Multiple issues and potential solutions

Hello folks,
Now for the first time after a long time there is again movement in the forum and maybe the right time to, sometimes again, address things that go wrong in the game. No, we are not little the big rest has given up! Part of it has gone from high donor to F2P, because it is always according to support and also here are isolated cases.
In short, I played my first games that had an online connection already in 2001, I saw many games coming and going, got to know good and bad support, found good and bad communities and got to know developers who are seriously dealing with the gamers or developers who have bluntly worked past the players / customers. So I have some experience in assessing things.
This post was created in collaboration with several players from different teams (German, European) and reflects our experience, but we also tried to find suggestions and solutions. We know that not everything will be implemented and some proposals would take not just a few days to be implemented, but weeks and months. But we like this game, sometimes spending several hundred euros a month and don’t want another game to be thrown into the wall because it’s only developed for a small elitist circle.
Me and 95% of the other players are aware that the game has to make money, it has to cover costs: servers, programmers, license fees, support staff and so on. We are also aware that there must be a difference between paying players, i. e. customers, and F2P players. That is why I will, in the course of the debate, go a little further on the costs.
To increase it in advance, out of 300 people only 20 to 30 report errors at all, because they are not taken seriously by the support team.
Here’s how we start:
Boss Fights:
- During the boss fights the game freezes, you can’t make moves or make moves, you can only wait until the fight is over.
- It often happens that the fight is simply terminated by the server and all participants end up back in the lobby.
- It often happens that at the start of the fight you just get stuck in the lobby without being able to take part in the fight and the other participants then compete only in three or even in twos, in the lower levels (up to 5/6) certainly not a problem, then it becomes problematic.
Approaches to the solution:
- Since ending the fight by the servers seems to be triggered just before they collapse, this should be done automatically at full hour. To do this, insert a visible timer that shows when the next reset is, then players can decide for themselves whether to start a fight or prefer to wait a few minutes. How do I get the idea that it has to do with the load of the servers when the fight is over for everyone? Quite simply, the first 10 to 20 minutes after everyone has fallen out of the fight, the game runs much smoother.
Event announcement:
Many of the players go to work, are dependent on being able to plan events, many players have families and want to be able to plan their weekend, also the teams in the game want and need to be able to plan the events. Because believe it or not, there are players who can’t play 24 hours a day.
Here I draw a comparison to the 5 other games I currently play and which are also structured like Champions. These five developer studios are all smaller than Scopley, but they manage to advertise all events to players in a friendly way. It works as follows:
One week before the end of the event, even there the events usually run one month, the new event is announced. With all relevant dates for mini-events, the main content and main purpose of the monthly event, as well as requirements and habit. So everyone knows in time, even there it comes due to suggestions from the community times to changes, but since there is a week time, everyone can adjust to it, in addition changes are also sent by in-game message.
As a suggestion for the next MLC:
Announcement no later than 25. 07. 2022
with all dates and requirements and rewards for Kick Off Event, SD Events, Feuds (including Flash Feuds and their time), Bossfight Event and Blitz Events.

Feud:
There’s always been the red ring, it’s always made feuds unplayable at certain times. It’s also not device or connection dependent, so too many players with different smartphones (different operating systems) and different internet connections have the same problem at the same time. The red ring usually occurs during daytime in the USA. Then, at least it seems, the rest of the world is affected by the problem, sometimes it’s so bad that you spend more time waiting than fighting. The “funny” thing about it is that the rest of the game is not affected by it, outside the Fehden Arena everything runs smoothly. So it is obvious that it is due to the connection to the servers used in the feud. Because I repeat, when the red ring appears, it occurs, at least in my team, in 99% of the players at the same time and no, we don’t all have the same broadband connection and no, we don’t all have the same smartphones. Yes I admit in the last 1. 5 years there has been a small improvement, so it is being worked on, unfortunately apparently not enough because it does not hit the main market of the game.
In Flash Fehden there is always a feud that brings more points than the other three, here should be a monthly change. So not only North America always has this advantage, while the rest of the world has to sleep. Say in the first month the first FF scores more points, in the second month the second FF and so on.
This should be quite easy to implement and would significantly improve the fairness of the game.
Faction Heal Packages:
It still happens that the timer to get a new Faction Heal does not work properly, if you have bad luck you get a new Heal only after several days, when this problem first appeared you could still fix it by buying a bag in the team shop and so got a new Heal, then the timer ran properly again, after working on it, this bed works Unfortunately, no more. Very annoying.
Communication to the player / customer
Here you can actually only talk about the fact that this does not take place! If the Kick Off Tour is changed like last time, there is no information in advance, the customers are shown that everything is the same as before, 99% of the customers buy the package and then realize that the monthly star is now required to 5 stars in Hell mode. There are countries in the world where such behaviour is even relevant under criminal law. Keyword fraud / fraudulent deception.
Of course, if the costs for coins and TP events are increased, no information is provided in advance.
This could be continued indefinitely, information about changes only comes when it comes to the customers putting even more money into the game. . .
Support
I live in the world-renowned service desert of Germany and through my many years of experience in online gaming I have had enough experience, but how the support here deals with paying customers is very friendly. very bad! The support people are always friendly, is the only positive thing to say. Now we come to the things that are a no-go for paying customers! The waiting time as a paying customer is not acceptable, let's take a typical (flash) feud weekend as an example:
You buy something at the start of the event but you don't get credit for it, so you contact support. Send the screenshots of the invoice from the purchase right away in the first contact, then the hoping and waiting begins. If you're lucky, the ticket will be processed within the feud, but then often so late that the purchased stairs can only have half the effect. Either half of the feud is over or the first two Flash feuds are already over. So you paid full price for half the service. The support thinks, but then not along, instead of apologizing and sending a compensation right away, this should be dependent on the player level and the roster strength, the ticket is simply closed, leaving the paying customer frustrated. It gets even worse if the ticket is only processed after the feud, then you get the stairs after the feud and cannot use them at all, of course the ticket is closed immediately there too. Staying with the feud example, this applies to SD events as well. After the feud you don't get the reward, so you contact support, the ticket is processed, then you get the reward so far so good, but what's the point of the prize wall coins if the prize wall is gone from the shop? Absolutely nothing right, the players and/or customers then of course feel fooled again. A solution would be here, the system checks in the background whether the price wall coins can still be used, if this is not the case, they are replaced by coins, TP or MLC coins depending on the player level and roster strength. No customer and/or player remains frustrated.
further solutions:
If you contact support via the ingame option, the following is automatically sent when you create a ticket:
Operating system, subscription customer status, roster strength, player level and vip level. When creating the ticket, insert a drop-down menu to be able to provide more detailed information: -Reward not received - Bug found - Purchase not received. .
Support employees no longer close tickets automatically, because once the ticket is closed, the communication that took place before apparently disappears, because you have to describe your problem again. Instead, a question is introduced “ Problem fixed? Yes No? If the customer/player does not respond within 24 hours, the ticket is considered closed and can be closed and deleted from the system.
Why am I referring to player and roster level a lot here? For small accounts, 25 TP or 25 healing packages is certainly a lot, but it doesn't bring anything to a large account.

(Missing) coaches
Over time, some stars have disappeared from the game - new players and therefore potential customers can no longer receive them. This could be counteracted without much effort by giving the free MLC star this trainer ability, all trainers that were removed from the game are replaced with equivalent values and you return to the current system. Another option would be to send the removed trainers once to all players as a 2 star Bronze Star. This means that those who do not have the trainer would have no disadvantages and those who have the star would have no advantage, since the TP that then exist has no effect in 99.99%.
SD / Team Shop update
An adjustment is needed here again, the available TP and Coin packages are no longer up to date for a large proportion of players / customers.
Solution approach:
Again, the packages available should be adjusted based on player level and roster strength at the same cost. As an example for the SD shop, the 25 TP packages for players who are in league 18 will be increased from 25 TP to 200 TP with the same SD coin bet, for players in league 17 there will be 150 TP instead of 25 TP..
Costs:
As mentioned at the beginning, we know that certain costs have to be covered, we also know that profits have to be made. Damn it, no one has a problem with that. In the meantime, however, there is no longer a chance to play this game seriously without putting hundreds of euros into the game every six months or playing 23 out of 24 hours a day. As an example: my wife puts around 200 euros a month into the game, I've put around 800 euros so far, is there a difference? NO! Think about it!
Conclusion:
Due to certain mistakes in the past, players were made unnecessarily strong, since events, tours and so on are announced too late or not at all (current SD event = no information), users cannot be prosecuted for mistakes. It also puts unnecessary stress on the mods and developers. The last weekend also showed that there is no will to seriously fix errors! If events were properly announced, the beneficiaries could have been punished, Star gone > TP and coins gone that were invested. But since tours, Blitz and so on are only announced shortly before, something had to be thought up where everyone is supposedly given a chance. Sorry, you know yourself… . .
The support needs to be revised, if you buy something and then can't use it, or only half, paid is paid, here the service has to be rendered! If this is no longer possible, an equivalent replacement must be created!
It doesn't need 4 or 5 stars per month! Instead of copy and paste with the stars, you'd better take care of known problems, take care of a balance in the game. There is only a very small group that can use it at all. Only makes 3 stars, but not just listlessly brought into play but developed. Starts with balance and ends with little things like the link icon. Take care of a permanently stable server, admit mistakes (on all channels: ingame, forum, Twitter and Co.)
PS: The gap between F2P, normal financiers, 500 euros per month and the people who spend even more can no longer be closed, so don't harm yourself by listening to a small circle. There is no compensation if loser stars have to be processed at every event, the big players don't notice it and the normal donors don't get it done in the long run, the F2P not at all and potential new customers certainly not.

Thank you, SWATDD, for putting together our faction family's ideas and posting them here.
In general one major update would fix a lot of the topics related to resources earned and items offered in shops, and good SWATDD has already mentioned it; make the player's account level / league more relevant in game. If Big S can put in league based boundaries (such as min. league to participate events etc.) than it should also work the other way around.
The player's league should be taken into consideration on ALL modes (SD, tours, stipulation etc.) and all shops. Imho it would increase the items we can collect and nobody can complain about.
ie - league 7 player gets 1,000 coins / 5 TP / 100 medal shards out of a loot box etc then give a league 17 player 10,000 coins / 50 TP / 1,000 medal shards etc. (could also be in effect for the 3rd / golden loot box, only)
