My experience with this game lately has been terrible. Every event has been a copy and paste of all the older events. Same rewards just different superstars. These days you have to p2w to get anywhere, where back when the game was actually more enjoyable where you can grind to max any event.

Rewards is as lack lustered as always. Same low amount of resources, unless you spend money to get the better rewards. For people who enjoys playing f2p it hard for them to do anything, since everything seems to be based on how big someone's wallet is.

Stuff that you guys really should improve is better rewards, better events, reworked superstars, webcoins and especially more f2p events. Rewards needs to be drastically improved because with the rewards you guys give out it gets to a point where someone has to p2w to get the tokens. coins, or even talent points. Every event is just a copy and paste of the last. It gets boring because it's like you guys don't have any creative minds in the team. Maybe different type of events for the monthly like faction brawls, just like feuds but the whole month, throughout the month there are more faction based events. Instead of any kind of solo events, make everything team based.

One thing I hate more then anything is the constant release of new superstars. I believe that sometimes instead of releasing new superstars, maybe reskin or redo moves of the older superstars to make them more useful to people. So people in the game can't spend money so if you work on superstars that a everyone has, maybe more players would be interested in playing more.

Webcoins was something you guys did for a month, but after that month it seemed that you guys decided that you don't care about f2p players. You took their opportunity to get some nice resources and superstars to beef their roster. Instead of doing a great cause, you just harm a lot of players that was enjoying doing something to help themselves. Making it 2 energy a day, was a terrible idea. Should've either increase the prices of energy packs, or increase the prices as the items. But instead yall increased the prices and made webcoins p2w to obtain.

More focus on events being less p2w and more f2p could help a lot of people in need. Make events grindable like the good ole' times. Now all events you need to spend hundreds of dollars to even max an event. And some people can't do that. Yes I know you guys need money for bills and stuff, but make 2 events, on for people to grind, and other for people to spend to max.

  • The best superstar of all time i love and i loved the making of him this time wild and beautiful i want him any how i will try my best in this contest to get him

  • So the three of a kind mankind challenge with the challenge at 24900 for the mankind how's anybody going to have a chance to win that when you just put it up normally you would have normal hard and he'll and now you're just starting it off at Hell going all the way through how's anybody supposed to when or you have a chance to win that unless they've been playing forever or spend hundreds of dollars on the game

This contest just proves yall don't care about your community any more and just care about making money. 5 star gold opponent on normal? Serisouly? You put any worth while rewards so far behind a pay wall its not even funny. And when someone does dish out money for the loot, you give % for hitting a certain teir but there is clearly a % on which thing you get on that teir, or you wouldn't hit 3 or 4 of the same superstar over and over but yall will never admit that. This game keeps going further and further down hill. So pissed I ever spent money on it.

Decent enough event except for the challenge against the new Foley even on easy he's over 20,000 that's just ridiculous. Easy is supposed to be at least a little easy not a massacre. I would also like to say o love how the showdown bonus points are set up and have a wide variety of superstars to choose from more events need to have more variety with obtaining bonus points.

For the challenge tour you should have done 5sb on normal, 5ss on hard and 5sg on hell. It is a bit excessive having all three modes at 5sg. On top of that not many people will be able to get the bonus points cause you essentially need a top mic Foley, undertaker or Shawn michaels at 5sg to beat which a lot of people don't have. It would have been better if you guys gave individual mankind solo contest bonus points for each mode (normal, hard, hell) and have to beat him with any version of those three characters. So like 50k at normal with a 5sb opponent, 75k at hard with a 5ss opponent and 100k at he'll with a 5sg opponent.

New month, same challenge. Having Shawn Michael in the Hell level seems insane. One turn and deals half a million in damage. Unless you luckily left with a killer board, you are done after a turn. seems excessive. And even if you can kick out, because his move are at 1, he feeds it all over again.

At least the first 2 levels are relatively easy and provide a chance to get some bonus points. I do like the idea of having people use some superstars that are pretty much forgotten about on the roseter.

Great event. Mick looks pretty good.Would love to have him.

Biggest complain is that the 3 face tour should have been easier , 5sg on normal doesn't make sense at all and that too an extremely loaded 5sg ...the normal mode should be 5sb at most. Also it's not a good move especially when you need to win with specific characters to get bonus points. Hope this won't be common thing going forward.

I think this event was great.

A nice mix of special cards to use, some f2p some more rare. I liked the 3 faces of Foley but do agree that having all 3 at 5SG is odd. Why not have them ramp up like other nodes?

I didn't have any technical issues, so that was a bonus.

The event itself was probably fine, but there was some stuff I had umbrage with.

    • At the time of writing, I'm not even 100k away from the last 'free' milestone, so I'm seriously beginning to wonder what the qualification of 'free' is because it seems like as long as you have MEM Rock, Tech Hogan, Mutant Doink, and are able to 100% all of the event - all of which you sure as hell can't get for free, far from it - you might as well go ahead and shave off 3-4 milestones (and at least half of the rewards) from the entire equation. Double this with the fact that about 450k is locked behind the faction contest (Again, no I will not join a sweatshop that will turn my Champions experience into a fulltime job just to get an extra milestone) really soured things for me.
    • Tours are actually doing things different so I can say something other than 'It's fine' - the Three of a Kind tour was interesting in a 'Oh this is what it's like to face this guy feud-ready' way, but I didn't find it particularly exciting and it seems like a great way to lock off 120 shards from 95% of players - it's basically impossible if you don't have the roster for it, and no big deal if you do. I was somehow able to do both Shawn's and Taker's requirements using IOW Shawn and HoF Taker (two guys who aren't necessarily ultra-rare) but as usual, requiring the Rock is basically "Have MEM Rock or go screw yourself", which isn't fun. It's never been fun. Also, the HoF Taker fight on the Hardcore Legend fight was far too overtuned for a tour fight and the bleed immunity was more of a display of malice rather than an interesting speed bump. To complete the tour trifecta, LMAO at making people fight 4SGs with Priest a week into the MLC.
    • Loot was bad, just awful. The whole 'Featured is all Foley' thing is dampened by the fact that the lowest (and as it happens most likely result) is a pathetic 50 shards, and the it's likely not the difference maker whether you got the poster or not. I did see people post some useful pulls of what are older characters at this point (Socko, APA Bradshaw, a single Trickster Bradshaw) but otherwise you might as well have lit that money on fire for as good as it was going do getting you closer to Mutant Mankind.
    • 12k medallions in the free portion, and likely fewer unless you did everything in this event (Solo AND faction, because of course my faction has to factor into my individual efforts) flawlessly. I guess that's good enough for some shards, but at some point those scrimmage showdown shards are going to have diminishing returns, and then it gets to be basically straps or whaling out for the plates, which are still way out of range for anyone but a whale.

I am going to be rather honest in my critisism towards this event, but i will not be negative in it, i will instead try and highlight problem areas that the next showdown contest could improve on.

The tours were decently rewarding, but the fight against undertaker had no clear reason to use a skill plate, the challenge tour was just unfair towards anybody without the means to tank or heal from foley's power gems from the medallion in the tour.

And there is alsk the problems i have with showdown itself, which all combine to make it nigh unplayable. 1: the match system is very flawed, by the time j make to 500 notoriety or so, i could very well still be getting opponents with 100 or less. 2: goals that almost can't be feasibly reached without the showdown promotors making the grind tolerable. And, the one that completely breaks the mode, 3: the lack of any kind of armor/shield to stop you from getting attacked nonstop, it's the ultimate insult on top of these other problems.

My solutions: rework the notoriety match system to make it fairer for everyone to climb equally, and not have to resort to revenge to climb the ladder, and adding some sort of shield system to protect players from being constantly attacked would go a long way to making this kind of event more fun to play through and max out. Please consisder this feedback for future showdown contests, thank you.

Feedback for Many Faces of Foley Scrimmage Showdown Event

    Positives

    • Think it was high time a new Foley got added to the game considering I still dont have Mr. Socko, it was a fun character that looks pretty good. Can't wait to try him out during Fued. At 1600 shard recruit and plenty available, this was a great SD event! Great work.
    • The format, structure and milestone of the event was great for me personally as I was able to get to milestone 12 with minimal spending and was able to shard recruit Foley. I'm not on the spend heavy side so didn't bother me if I couldn't get the Plate or max the solo contest.
    • The required characters for the SD itself was a good list of options and not very restricted to paywall characters. I didn't have MEM Rock, Mutant Doink or HOF Taker and other rare ones and was still able to get to milestone 12 of solo contest.
    • Solo Tours again, good choice of not restricting the required characters to paywalled ones even though all the bonuses points were just for Faction points, so it wouldn't have been a biggy as you could then choose to do TU instead to get your faction points.
    • Having the first time points of 30k is most welcomed as opposed to having us buy and do 1 ever day. This is something I prefer over the other.
    • I really like this scrimmage aspect as I mucked up last month's Scrimmage and was unable to acquire King Sheamus who I was chasing but the fact that this is recurring means, I am now able to shard recruit him.

    Negatives

    • I felt it was harsh when it comes to the challenge of only getting to choose between Taker, Rock and HBK. Granted I was able to do 2 out of 3 as I don't have a strong enough Rock to get it done and wouldn't count on wasting my time trying. For those who are new, they're probably going to miss out as Normal and Hard has Foley at 5SG. I think the better option would have been to have made Normal and Hard mode "Open" or "Attitude Era" atleast.
    • I personally had no issues with match-ups or getting constant attacks but I know others from my faction mentioned about it and being frustrated about it. Again it was probably only a small portion so hard to say if the match-making has been bugged again or not as I mentioned I have had no SD issues with matching up or being attacked constantly.
    • Additional Point added after going through the Scrimmage Prize wall: There seems to be a reduction in the number of shards compared to previous months. Would also be nice if more number of medallions were given out within the Free part considering how pricey the cost is.

Overall, I thought this was a great start to the MLC. The Scrimmage SD has now become a stable which allows us to utilise the scrimmage medallions to choose which superstar we're missing shards for. I still have a lot to try and shard recruit, so hope those don't get rotated out just yet.

I didnt mind the 5sg challenge tour, I think the reqs should have been more open, maybe even wide open, use any wrestler. I mean 5sg tricked out 24k is tough with anyone.

There needs to be more stuff to buy in the in game shops, the amounts needs to be increased. 1000 coins is nothing.

Make old wrestlers better, more viable. Gear maybe? or just remove them from pulls

  • csm555

Mostly ok event, similar to pervious months, but sometimes consistency is good. The challenge mode at normal and hard being 20k plus is crazy. I know it says challenge, so not supposed to be ready, but shouldn't be impossible without fully maxed 5sg characters that would take thousands of dollars to obtain...

Scrimmage continues to be one of, if not the best event of each MLC. It's cool that making progress in one scrimmage event is rewarded the following month, and so on.

    Mankind

    • Attainable with a modest amount of spending if you had most of the requirements, beat all the tours, and were in a strong faction. Even if you couldn't quite recruit him, the scrimmage format means that there's a good chance to get him next month. These kinds of events with a realistic shot at recruiting are great for players and keep us engaged in the game.

    Matchmaking

    • Something has gone horribly wrong here in recent weeks. The same names are showing up in opponent lists for every player in every faction on every server etc. It doesn't seem to matter what notoriety you're at, or how many refreshes you do, the same players just keep appearing over and over again. While scrimmage is a really good format, this issue is really damaging the balance of showdown events. (This continues to be the case in this week's tournament.)

    Challenge Tour

    • I know some players will have hated this tour because of the difficulty, but I loved it. Too often the game is mindless turn 1 wins, so having to think carefully about the right character, builds, straps and medals to win against a top tier opponent was a good change of pace. Maybe add the bonus rewards here to the bonus section of the event rewards to make this fairer for newer players who surely can't win these matches, especially with bonus characters.

    Prize Wall

    • Overall these prize walls are a major positive. Getting the previous months' releases relatively soon after their debut is great and can be done so with little or no spending. The skill plates do feel very heavily paywalled however and it's also notable that some showdown characters have been taken out of the prize wall. It's probably unrealistic to allow players to carry medallions from month to month, so how about an option to cash in some of the previous month's medallions for 1/2 of that amount of the next month's prize wall medallions? This way, players could gradually earn a skill plate after participating in a number of scrimmage events.

It would be nice for the events to have a fresher feel, rather than doing the same things over and over again.

    Another lackluster event.

Facing a maxed 5sg mankind in challenge mode was ridiculous. It just shows me how useless my roster is without one of the recent turn 1 superstars.

The tours provided the usual rewards that don't really help me advance my roster.

I also just quit showdown when I start getting matched against maxed 5sg which is disappointing since I don't even have a single 5sg due to lack of available 5sg tokens.

I've been playing this game since the beginning and I can barely hit the halfway point each weekend. Required superstar points should not count into the free milestones.

I'm not sure if the huge spending push is to make up for too many people quitting or simply taking advantage of players but a better balance once in a while would be nice. As it is now the rewards for grinding are no longer worth the time.

The bar is getting raised too high. There has to be value for people who can’t afford to pay a ton of money. I don’t mind spending money when I have a little extra but this actually prompted me to close my wallet. I don’t mind a challenge but the restrictions were too much

Mankind "Many Faces of Mick Foley" - Scrimmage Showdown  Contest Feedback

    The Character - The Plate

Ok I usually LOVE the way characters look. But I hate this one. Its messy, it doesn't make sense. Its not clear. The face looks different on the card and on the model. Not a fan looks wise.

In terms of gameplay I haven't really investigated what he does.

The Plate looks absolutely monstrous. Not looking forward to facing it.

    The Tours

I appreciate that the multiple tours were dropped at once. Gives you something to do when Showdown is jammed up. I don't know if it was jubilee holiday fever here in the UK or that it was the best weather so far this year, but I barely looked at them, my Priest is only 2SG so I could only go so far and all my Foleys are the weak starter characters. Socko shards would have been useful.

I tried once the super challenge 24k people. I was quickly beaten on normal and didnt look at it again. I don't have a Rock, Taker or HBK above 9k so had no chance of the big points.

    The SD Contest

I liked the mix of eras and colours. I did all 20 for HHH, Randy, Mankind and 60 Attitude era. I could do no more bonus wise and at the same time I hit my limit in showdown, I never got above 900 on night one. No matter what I was always beaten and dragged back. Then after the reset I was able to get their briefly, earned some bigger points and then was trapped with a full quota of points, but unable to move past 1000 score and so I stopped playing.

I noticed that I was playing the same names and teams again and again however.

It would be cool if there was a bonus for having a certain wrestler in your defence set up. Like using him gives you a boost for matches or a boost when the AI defends as you? And to keep it fair i would have that be a generally underused starter guy? Just an Idea.

Big fan of the scrimmage style rewards. King Sheamus hopefully sticks around though as i am still a couple 100 away from him. I got 8000 scrimmage tokens, enough for some Sheamus shards and little else.

I do wish there was a way to keep them from one month to another so that the bigger values would be more reachable. If you could maybe take any left over and have a mutate button in the store that takes in all of that currency and replaces it with the new one?

A fair contest, but not one I had huge stakes in.

I did enjoy the triple threat tours. Unfortunately I didn’t have any of the bonus characters high enough.

The showdown was par the course for regular showdown events.

Would’ve liked an opportunity to get more prize wall medallions without spending.

Shards were perfect since he’s a 1600 recruit and everyone doesn’t need to get the new superstar every weekend.

All in all, I enjoyed it.

I believe when it comes to reward in faction contest and rewards, it's very good. Appreciate the reward in the faction contest.

Now when it comes to solo it's unachievable and doesn't reach anywhere in solo contest. We don't have points for solo contest in tour and the points given in portal and backstage gift it's very low. Similar way in showdown also points too low. How to get anywhere in solo contest.

Don't appreciate anything with regards to increase in TP and coins event.

Event was good, showdown scrimmage felt balanced better so you could earn points with a characters that most players would have and have been in previous events so most will have levelled up,

many face event, normal and hard mankind was far to hard what’s the point having normal hard and hell if the character has the same talent all the way through?

also the rock shown for use in event was the rock showboat, yet you couldn’t actually use him as he is attitude era.

the woman’s showdown scrimmage seemed pointless as there wasn’t really any reward for grinding away.

Very disappointed in the lack of effort from the design team. As well, having a 5 Dtsr Gold opponent on normal is a way to turn players off from the game. Poor decision making all around.
