Hey Champions,

With open Hawaiian shirts, outrageous facial hair, and trademark rubber bands hanging from his cheek, Captain Lou may not have looked like much of a success, but his record speaks for itself.

I know I'm not going to get him but how do you not love Lou Albano! Lol. That is awesome.

He needs a link to the Wild Samoans though...I mean, he was only their manager.

Why did you run a faction Fued at 2am European time? Could you change next time up the times a bit so thouse of us out side of America can compete please

I didn't enjoy how restrictive the feuds are.

I also don't understand what I've been paying $5 a week for to get full feud perks when they are free with a few minutes of play. I don't know that I'll be buying those weekend packs anymore.

The new perks are the new perks and it is what it is. It would be awesome to add +1 on a match.

    Glitches, Glitches, Glitches

It’s more of the same for a female feud. Game doesn’t update when you get a feud partner or a battle

Must constantly restart the app to get it to update and allow me into or out of the battle

Also when time runs out on a brawl I’m stuck in the brawl unless I restart the app

Some matches have connection issues…….. I don’t understand that one. I’m on 5g with full service on my phone. This issue causes Characters to get injured, Characters I need, so I use more health packs than normal because the game disconnects. It clearly isn’t my phone.

Lastly the issue that was fixed……… a 28 hour flash feud timer? I mean clearly a small issue that can be fixed quickly.

How is it always the 2nd feud that starts the major issues. Specifically the Female Feud every month. This isn’t an isolated event. This happens nearly EVERY flash feud. People in my faction Rage quitting from the issues mid brawl.

This needs some attention by dev team. We cannot keep having to work around these screw ups TO PLAY A GAME

  • This flash feud is awful unplayable for the females this needs to be some type of compensation for this. It's awful how much you all disrespect the females in the game. Give everyone free titan plate and several milestones for this awful game play in this feud

The feud has been filled with a lot of issues.

To start with the restrictions for putting a character in the feud to complete a row was pathetic and not fun at all

Must constantly restart the app to allow me into or out of the battle

Also when time runs out on a brawl I get stuck in the brawl unless I restart the app

The feud constantly kept showing network issues despite good connection which forced me to restart the game and lose a lot of health

The often imitated never duplicated feud superstar contest is unattainable unless you have all 16 characters. How do you expect anyone to score anything with a score of 5000 per match.

awful laggy server for two feuds in a row, I'm sure the last one will be no different. Terrible experience trying to do anything, having to force restart the game over and over because nothing updates properly. I'm sure there will be no compensation for this.

    Glitchy Feud.... again unfortunately.

It might be worth investigating, if the servers you use to run the data for feuds (or especially bossbattles), are capable handling the peek amounts of traffic, that events generate.

It "feels" alot like you are running at minimum capacity servers. (Which is fine for avg. daily play where activity is spread out equally). But once more players send traffic to the servers simultaiously, it just buckles under the presure?

If you are renting serverspace globally for the game, considder upgrading it, so you dont lose your customerbase?

  • This feud had glitches, I had trouble selecting opponents.

First I like to say I like earning free Feud boost steps I'm not a big spender this something I like.

Second the superstar competition winning feud battles with using any cards with multiple characters is good. I want more of that at least 2 out of 4 feuds , if that's reasonable . Grinding to get extra solo points for your solo milestone.

Third The limited tours were fair each day were free cards to get the bonus rewards . Good job with that!

Overall I want see rare plates that most don't have, metal bits and skill plate chips

  • DearYou

Every time I don't think these events could get any worse, this weekend happens. Oh boy.

Maybe my opinion is slightly skewed comin from the angle of a player who just basically sat out this week because I don't have the money to ball out chasing Hogan and all that jazz. I mean I don't mind, and I know it's a Hogan event, it's costly. But it was just sort of watching the game from the sidelines seeing how much and often this game massively paywalls any sort of progress. Whatever.

So again, we have a flash feud weekend with a card that is way more difficult to get than it should be.

    ::Good things::

    - Free steps. This is always good, although not without a little frustration, but that'll be in the negatives. I was able to top 20 warscore with free steps and my promoters, missing almost every line bonus, and not even playing very hard. So that's cool.

    - Tour requirements IMO were VERY fair and easy. It's always nice when that little bit of the weekend is a breeze.

    - Superstar Competition is back. That being sad, this subevent idea coming back is just about the only highlight of this mess.

    ::Negatives::

    - Hey, you remember those free steps? Uh.....so WHY are we being sold these weekly packages so you can sell us steps that we're gonna get for free? Sure, $5 isn't the craziest amount in the world, but it's the principle of why charge people for things that we're just going to get for free? It's a weird nice gesture to make them freely accessible, but a slap in the face to your paying customers a little bit.

    - Feud lobbies back to being a nightmare. So many times trying to refresh and reload the feud screen to try and see if you're in a match. So many times having to close the game after your partner finishes after you and the game just.....sits there. Just everything on that end was super clunky just like last month. Frustrating.

    - Superstar Competion. Bruh. Still a nice idea, but I think you all MASSIVELY overcorrected the curve on this. Maybe we're all just dumb, but the blog certainly kinda read like the CSS requirements of Legends/Acro/GB/DX would progressively open up and stack, just like historically when feud events have talent up tasks that start at a certain time, you can always do your talent up later to double dip. But not here. When you're looking at 5 thousand a match compared to missing one of the other characters that offer you a quick one MILLION, that's not reasonable to make up on any level IMO. I mean I get it, you turned this into a wallet/roster check and it is what it is, but I tried my best to see what I could grind over the weekend. 1. One. Milestone. Which only put me a cool five million from maxing. It's just frustrating. I saw many other players who only had maybe somewhere in the range of 5-8 characters and they didn't even bother. I don't particularly blame them.

    - Warscore rewards. How do these keep managing to get worse and worse? I obviously know that the point rewards for flash are always scaled down to the 20 hour marathon feud but 500k? Seriously? Someone can potentially spend the whole weekend feuding and get the points of about 2 megas? That's it? Cool.

Overall, just a dreadful event. I've always made my little posts about missing getting the card from warscore leaderboards and I mean deep down I know that ship has sailed. But the rewards for these events just keep getting worse and worse. You can max one of these contest and still be hundreds of shards off the new card. Maybe I've just been feeling out of it with this game coming off a two week spendfest for the Ghostbusters, but flash feud is just increasingly becoming an afterthought. Just get your 40 and move on. The devs obviously don't want to really incentivize people to play the game much more that. You simply hate to see it. This weekend was like a 3/10.

Well, we can always try again next month.

    xoxo,

    Dear You

For this weekend, I really just feuded when I can and forget this weekend. I’m hoping the the Thanksgiving event and Black Friday deals are much better than the flash feud this weekend.

The only good thing I seen this weekend is the tours. They are quick and easy especially if you got the CSS.

Where to start for the flash feuds? Well first thing, after hearing it from people watching Guersan’s twitch live on the faction’s server and seeing the blog later is the bonus character competition where the whole solo event was an unbeatable grind. 5k points per different era and the Legend Era not counting for the first two hours of the flash feud was a huge debacle. So much of the solo points were behind that, it made my decision to take it easy a whole lot easier. Maybe increasing the points per win or bring more different bonus characters for each flash feuds would help this a great deal.

The glitches during the flash feuds needs to be fixed. I should not have to keep restarting the app each time I enter a brawl. It’s very irritating and made me spend less time feuding. I also believe when the fixes are done, the speed perk that I enjoy in tours and SD needs to be introduced in feuds.

Lastly, the prizewall needs a revamp and items like shards needs to be cheaper. I find myself just getting coins, tp and T5 medals. It’s a huge deterrent for me to try harder in feuds to reach milestones outside of faction points. It’s deflating.

This is the absolute worst event weekend I seen in the game in a very long time. It really makes me question about the outlook of this game, outside of friends I met in this game, it feels like time spent in this game is getting lesser by the day.

It's really getting harder to find anything constructive to mention as past weekend's event was the pile of crap no player should experience anymore on mobile gaming...

Feud was totally broken. Scores did not count correctly, connection errors all the time (not only at the start of each flash feud), on top of these there were some new issues we had to endure, like being in feud lobby with another faction member waiting to get a match up loaded only to find out that the match up is already loaded but game did not changed from lobby to match up screen. Workaround this time, either close the game completely, reboot and get into match up, or just return to home screen and enter feud section to get the match up. WTH? I was about to accomplish League 19's 800 feud battles but was not able to...

Additionally a new daily login / reward system was introduced and quickly removed. I have no problem with this but it shows me that Scopely's programming / coding division is far from well organized. I mean, performance issues like last feud should not be a big topic anymore (and I'm not talking about some hours of server delays... we are talking about 2 full days of crap!) and new modes / features should be tested thoroughly before getting implemented. (yes, I know, some things have to get patched afterwards, but the sheer amount of lags, errors, overall issues WWE Champions is providing is almost one of its kind).

Feedback for Lou Albano Flash Fued

    Positives

    • Lou Albano, he was completely out of the blue for me as I have no idea whatsoever of who the guy is but nice to see some one new added. Seems like an OK character and not over the moon type of character I need to rush to add to my roster.
    • The fued was fine and I was able to get the 40m warscore at my own leisurely pace by just spending more time on 2 Fueds out of 4, which allowed me to use the other time to carry on with my weekend and not have to spend time grinding away...
    • The solo tours are fine and the CSS requirements weren't heavily paywalled with rare requirements.

    Negatives

    • I can't remember the last time I wasn't liking flash fued but this has to be one of them. The fueding part was fine with match-ups and game play but man was the whole thing so glitchy such as characters losing health and having to do multiple re-starts, when you join the queue you couldn't tell if you were or not as there seems to be some visual issue but when you exit out and come back to fued, you were already thrown into the game...
    • Speaking of grind, the other aspect you added with the play with XYZ character to get points, seems like a heavy chore I think the numbers need to heavily reduce to allow more interest otherwise most seem content with just maxing warscore and foregoing the other grindy event.
    • The fued line ups weren't really the best, seemed less than mediocre considering with the perks being de-buffed one would expect the fued line up buffs should atleast be substantially better.
    • Prizewall is starting to get worse and worse every weekend from SD scrimmage to now this... One would think a prizewall is another opportunity to get a bunch of meaningful prizes but yet we're relegated to only choose one set of shards or get a bunch of smaller items instead. Prizewall really needs a proper revamp and made more useful. At the end of this, I can only choose from Acro Dragon shards... nothing else was within reach.
    • There were mentions of points not counting so don't know what's going on there and no addressing of the issue whatsoever, hoping this was all resolved over the weekend.

All in all, wasn't too heavily invested in both this character and this event due to all the issues and glitches so didn't really care about most parts other than doing my 1% for my faction and getting the 40m warscore.

I'd like to address this forum feedback that your obviously getting many of your regular players to take their valuable time every week to address the issues and concerns around the game. I'm keen to know or understand how you're using our feedback to the community's best interest other than the obvious, giving away of a free gold poster of the new character. In my opinion, I'd like to see:

    • A summary list (bullet point it if it makes it easier) from a Scopely representative acknowledging our feedback and addressing our listed concerns we've shared back to us at the end of every post, so WE know you've in fact been reading our feedback we're posting here and it's not us just typing out paragraphs after paragraphs only for this to not get any notice other than, thank you for your feedback and congrats to the lucky winner.
    • You could even share what's in the works that could address some of the issue we're facing so it keeps your community engaged and we know that you're listening.
    • Let the community know if some of the ideas we shared is something that can be implemented or if there are any other alternatives?

This whole month felt meh to me so hopefully the last Faction Boss event could turn this whole month around. Also, still don't get why this was called Legends Theme when the Chase is a Modern and the free card is a RA era...

Oh yeah, THAT would be nice - to really get a feedback / more insights of what is really going on / how big S is handling the community's feedback other than the usual "devs are looking into it" replies from our dear mods. But, honestly, don't expect anything in this direction to be rolled out. Since they introduced the Forum there've always been this kinda answers provided which bothers me a lot on your given reason (taking the community's feedback seriously and not only treating us like cash cows). And we shall not forget that the mods are just players, too, who won't get involved what'll happen at Big S behind closed doors.

The other point you've mentioned, MLC is meh, yeah... I wrote this in this month's MLC thread, already, I totally get it when reward milestones get increased (see Coin and TP events) but this month did not yet pay out my investment of time (and some Euros) when comparing to the last 2 to 3 months (again, just by comparing Coin and TP). Overall I'm having a minus of about 20% to 40%, so, yes, being quite sucker punched lately.

I think this feud was a step backwards in some ways.

I still like the addition of the superstar contest but taking away a reasonable way to grind the event wasn’t great. Also in feud number 3 having all but one css be extremely paywalled isn’t much fun for most of the community. Not saying they all need to be accessible easily. Just a little more spread out.

the Friday step package that got the steps for “free”- as I like that you can earn the steps in game now it seems like an unethical business decision to sell the package for the first 3 weeks stating you’ll get the steps for free.

the war score competition just seems just so bland now. The leaderboard rewards in this one were in my opinion terrible. I liked them before where that competition allowed players to grind the feuds for the new cards, not this points for the solo contests. I also think the contest could use some of those stretch bonus milestones to make the contests more interesting.

as the game keeps progressing and the need for more resources is becoming more apparent. The loot boxes from matches I think need to be addressed. Tie it to your league system

  • Reiver8675309
    Reiver8675309 Member ✭✭✭

    Positives

    • A few more options in the prizewall for people who only got a modest amount of medallions.
    • Feud steps being free - I'm a little annoyed since I paid for the weekly pack but will take my boss breaker coins next week and deal with it - ultimately the feud steps being free is a welcome offering to players.
    • Tour requirements were not too insane.
    • Made a little bit of roster progress. Not super significant, but some progress.

    Negatives

    • Fewer people maxed the contest superstar sub-contest than will receive the Captain Lou card in the solo contest today. That is a negative to me, but it might not to be to the developers. When I gave my feedback on the sub-contest two weeks ago I expressed how I felt it was a great start on offering an event that would bridge the gap between 40 million warscore and the kind of warscore it takes to top the leaderboards. There has been an, in my opinion, overcorrection where now the only players that will max this sub-contest are the same players that are near or at the top of the leaderboard. That is not what I was hoping this contest would become, but if that's the way it's going to be, whatever. I don't have the energy to fight for something different anymore. I was really hoping that the 6-star bronze tokens would be achievable in this contest, but with 14 million as the first milestone where you could get one random token, it wasn't meant to be.
    • And when it comes to the contest superstars themselves, what do you want me to do? In the last 10 months I can count on one hand (and not even a full hand) the number of positive loot experiences I've had. I'm not spinning the loot for these characters that in a lot of cases I often can't even get shards for. It's either all or nothing. So I just sit and stew and then I come here to tell you how disappointed I am. The cycle rarely breaks.
    • The feud lines were incredibly tight, particularly the Ghostbusters feud. Would prefer a few more spots that are not necessarily wide-open, but a little bit more broad.
    • I understand that Acro Dragon is a rare poster but have to be honest that it was disappointing to see him in the warscore rewards when I was hoping for someone in the rotation of recent characters that I'm currently sitting at 1500-1600 ish shards of on a 2K unlock. I think I'd feel the same way even if I didn't have Acro Dragon unlocked on my roster. There is arguably a better acro legend in the game that I got for free last week.
    • Feud performance after the first feud was abysmal. Most players I spoke to had to at least back out to the home screen and go back in to make sure they could get in and out of feuds. Laggy. And the 1x match speed doesn't help.
    • The blog implied that the contest superstar bonuses for "Any X" would stack as the event went on. Instead, they were specifically available for each feud, which maximized the amount of grind necessary to make up ground for not having contest superstars. I understand that the blog is subject to change, but it doesn't change my disappointment. It has been posited to the community in the past "Would you rather have accurate information late or potentially-inaccurate information early?" and the more times "subject to change" happens, the more I'd rather just have the accurate information late. The only alternative is to ignore the blog, which means to ignore WWE Champions' presence on Twitch. Is that the desired goal here? Because if you want to turn off players and make them disengaged with the game, keep putting out events like this.

    Thanks.

    Positives:

    - LIMITED TOUR requirements was good so many players can play the tour

    - Prize wall having options to buy even for moderate prize wall holders unlike last showdown event

    - Free steps are good

    Negatives :

    - Feud solo superstar contest is insane, maxing is very hard. Even for grinding its way too less points for a match but way too high to reach each milestone

    - Feud was laggy from second flash feud

    - Feud solo score rewards can be enhanced a little more

  • Another solid contest with very easily achievable milestones.

Positives: Great milestone points in tours,Shop and through the milestone events. Faction Feud grind contest is a great idea.

Negatives: The past couple faction feuds have had issues with the feud not starting or ending unless you close the game and restart it.

The female feuds are becoming not fun as they’re either too restrictive with the characters needed or their isn’t enough female dedicated feuds.

There needs to be different tokens offered in the warscore event besides 6s HOF tokens. The disparity between great HOF characters and decent ones is causing the player base to either hoard 6s tokens or not use them at all.

Things I would like to see either added for free/through a contest or offered for a reasonable price. I would Like a Players choice event for the holidays that allows players to chose 1 character from each tier for free and a chance for them to choose a 1 plate. I think it would even out the competitive balance of the game. Allow players to choose any C and B tier they like. Make A and S tier players a random choice of 5. I believe it would offer fairness and revive the game as a whole heading into WM season

  • Zenshi
    Zenshi Member ✭✭

Contests: The contest where you got points for using certain Superstars was a complete waste of time. Either you had them or you didn't, there was no way you could grind the missing points otherwise. 200 Matches for 1 Million points (per milestone), ridiculous especially with the technical issues with feud. Should fix technical difficulties before offering a nearly impossible "grind" contest.

Technicals: First feud went great... second, third, fourth - terrible. Had to exit game and re-enter to become updated. Time Travel still is an issue, makes the competition ground unfair. If it's going to be allowed, send a in-game message out to everyone and allow them to use it without the fear of getting banned. Even playing field please.

Tours - enjoyable - not too difficult and had options for both F2P and P2P players to participate.

Rewards - lack of MLC points. I feel that the game is moving into the direction where F2P can not compete at all. If we can't max the MLC from dedicating hours to completing all the "free" content, we will eventually stop playing because we won't be able to compete with the 6S trend.

As if you all read each comment. Another top grade superstar going to people who spend lots more than me lol

  • Feuds - feuds were fine, but could have used more/better loots to spend for the better characters

Solo event - points felt fine in terms of earning them

Faction event - the milestone and leaderboard rewards need a drastic overhaul on faction boss weekend. There's little incentive for top factions to push for them.

Superstar event - I still don't like it that much considering it's a major grind for not a lot of rewards

Warscore event - never change this, please

Tours - tours were great and had dependable points + shards

  • I think this event was ok overall, but a few things that could have definitely be changed.

Some of the feud requirements were a bit much. Needing two Ghostbusters for example when we know that 99% of the community only had Cena. The open slots are always helpful, but for me that just means I end up using the same 3-5 people in all feuds. I would like to see a little more restrictive, without being overly specific. SO maybe a showboat slot, striker slot, etc etc.

The faction event wasn't/hasn't been very good. The rewards are almost useless at this point, and the leaderboard rewards don't even qualify as rewards IMO. That goes for both the actual feuds, as well as the faction comp.

The superstar event feeding into the solo event is terrible for the vast majority of the player base. I get the fact that people who have spent and received the loot superstars in the past get the benefit from using them for point, but it pretty much ensures that anyone who is not a huge spender or willing to feud for each and every minute of the comp (for warscore leaderboards) doesnt have a chance at the card via solo leaderboard. It just feels imbalanced at the moment. I like the idea of the superstar comp, it should just have less "rare" cards as the bonus superstar.

Lou shards seemed pretty decent to come by, I got 1600 and didn't spend anything in this competition which seemed like a pretty good amount. So that felt right in the way of tours and milestone rewards for the various solo competitions.

The prizewall was very underwhelming. It seems like each time this gets worse and I end up with useless prizewall currency because the available items are so highly priced. Nobody really need 10,000 shards of NWO Big Show when you are giving out 100,000 shards of various class/types each day this month, so those items seemed like a huge miss. I can't imagine anyone purchased a single one of those. The Lou shards would have been nice, but being so highly priced they only way to get them would have been to spend $500 or more, at which point the individual would have already recruited Capt Lou, so again that was probably a miss as far as the value/ROI.

Overall, I think it was a decent event for players who have spent moderately in the past or even had the time to grind out the feud warscore, but that may only be because there was less interest across the board to go crazy feuding.

  • DevilDozer

I enjoyed the different way you did the bonus superstars this event. I like that set up

  • I get problem usually when we have feuds! Sometimes I need to start the game several times, because the game is stuck in some kind of loop!! I'm already in the feud, but on my screen still looking for opponent! When my feud finished, didn't finished automatically, need to restart again!

  • amw2501

The tour was good. I felt the rewards were decent for the event.

The feud... Well I couldn't participate as much as I'd like as the system was glitchy aside from the very first feud. I wish I could have participated more because I had the requirements and really enjoy the feuds but I couldn't participate due to being constantly kicked off or not being able to see that I was put in a feud.

I was not impressed with the prize wall but I also didn't get much to spend on it. Even if I had there wasn't anything I was seeking.

Overall I think it was a decent event but could have been better with a fix in the technology system of the feud.
