The cadence of events changes from time to time to keep things fresh. If you want to do extra blitzes the VIP passes have a blitz you can complete as well

Blitz is required to move up in leagues. So now we have to pay in order to do that?

No, but if you want an "extra" blitz. That option exists via VIP

I don't want an "extra" blitz, I just want the two a month that we had been getting previously. This change does not keep the game "fresh." Taking away a blitz makes the game more difficult to progress since it gives less opportunities to work on a requirement for moving up in leagues. Not to mention charging more for the blitz means we have to spend more blitz tickets to achieve the requirement, again, making it harder to progress.
That said, I like having the week 1 tour instead of the blitz, but if the options are week 1 tour and one blitz a month or no tour and two blitzes a month, I'll take the two blitzes a month.

with today's blitz we will also reduce the blitz requirements for the League objectives. once you played at least one blitz you should be able to see the changes.

League 18 is still 450. Error or did they only adjust it for League 19, which is now only 100?

I'm still seeing 450 blitzes needed for league 19. Is this supposed to be switched over for everyone?

If you play 1 Blitz it should be lowered to 100.

It didn't. I played around 25 blitzes last night and still see 450 (see attached image)

It shouldn't take 5 days to find out the details of an update. It seems like the information has been pretty poorly communicated.

Okay, so now it's been over a week and we still don't know if the blitz requirements were lowered for all leagues or just league 19. I understand that the mods can only relay the information that they've been given, but I just can't understand why it's taking so long for the mods to get a response. I can't imagine it would take longer than 5 to 10 minutes to write an email with the updates blitz requirements. Of course, I really don't understand why the mods were not given that information when the original announcement was made. I find this whole situation comical.

Okay, it's been two weeks since was originally posted and there's still no update about what "reduce the blitz requirements for the League objectives" means. Is it all possible to get a list of the new blitz requirements for each league?

Just a weekly reminder that we still don't know what the updated blitz requirements are. It's pretty impressive that communication has been this bad.

I dont want this to come across as blaming the mods here but how hard could this possibly be? Presumably they told you to tell us this and nothing happened. And they just ignore you and us??

An official update on something that was supposed to be updated three weeks ago. I'm sorry, I know it's not your fault, but I just don't understand why the communication has been so bad on this. At this point, I'm not expecting any update until blitz comes back and even then the update might still not be live.

At this point I'd rather grind the 450 then wait for the 100. I understand there are kinks to work out and I really am trying to be patient. I should have just finished it when you guys brought it back a few weeks ago instead of doing the 200/450 I did.

well the fact that league 18 was updated weeks ago and not other leagues and we can't get an update about it would usually mean there's a 99.9% chance this is intended to be only an update to league 18 and nothing else

That was my thought as well. And if that is the case, why wasn't that communicated from the beginning? (I'm not blaming the mods here) If the mods were told "we will also reduce the blitz requirements for the League objectives," that makes it seem like the blitz requirements for all Leagues are being reduced. If it was just for one league, that's fine even though it doesn't solve the overall problem. Like I've said from the beginning, the communication has been horrible on this issue and I hope both the mods and Scopely understand that vague information about updates probably should not be passed on to the players.

League 18 was not updated at all. It was 450 before the event and remains 450 now.

So, am I right in thinking that nothing was actually changed after this announcement was made? The only change I can find is that League 19 was announced as requiring 450 blitz wins, but only required 100 wins when it was launched, which happened before this announcement was made. I suppose it's possible that we will see the blitz requirements reduced once the next update comes out, but I wouldn't bet on it.

i came back to the game after maybe 6 months of not caring at all.. the welcome back objectives were nice, but it REALLY sucks that blitz seem to be all but deleted.. yet there's no communication on why.. i was never a fan of blitz because I never wanted to min max my roster.. but boy howdy do I miss it now I've built up 5 stars and need the rewards to progress
