neither.
A fully maxed 4sb Kama struggled to beat HARD MODE Shamrock, who was 3sg and about 2k less talent. If you don't want the character to be that great, fine, but then don't fill the kickoff tour with so many hard counters.
I will slightly edit my Kama opinion in the sense that I see now how the trap gem build works, and it's the better option for sure. However, he's still by far the weakest free MLC character in months, and he's in an already weak era (Attitude). Attitude really needs more heavy hitters that aren't just MEM Rock, PH Steiner, and Shamrock.

Oh and while I'm at it, the Eras vs. Classes change to the challenge tours was not remotely an improvement. I don't know if Scopely thought that this would HELP people get more 6ss tokens (that's certainly what it sounded like), but they could not have been more mistaken. In many Eras, especially for women, there are a maximum of 2 characters worth moving to 6 stars. Class-wise, there are plenty of options.
The fact that Week 1 included a women's HOF when there's only 6 or so characters in the entire game that can be used for that (Nikki, Brie, Trish, Lita, Chyna, Wendi) and only two of them are even remotely viable at high levels of play (Chyna and Wendi), both of them are rare, and the rest of them are very much not good tells you everything you need to know. Eras are still extremely unbalanced, ESPECIALLY for women. I'm pretty sure the blog characterized this as a player positive change. It is not. Era requirement is way more restrictive than class, especially when discussing 6 star viability.

Kama is absolute trash and cannot hang with that version of Rock..make it the crappier sb version of the Rock and help us out

100% agree. I can't even do hell mode because my best HOF female is Brie and even at 6sb she just doesn't hit hard enough. I spent 20 minutes playing last night and only got my opponent down about 4 million health. By that point, I was already dangerously close to being below 3 stars so I just quit the match.

Kama is quite a weak character overall. I have absolutely NO DESIRE to level him up aside from the contest, and having to deal with TMEMIE Rock for his tour is horrible. Two matches in an I'm done with it. I believe a change of opponent is needed (NOD Faarooq?) and Kama needs to be reworked into having SOMETHING useful.
Edit: The Change from MEM Rock to The Great One Rock is a good change. It makes the tour bearable beyond turn 1

summer of domination prize wall how do i find this? i keep buying packs and have 295 tokens to redeem in the summer of domination prize wall but cannot find it anywhere, any help be grateful, cheers

Iam really disappointed in the change to weekly 6ss tokens tours. It's bad enough that they have to be 6sb, but now we to have a 6sb in ever era . I don't personally like the changes how are newer player going to keep up ! An alsoit is nice you reduce the price of the prizewall but it is still way over price . Thank you 😊

Since there is no thread for the weekly prime slime wrestling event I’ll leave it here. Had all the potential to be a great event but given how much the event relied on premium cards it turned it left a very sour taste for me. Suspect most players won’t hit top free milestone bar the premium players who pay to play. Disappointed. Hope this won’t be the standard going forward as it’s not enjoyable. Last months events were at least do able

Its nice that new players had an opportunity to get GB Cena.
The difficulty to win matches seems fine but the rewards are miniscule and the bouns is very hard more times then not unavailable to get as the required superstars are too rare.
The Ghostbusters event has been the worst midweek event in a long time. Possibly ever. All the bouns characters are severally pay walled. The event was a complete dud unless you were willing to pay 100s or 1000$ in loot coins for carnival odds at the 4 rare GhGhostbusters. Most players can't pay 1000s month after month.
Neither Kama or D lo Brown look good. People are saying Kama is the worst mlc since Roaddog. Sub par characters make the mlc boring and tedious
The rewards are getting fewer and fewer every month. This aspect of of the game is grossly out of balance. Rewards being given are miniscule possibly even decreaseing but the resources needed and required are increasing . Again this needs to be corrected as it makes you question why even bother to play.
So far, this has been the worst month in the last year or two. Maybe staff is on vacation and they are just recycling previous events. It seems like these rewards may have been good last year or 2 years ago in a 5sg meta but haven't been adjusted for 6ss. But they did increase to css requirements to super rare.
Overall a good month to skip. Scopley is up it its old tricks and scams this month. My advice is save your money and time, go do other things. Check back in September and see if its better or another month of telemarketing/pishing type scams.

In an already sub-par MLC, my biggest qualm was with the Ghostbuster event, ESPECIALLY the Faction Blitz event. You NEEDED 100x40 normal to max, As per the higher difficulties, even putting aside the BEYOND absurd requirements, you still needed 100/100. The points literally worked out to the same, it was just faster in hard and hell. It's the worst scoring system for a faction event Scopely has ever done. And you couldn't even spend for the difference. Because ONE ticket was $20. The faction as a whole would need to spend $800 PER missing faction member. And there was no wiggle room. None.
I missed out on the max free milestone for the event SOLELY because of the absurdity of that event.

I don’t know about free Kama, but the pro start pack Kama easily beats the rock turn one even in week 1. just place the traps in the top row, make those traps purple to load the finisher and after the finisher the rock is done.
i agree he is not the strongest free champ we had lately but he definitely can beat his tour , even more so if u have the pro starter pack.
On a different note tho, is the midweek event summer of champions meant to have no mlc Solo points at all? I would imagine that ppl can struggle to finish the mlc if midweeks have no points now either

There is no solo contest points for Summer of Champions. Midweek contests always have solo contest points crucial for maxing out the solo contest. How are we supposed to beat the solo contest if you take away the available points. This months contest has been a huge failure. The very weak Kama vs trickster Rock is such a slap in the face. I could care less about the new move features. The older characters it was added to barely makes them any less useless than they were already.

Yeah where are the solo points? Nothing midweek and weekend? Some communication would be great. Summer of domination has been ok so far, don’t let this mishap sink the whole event

Hoping that there will be a ton of solo MLC points this week. I've done every match I can, maxed every coin and tp event and I'm still over 150k from maxing the MLC. This would be the first one I haven't maxed in probably 6 months.

80,000 missed solo contest points because I didn't have the special character for the hell mode match.
20,000 missed solo contest points because faction blitz last week was limited in how many points individuals could get and this weeks event had none.
I'm currently 76,000 points from maxing the solo contest and unless you are going to give us a bunch this weekend, it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to max this month.
You want to know how to take the enjoyment out of a game? By having players log in everyday. Play every contest, max out every event and still come up short on the monthly contest.

You guys really need to stop with S tiers in the Champs tour of MLC event. C tier VIP hhh against an S tier most electrifying rock, come on man. No many people are going to be able to beat that. Why do you constantly insisting on making thinks so difficult, this is why players hate this game.

The MLC thus far has been overall a good one. However, I have a major complaint. I am so angry at the fact that the last contest of the month has absolutely zero MLC solo points. That is going to completely screw over countless people who were close. The last contest of the last MLC was chock full of solo points. I am not a big spender, so I can't use my web points towards getting solo points. I was within the last 2 milestones.
This last contest was hugely paywalled. There's nothing I can do about that. But seriously guys, you can't even throw dogs a bone with MLC solo points in the last contest? so very disappointed in that move.

There’s been a lot of negatives this month but some positives too. I just want to say that the amount of faction points you allowed us to earn In the final week should be the standard going forward. It’s nice for most factions to hit higher milestones than most only hitting 3 or 4 which for a faction around the 100 mark in leaderboard seems extremely low. If this is implemented going forward it will be a welcome to us all

My only feedback is potentially with blitz adding an additional ticket in victory tours for people to obtain. That way for each character you have you will get another chance at blitz along with the free ticket in store.

Horrible not enough solo mlc points this month seems only top 100 players and top 10 teams means anything shouldn't have to spend to max any and all contests its a game...horrible month
