Kickout moves for subs.

I didn't know where to post this and didn't see anything about when searching for it. My question is about kickout moves I know you can't kickout when in danger but I didn't know you could use the move to kickout of a sub. Is this intended? If I known that I would have used more kickout moves lol.

This shouldn’t be intended as the 1st sub turn would reduce the MP of the kick out move. Do you have an example of when this is happening?

This can happen when a plate is equipped that gives mp on a match and getting one or more wildcards during the sub to prevent it ticking down mp after the match fills the move.

Yes that is what happened to me, against liv and apa jbl with plates that give mp. Because liv and trick rey says kickout of pin, I didn't know if that was how the move was intended. You don't even need a wildcard apa jbl just broke a normal 3 break gained the mp and used the move to kickout.

I asked once and didn't really get an answer on it. My assumption is it's not intended but they'll let it slide

Subs should nullify the skill plates. Getting mp charges while you're in a submission sort of defeats the purpose of the sub.

I would go so far as to say that those specific plates shouldn't work during pins or subs. It's kinda frustrating to plan your moves based on the opponent's MP only to have them get a lucky cascade to add +3 MP or even possibly +6 MP during a pin or a sub.

When you have that, ALSO while giving kickout bonuses, and gem damage bonuses, you get someone who kicks out, and now they may have all of their moves charged. It always seem so happen to me during feud when someone kicks out from a huge damage pin.
