HOF Booker Strap
I have a question. If HOF Booker T is no longer a character available to recruit in WWE Champions, why is his epic strap still being sold in the Showdown Shop? I mean, who does this item benefit? Newer players can't recruit him and older existing players who obtained him during his initial in-game release, should already have some sort of strap equipped on him by now. I am just curious if this means his poster will eventually return to the game or not. If not, it seems pointless to me to offer a strap for a character that no longer exists to recruit. 🤷🏾♂️

His poster will never be made available in the future no, it was pretty clearly indicated at the time he was a reward specific for that MLC only.
I'm sure some may still don't have the strap they want for him since it's RNG but otherwise the Showdown Store itself hasn't been updated in ages either, it was suggested many time and the team is aware about it, same thing for getting rid of 1s and 2s tokens from it that you can't really use anymore. It's on their "to-do" list.

Hey, thanks for responding, I hope I didn't come across as a jerk or anything. I was genuinely curious. I do agree that the Showdown Shop could use a bit of a refresh as there are some straps and posters featured that are, to a degree, pointless to continue being offered. Especially in today's meta. I hope that the Scopely Dev Team will eventually get around to shaking things up in the Showdown Shop. I use it every day after reset to collect TP, rare tokens and star fragments.

It must be my lucky day to have two Mods respond to my post. I completely agree with what Ramsay said but personally speaking, I wouldn't buy this particular strap to sell for strap parts. Especially given the cost to purchase this item from the Showdown Shop (in terms of Showdown coins). The straps from MLC milestone rewards and other contests such as Faction Feud, Gauntlet Blitz as well as any of the other in-game shops offer straps that use currency not as rare as Showdown coins. Also, big shout out to all of the Mods on the Community Forum taking their time to answer questions from nerds like me, I really appreciate all of you.

I also think that is a dumb choice, every single other mlc character has been made available either buy pulls or from bags but they made one rule for hof booker cause he was the first hof mlc and it hurts a lot of players, from the players who couldn't get him on release or newer players that are just joining the game. It's a virtual object, It's not the reserved list in mtg where they won't reprint anything on it cause it makes the value go down of the cards. If anything they would make more money from it. I just don't think making a single card one and done is dumb in a game like this when every other mlc unit is brought back.

Regardless, they just can't offer him again, it was very specifically mentioned during that mlc that he would never be made available in the future in any way, they can't go back on that. Also it should'nt hurt players in the long run more than HOF Sting for blue that isnt available anymore, and I think HOF lita for red isnt either so that's no different.
They have just started to release better coaches than those HOF with dominik and Rey adding up to 3 gems as opposed to the HOF adding 2 and I'm sure the other colors are right around the corner

I think lita hof was in one of the recent ruby markets at least her shards were. I understand why sting won't be back, sucks I am 100 shards from recruiting him but I understand. They shouldn't have a problem with lita though but who knows.
